These instructions are for programming Receivers to a new Transmitter. Please be sure to read the
entire instructions before programming.
NOTE: You will need the part number on the Remote Shut-off receiver label to continue.

OPENING THE NEW TRANSMITTER
1) Your new transmitter should look like this: (front) (back)
2) Flip the transmitter over and remove the ring clip.
3) Remove the Philips head screw and gently pry the plastic case open.
4) Remove the circuit board but leave the battery in place.

(for example: RES12VX, RES6VX)

PROGRAMMING
1) Disconnect power to the Receiver.
2) Have the new Transmitter (with battery) ready. (test by pushing a button and the red
LED should turn on.
3) Apply power to the Receiver and continue to the next step within 10 seconds.
4) Push the bottom button on the receiver for 3 seconds.
5) Listen for a long beep from the receiver indicating that the transmitter’s code has been
saved.
6) Disconnect the power to the Receiver for a few seconds.
7) Connect power to the Receiver and test new Transmitter by pushing the Lock and then
the Unlock buttons.
ERASE RECEIVER
1) The Receiver’s memory can be entirely erased of all transmitter codes.
2) Disconnect power to the Receiver for a few seconds and reconnect.
3) Press the Erase button on the transmitter for 5 seconds.
4) Release the button when you hear 8 short beeps from the Receiver indicating that all
codes have been erased.

Programming requires the use of a Programming Transmitter that is available on our website.
PROGRAMMING
1) Disconnect power from the Receiver for 30 seconds.
2) Have the new Transmitter and the Programming Transmitter ready. They will both be
used within a few seconds once power is applied to the Receiver.
3) Apply power to the Receiver (should be two beeps {programmed} or three beeps
{erased}) and continue to next step within 5 seconds.
4) Press the white LOCK button on the Programming Transmitter. The receiver will emit
two beeps to signal that it is ready to be programmed. Continue to the next step within 5
seconds.
5) Press the “Lock” button on the new Transmitter. The receiver will emit one beep.
6) Press the “Unlock” button on the new Transmitter. The receiver will emit three beeps.
7) Optional - If more than one transmitter is being programmed to the receiver, repeat Step
5 and 6 until all transmitters have been programmed (Limit of 20)
8) Disconnect the power to the Receiver for a few seconds.
9) Connect power to the Receiver and test new Transmitter function.
ERASE RECEIVER
1) The Receiver’s memory can be entirely erased by disconnecting power (30 seconds)
and reconnecting power to the Receiver.
2) Immediately after power is connected, press the white UNLOCK button on the
Programming Transmitter until the receiver emits six short beeps to confirm complete
deletion of all transmitter programming.

PROGRAMMING
1) Disconnect power from the Receiver for 30 seconds.
2) Have the new Transmitter (white) and the Programming Transmitter (black) ready. They
will both be used within a few seconds once power is applied to the Receiver.
3) Apply power to the Receiver (1 beep) and continue to next step within 5 seconds.
4) Press and hold the LOCK button on the Programming Transmitter. Within a few seconds
the Receiver will emit one beep. Let go of the LOCK button and continue to the next step
within 5 seconds.
5) Press the “Lock” button on the new Transmitter. The receiver will emit three beeps to
confirm programming.
6) Repeat step 5 if more than one Transmitter is being programmed.
7) Disconnect the power to the Receiver for a few seconds.
8) Connect power to the Receiver and test new Transmitter function.
ERASE RECEIVER
3) The Receiver’s memory can be entirely erased by disconnecting power (30 seconds)
and reconnecting power to the Receiver.
4) Immediately after power is connected, press and hold the UNLOCK button on the
Programming Transmitter until the receiver emit five beeps to confirm complete deletion
of all transmitter programming.
