Installation
DISCONNECT ALL POWER SOURCES WHEN INSTALLING OR SERVICING THIS PRODUCT. FAILURE TO
TURN OFF ALL POWER SOURCES COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
Installing Float Switch Cable
STEP 1: REMOVE CABLE CLIP
Remove cable clip from the cable weight by lifting tab upward until it releases from the notch (1A; do not exceed more than a
20 degree angle) and pull directly away (1B).
1A
(lift)
1B (slide)
STEP 2: TETHER LENGTH
Determine the desired activation level, place oat switch cable in slot of the cable weight with cable clip removed, and tether
oat switch to the appropriate length. Refer to the instructions that came with the oat switch for recommended tether length
guides to determine activation or pumping range.
Control Switches (Narrow Angle)
Minimum recommended tether length is 3.5 inches
Pump Switches (Wide Angle)
Minimum recommended tether length is 3.5 inches

STEP 3: SECURE FLOAT SWITCH CABLE
To secure oat switch cable to the cable weight, press the cable clip into slot until it clicks and stops snug against the cable.
Perform a pull test, if the oat switch cable slips, press cable clip into the next notch. See Tightening Cable Clip step 1 for further
instructions on proper installation of cable clip.
Tightening Cable Clip
STEP 1: PROPER INSTALLATION OF CABLE CLIP
Press cable clip into slot until it clicks and stops in notch which makes the most snug t against oat switch cable without
pinching. Make sure the oat switch cable is securely fastened to prevent slipping of the cable, this will maintain an accurate
activation level (control switches) or pumping range (pump switches).
