Vor dem Benutzen
Der Mixer darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck gemäß dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung verwendet werden. Lesen Sie die Gebrauchsan-
weisung deshalb vor der Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig. Sie gibt Anwei-
sungen für den Gebrauch, die Reinigung und die Pflege des Gerätes.
Bei Nichtbeachtung übernehmen wir keine Haftung für eventuelle
Schäden. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig auf und
geben Sie diese gemeinsam mit dem
Gerät an Nachbenutzer weiter. Beachten Sie auch die Garantiehinweise
am Ende. Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt,
sondern nur für die Zubereitung von Lebensmitteln in haushaltsüb-
lichen
Mengen. Beim Gebrauch die Sicherheitshinweise beachten.

Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontakt-
steckdose anschließen. Zuleitung und Stecker
▪ müssen trocken sein.
▪ Die Anschlussleitung nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder
einklemmen, nicht herunterhängen lassen sowie vor Hitze und Öl
schützen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht auf heiße Oberflächen wie Herdplatten o. Ä. stellen
und nicht in der Nähe offener Flammen betreiben.
▪ Den Netzstecker nicht an der Leitung oder mit nassen Händen aus
der Steckdose ziehen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht mit leerem Glaskrug einschalten.
▪ Das Gerät immer mit geschlossenem Deckel betreiben. Vor
Abnehmen des Deckels bzw. des Glaskruges unbedingt den
Stillstand des Messers abwarten.
▪ Bei laufendem Gerät keinesfalls mit Gegenständen im Glaskrug
hantieren.
▪ Nicht in den Krug hinein greifen, bevor der Netzstecker
gezogen ist.
▪ Achtung! Beim Verarbeiten von heißen Lebensmitteln besteht
Verbrühungsgefahr. Im Extremfall könnte der Glaskrug beschädigt
werden. Es dürfen nur Lebensmittel mit maximal 60°C verarbeitet
werden. In diesem Fall den Krug höchstens halb füllen und den
Deckel während des Betriebs mit der Hand fest auf den Krug
drücken.
▪ Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließ-
lich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder
geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels
Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für
ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von
ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.

▪ Achten Sie darauf, dass Kinder keine Gelegenheit erhalten, mit dem
Gerät zu spielen.
▪ Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie
nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
▪Vorsicht beim Umgang mit den scharfen Schneidmessern sowie
beim Leeren des Krugs und beim Reinigen.
▪Vor dem Auswechseln von Zubehör oder Zusatzteilen, die im
Betrieb bewegt werden, muss das Gerät ausgeschaltet und vom
Netz getrennt werden.
▪ Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort Netzstecker ziehen,
wenn:
⋅Gerät oder Netzkabel beschädigt ist
⋅der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nacheinem
⋅Sturz oder Ähnlichem besteht.
In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.
▪ Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
⋅bei Störungen während des Betriebes
⋅vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege
⋅nach dem Gebrauch.
▪ Die Antriebseinheit nicht in Wasser tauchen.
▪ Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedienung oder nicht fachge-
rechter Reparatur wird keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden
übernommen. Ebenso sind Garantieleistungen in solchen Fällen
ausgeschlossen.
▪ Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.
▪Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie
durch den zentralen Kundendienst des Herstellers oder eine ähnlich
qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Repara-
turen könnten erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen.
Antriebseinheit
Die Drehzahl des leistungsstarken Motors können Sie am Wahlschalter
der Antriebseinheit in 2 Stufen einstellen. So lange Sie den Wahlschal-
ter auf die Pulse-Stufe P halten, läuft der Motor mit maximaler Dreh-
zahl. Dies ist besonders nützlich, bei der Zerkleinerung von Eiswürfeln.
Inbetriebnahme
Reinigen Sie Glaskrug, Deckel und Verschlusskappe vor der ersten
Inbetriebnahme. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich am scharfen Messer
nicht verletzen. Setzen Sie den Glaskrug wie im Bild dargestellt auf
die Antriebseinheit und verriegeln Sie ihn fest durch Drehen im
Uhrzeigersinn.
Füllen Sie die ersten Zutaten ein, verschließen Sie den Glaskrug mit
Deckel und Verschlusskappe und stellen Sie den Wahlschalter auf die
gewünschte Betriebsart.

