An E2 Linux Receiver is very extensive and is developed every day. Therefore,it is very
difficult to create a manual according to the current state. The manual was created based
on the software version openATV 6.4.
A function can change, evolve or even disappear after a certain amount of time.

and on the packaging.

1.1Safety instruction
This device complies with international safety standards.
Before commissioning, please read the safety instructions carefully and

on the device. Avoid the penetration of foreign bodies and liquids into the device.
Do not expose the device to dripping or splashing water.
Mains connection:100 240V Ac, 50 / 60Hz. First connect the receiver with
the power grid after you have completely wired it. Avoid overloading the
Socket, the power supply lines or a power supply. This could be to fire or one
lead electric shock.
Installation: The rubber feet can cause color changes in connection with furniture surfaces.
If necessary, place the device on a suitable surface.
Faults: In case of damage to the mainscable or the device immediately unplug the mains
plug from the mains socket. Never try to open or repair the device yourself.
Batteries: Children may take batteries in their mouths and swallow them. Leaking
batteries can damage the remote control. If the receiver is not used for along time, remove
the batteries from the remote control.
Use only genuine parts and accessories: Use only original parts or parts recommended by
your dealer to prevent damage to your device or injury. Failure to observe this warning will
void the device warranty. Every intervention and every repair must only be carried out by a
qualified specialist!

Any other use is considered improper and can lead to property damage, possibly even

PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 January 2003 on waste
electrical and electronic equipment(WEEE). Please dispose of this device
at the end of its use for disposal at the designated public collection points.
Packaging and packaging aids that are nolonger needed
are recyclable and should always be recycled.
Used batteries are not to be disposed in household waste.
These must be handed in at a collection point. Information
about the collection points can be obtained from your local
municipality.
Legislators have clearly regulated the disposal of batteries. Batteries must
be returned free of charge by the dealer or by municipal collection points in
normal household quantities. Batteries may no longer be disposed of with
household waste. Take advantage of the free return options! Protect your
environment. Return used batteries.

Intended use: The digital receiver is used to receive digital TV or Radio programs in
the private sector. It is exclusively intended for the stated purpose and may only be
used for it. This includes the observance of all information in this manual, especially
the safety instructions.

3.2 Information about RCU and batteries
Observe the following instructions to avoid damage or battery leakage:
• DO NOT use new and old batteries together!
• DO NOT use two different batteries!
• Remove the batteries from the remote control if you will not be using them for a long time!
Always aim the remote at the receiver -not at your TV. The distance should not be greater
than 7m. The angle should not exceed 30 °.
If you want to place the receiver behind your
TV set or in a TV cabinet, use the IR sensor.
(Illustration can deviate).
Open the battery cover in the
direction of the arrow and remove
it upwards
Insert the two batteries correctly
into the battery compartment as
shown.
Pay attention to the correct
polarity when inserting the
batteries!

4.1 First installation / Installation wizard
The FIRST INSTALLATION WIZZARD starts with the first installation after your purchase.
When you use this receiver for the first
time, the automatic installation wizard
starts and guides you through initial
programming. Press the RED button
to change your language.
First select your input (HDMI or JACK).
Use ▲ / ▼ buttons on your remote
control to select and confirm your
selection with the OK button.
Choose your next menu, to the receiver
some screen solutions from your tv
device from read soil. Choose you yes
/ no with the keys ▲ / ▼ on your
remote and confirm your selection
with the OK button.
Your possible resolutions are now
displayed. Select your desired
resolution (video Mode) with the
▲ / ▼ buttons on your remote
control and confirm your selection
with the OK button.
e.g.: 720p, 1080p, 1080i, 576p,
576i, 480p, 2160p
In next menu, select the refresh rate
with the ▲ / ▼ buttons on the
remote control and confirm your
selection with the OK button.
e.g50 Hz, multi, 60 Hz, auto
