INTRODUCTION

TheCF-POE4/100isa6-Port10/100MpbsPoESwitch.ThePoEports(Port1~4)canautomatically

detectandsupplypowerwiththoseIEEE802.3af/atcompliantPoweredDevices(PD).

Theelectricalpoweristransmittedalongwithdatainonesinglecableallowingyoutoexpandyour

network where there are no power lines or outlets, where you wish to x devices such as AP, IP

CamerasorIPPhones,etc.

CF-POE4/100iseasytoinstallanddoesn’tneedconguration.Withoutstandingperformanceand

quality,the6-port10/100MbpsdesktopPoE switch is anidealchoiceforexpandingyour home or

o󰀩cenetwork.

HARDWARE DESCRIPTION

Front Panel

The front panel consists of Ethernet ports. The LED indicators are also located on the panel.

DIP Switch

TheDIPswitchislocatedonthelefthandsideofthefrontpanel

Default:Thefactorydefaultmodeallowsnormalcommunicationbetweenport1~6.

CCTV:1-4portareisolatedfromeachotherwhilsteachport(1-4)canstillcommunicatewithports5

&6.Thismodecanpreventabroadcaststorm.

InCCTVmode,theswitchcanpowerupto250mPoEdistanceallowingyoutoexpandyournetwork

viaEthernetcabletolocationswithnopower,fortheinstallationofPoEdevicessuchasIPCameras.

Note:afterchangingthemode,thereisnoneedtorestarttheswitch.

Rear Panel

TherearpaneloftheCF-POE4/100indicatesACinletpowersocketandgroundingcolumn.

Grounding column

Thegroundingcolumnisontheleftsideofthepowersupplyinterface.Pleaseusewiregroundingto

preventlightningstrikedamage.

INSTALLATION OF THE SWITCH

ThispartdescribeshowtoinstallyourEthernetSwitchandmakeconnectionstoit.Pleasefollowthe

instructionstoavoidincorrectinstallationcausingdevicedamageandsecuritythreat.

 ●Beforecleaningtheswitch,unplugthemainspowerplug.Donotcleantheswitch

 withwetclothorliquid;

 ●Donotplacetheswitchnearwateroranydamparea.Preventwaterormoisture

 fromenteringtheswitchchassis;

 ●Donotplacetheswitchonanunstablecaseordesk.Theswitchmightbedam-

 agedseverelyincaseofafall;

 ●Ensureproperventilationoftheequipmentroomandkeeptheventilationventsof

 theswitchfreeofobstruction;

 ●Makesurethattheoperatingvoltageisthesameonelabeledontheswitch;

 ●Donotopenthechassiswhiletheswitchisoperatingorwhenelectricalhazards

 arepresenttoavoidelectricalshocks.

Desktop Installation

InstalltheSwitchonadesktop,allowingadequatespaceforventilationbetweenthedeviceandthe

objectsaroundit.

Wall-mounted installation

Fix2screwsintothewall,positionedtoallowthemtolineupwiththeholesintherearofthecaseof

theswitch.Hangtheswitchontothescrews.

Turn on the switch

ThePoEswitchcanbeusedwithanACpowersupply.Whentheswitchispowered,itwillautomati-

callyinitializeanditsLEDindicatorswillrespondasfollows:

Firstly,thePowerLEDindicatorwilllightup.

Then,thedataLEDindicators will ash momentarilyforonesecond,which represents a resetting

ofthesystem.