Weitere Zutaten können nach dem Abnehmen der Verschlusskappe
auch bei laufendem Motor hinzugefügt werden.
Zerkleinern von Eiswürfeln
Füllen Sie maximal 10 Eiswürfel ein und verschließen Sie den Glaskrug
mit Deckel und Verschlusskappe. Stellen Sie den Wahlschalter für
wenige Sekunden auf die Pulse-Stufe P und stellen Sie ihn wieder
auf die Aus-Stellung 0 zurück. Sobald die Eiswürfel wieder am Boden
liegen, können Sie erneut für einige Sekunden auf die Puls-Stufe P
schalten. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang so lange, bis das zerkleinerte
Eis die gewünschte Konsistenz erreicht hat.
Allgemeine Hinweise
Als maximale Füllmenge wird 1,25 l empfohlen. Bei Füllung darüber
hinaus könnte es je nach Konsistenz der Zutaten zum Überlaufen
kommen. Sobald die Menge verarbeitet ist, ausschalten. Keinesfalls
das Gerät leer betreiben. Lassen Sie das Gerät nach der in der Tabelle
angegebenen maximalen Betriebszeit abkühlen, um den Motor nicht
zu überlasten. Bei großen Füllmengen lässt sich besonders dünnflüs-
siger Inhalt schlecht gezielt
ausgießen. In diesem Fall sollte die Menge besser aufgeteilt zubereitet
werden. Vor dem Abnehmen des Glaskruges unbedingt den Wahlschal-
ter auf die Aus-Stellung 0 stellen.
Achtung, Verletzungsgefahr! Vor dem Abnehmen des Deckels
unbedingt den Stillstand des Messers abwarten. Nicht in das Gerät
hineingreifen, solange der Netzstecker in der Steckdose steckt.
Nach dem Gebrauch den Glaskrug vollständig entleeren. Keine Flüssig-
keit im Krug stehen lassen.

Reinigung und Pflege
Nach Gebrauch Netzstecker ziehen. Die Antriebseinheit keinesfalls in
Wasser tauchen, sondern außen nur mit einem feuchten Tuch abwi-
schen. Keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Achten Sie
darauf, dass Sie sich beim Reinigen des Glaskruges nicht am scharfen
Messer verletzen. Füllen Sie unmittelbar nach dem
Mixen warmes Spülwasser ein und lassen Sie den Motor einige
Sekunden laufen. Anschließend den Glaskrug abnehmen und mit einer
Spülbürste reinigen. Für eine einfache und unkomplizierte Reinigung
können Sie alle losen Teile in die Spülmaschine geben.
Garantie-Information
Für unsere Geräte übernehmen wir gegenüber dem Endkunden eine
24-monatige Haltbarkeitsgarantie. Sie beginnt mit dem Kauf des
Gerätes durch den Endkunden und gilt im Gebiet der Bundesrepublik
Deutschland. Ansprüche aus dieser Garantie sind unter Vorlage des
Kaufbelegs direkt gegenüber unserem zentralen
Kundendienst geltend zu machen. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen
sind Schäden durch normalen Verschleiß, Glasbruch, unsachgemäßen
Gebrauch, sowie unterbliebene Pflege.
Das Gerät entspricht den Europäischen Richtlinien 2006/95/EG und
2004/108/ EG.
EG-Richtlinie 2002/96/EG Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner
Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt
werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von
elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden. Die Werk-
stoffe sind gemäß ihrer Kennzeichnung wieder verwertbar. Mit der
Wiederverwendung, der stofflichen Verwertung oder anderen Formen

Prior to use
The blender may only be used for its intended purpose in compli-
ance with this operating manual. Read the entire operating manual
carefully prior to first use. It provides instructions for the use, cleaning
and care of the appliance. We will not accept any liability for damages
resulting from non-compliance. Keep these operating instructions
safe and give them together with the appliance to any subsequent
user. Please also observe the warranty information at the end of the
operating manual. The appliance is not intended for commercial use;
it is designed only for preparing food products in quantities typical for
normal households.
Be sure to follow the safety information when using the appliance.

Safety information
▪ Connect the appliance only to a shockproof socket that has been
installed according to regulations. The supply line and power plug
must be dry.
▪ Do not pull the power cable over sharp edges or jam it, do not let it
hang down, protect it from heat and oil.
▪ Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces or similar, and do not
operate near open flames.
▪ Do not pull the power plug out of the socket outlet by the cable or
when your hands are wet.
▪ Do not switch on the appliance with the jug empty.
▪ Always make sure that the lid is closed before use. Before
removing the lid or the glass jug, be sure to wait until the
blades have come to a standstill.
▪ Do not manipulate with any objects inside the glass jug while the
appliance is running.
▪ Do not reach into the jug before the power plug has been
pulled out of the socket outlet.
▪ Warning! There is the danger of scalding when using the appliance
for mixing hot liquids and solids. In the worst case the glass jar
could be damaged. Only liquids or solids with a maximum tempera-
ture of 60° C can be used. In this case fill the jar only half and keep
the lid pressed on the jar with your hand during operation.
▪ This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including
children) with limited physical, sensory or intellectual faculties or
who lack experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or have received instruc-
tions from such a person on how to use the appliance.
▪ Please make sure that children do not have an opportunity to play
with the appliance.

▪ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
▪ Care should be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades,
emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
▪ Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before chan-
ging accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
▪ Do not operate the appliance but pull out the power plug immedi-
ately if:
⋅the appliance or power cable is damaged
⋅a defect is suspected after a fall or similar occurrence
In these cases, have the appliance repaired.
▪ Pull out the power plug:
⋅if faults arise during operation,
⋅prior to all cleaning and servicing work,
⋅after use.
▪ Never dip the power unit in water.
▪We will not accept any liability for damages resulting from misuse,
incorrect operation or unqualified repairs. Also, warranty services
are excluded in such cases.
▪ The appliance is not intended for commercial use.
▪ If the power cable of the appliance is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer‘s central customer service or by a similarly
qualified person. Incorrect repairs may result in considerable
hazards for the user.
Power unit
You can adjust the speed of the powerful motor in two steps using the
selector switch on the power unit.
As long as you hold the selector switch on pulsing mode P, the motor
will run at maximum speed. This is very useful when crushing ice.
Start-up
Clean the glass jug, lid and cap before using for the first time.
Take care not to cut yourself on the sharp blades.
Place the glass jug onto the power unit as shown in the figure and
turn it in clockwise direction to lock in place.
Fill in the first ingredients, close the glass jug with the lid and cap, and
set the selector switch to the required operating mode.

Further ingredients can be added after removing the cap, even while
the motor is running.
Crushing ice
Fill in a maximum of 10 ice cubes and close the glass jug with the lid
and cap. Set the selector switch to pulsing mode P for a few seconds,
and then back to the OFF position 0. As soon as the ice cubes have
collected at the bottom of the jug, switch pulsing mode P back on
again for a few seconds. Repeat this procedure until the crushed ice
has the required consistency.
General information
The recommended maximum filling quantity is 1.25 litres. Depending
on the consistency of the ingredients, overfilling may cause the
ingredients to overflow. As soon as the ingredients are processed,
switch off the appliance. Do not operate the appliance when the jug
is empty. After the maximum operating time specified in the table, let
the appliance cool down in order to prevent the motor from overloa-
ding. Especially liquid products are difficult to poor out precisely when
working with large filling quantities. In this case, prepare the product
in several smaller steps. Before removing the glass jug, be sure to set
the selector switch to the OFF position 0.
Warning, risk of injury!
Before removing the lid, be sure to wait until the blades have
come to a standstill. Do not reach into the appliance while the
power plug is connected to the socket outlet.
After use, empty the glass jug completely. Do not leave any residues
standing in the jug.
Cleaning and service
Pull out the power plug after use. Never immerse the power unit in
water; only wipe the outside clean with a damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive cleaning agents. Take care not to cut yourself on the sharp
blades while cleaning the glass jug. Fill in warm washing-up water
straight after mixing, and allow the motor run for a few seconds. Then
remove the glass jug and clean with a washing-up brush. For easy and
uncomplicated cleaning, put all loose parts into the dishwasher.

▪ This product is supplied with a 13 A plug conforming to BS 1363
fitted to the mains lead. If the plug is unsuitable for your socket
outlets or needs to be replaced, please note the following. If the
plug is a non-rewireable one, cut it from the mains lead and imme-
diately dispose of it. Never insert it into a socket outlet as there is a
very great risk of an electric shock.
▪ The replacement of the plug at the mains lead has to be done
according to the following instructions:
Warning - This appliance must be earthed.
Important: The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac-cordance
with the following code:
green/yellow Earth
blue Neutral
brown Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appli-ance
may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
⋅the wire which is coloured green and yellow must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter E or
by the earth symbol , or coloured green or green and
yellow,
⋅the wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked the letter N or coloured black,
⋅the wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red
▪ If a 13 A (BS 1363) plug is used it must be fitted with a 3 A fuse
conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved. If any other type of
plug is used, the appliance must be protected by a 5 A fuse either
in the plug or adapter or at the distribution board.
If in doubt - consult a qualified electrician.
▪ Never use the plug without closing the fuse cover.
The appliance is compliant with European Directives 2006/95/EC and
2004/108/EC.

This product may not be disposed of with the normal household waste
at the end of its service life but must be delivered to a collecting
point for recycling electrical and electronic appliances. The materials
are reusable in accordance with their identification. You will make
an important contribution to the protection of our environment by
recycling used appliances.
Please ask about the responsible disposal point at your community
offices.

Avant utilisation
Le mixer ne devra être utilisé que pour les besoins prévus confor-
mément au mode d‘emploi. C‘est pourquoi lisez avec soin le mode
d‘emploi avant la mise en service. Il fournit des indications pour
l‘emploi, le nettoyage et l‘entretien de l‘appareil. En cas de non-
respect, nous ne prenons aucune responsabilité pour d‘éventuels
dommages. Conservez soigneusement le mode d‘emploi et donnez-le
avec l‘appareil à l‘utilisateur ultérieur. Respectez aussi les indications
de garantie indiquées à la fin du mode d‘emploi. L‘appareil n‘est pas
conçu pour un emploi commercial mais uniquement pour la prépara-
tion de denrées alimentaires en quantités ménagères usuelles.
Respecter les consignes de sécurité pour l’utilisation.

Consignes de sécurité
▪ L’appareil ne doit être raccordé qu’à une prise de courant de
sécurité. Câble d’alimentation et prise doivent être secs.
▪ Ne pas tirer le cordon d‘alimentation sur des arêtes vives ou le
coincer, ne pas le laisser pendre et le protéger contre la chaleur et
l‘huile.
▪ Ne pas placer l‘appareil sur des surfaces chaudes telles que des
plaques de cuisson ou autres et ne pas l‘utiliser à proximité de
flammes nues.
▪ Ne pas retirer la fiche de la prise secteur en tirant sur le cordon
d‘alimentation ou avec des mains humides.
▪ Ne pas brancher l‘appareil avec un bol en verre vide.
▪ Toujours exploiter l‘appareil avec le couvercle fermé. Avant de
retirer le couvercle ou le bol en verre, impérativement attendre
l‘arrêt du couteau.
▪ Ne jamais manipuler d‘objets dans le bol en verre lorsque l‘appareil
est en marche.
▪ Ne pas mettre les mains dans le bol avant de retirer la fiche
secteur.
▪ Attention! Il y a toujours danger de s’ébouillanter avec les liquides
chaudes. Au pire cas, la verseuse en verre pourrait être endomma-
gée. N’utilisez que des aliments avec une température maximum
de 60° C. Dans ce cas, ne jamais remplir plus de la moitié de la
verseuse et tenir le couvercle pressé sur la verseuse à la main
pendant l’opération.
▪ Cet appareil n‘est pas conçu pour être utilisé par des personnes
(y compris des enfants) dont les facultés physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales sont restreintes ou manquant d‘expérience et/ou de
connaissances, sauf si elles sont sous surveillance d‘une personne
