assemble, operate or install the product.
WARNING: Do not use in-tank cleaners in your toilet.
Products containing chlorine (calcium hypochlorite) can
seriously damage fittings in the tank. This damage can cause
leakage and property damage.
CAUTION: Do not lift or rock the bowl after placement. If you
break watertight seal, you must install a new wax seal.
Be sure the water supply valve is shut off before installation.
If replacing an existing toilet, follow these general guidelines. (Not all
toilets and connections are the same. Therefore, these guidelines may
or may not apply.)
Remove Old Toilet
NOTE: Mounting surface must be clean and level before
new toilet is installed.

1. Turn off water supply and flush tank completely. Use a towel to
dry remaining water from tank and bowl.
2. Disconnect and remove old water supply line.
3. Remove tank from bowl by removing old tank-to-bowl hardware.
4. Remove bowl from floor by removing bolt caps and floor bolt nuts.
5. Remove floor bolts from toilet flange and clean old wax, putty and
sealant from base area. (Temporarily plug floor flange with a towel
or cover to block sewer gases from escaping.)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install Floor Bolts
Insert floor flange bolts (AA) into toilet flange (not included)
with bolt heads down and threaded ends facing up. (Bolts
should be parallel to wall and 6 in. apart). Then, place plastic
disc nuts (BB) onto the floor flange bolts (AA) to hold it in place
while installing toilet.

2. Install Wax Ring
Turn toilet bowl (A) upside down onto a cushioned surface.
Place wax ring (NN) over the raised outlet ring of the bowl.
Press firmly and slightly twist wax ring against bowl so the wax
adheres to the bowl.

3. Position Bowl on Floor Flange
Gently lower the bowl (A) onto position with the floor flange bolts
(AA) protruding up through the holes in the base of the bowl.
Once bowl is in position, press down with a slight twisting
motion on the top center of the bowl, eventually applying
full body weight to evenly compress the wax ring to create a
watertight seal. Make sure the bowl is as level as possible.
CAUTION: Do not rock the bowl back and forth as
this may break the seal.
TIP: It may be necessary to use small wedges
(shims) under the edge of the bowl due to slight
not wobble or rock.

NOTE: Inspect existing floor flange for damage. If it
is damaged, replace the flange before proceeding.
NOTE: If wax ring has an integral plastic flange, be
sure flange taper points away from the toilet.
NOTE: Keep the bowl level as it is lowered onto the
floor flange. You may need a second person to help
lift the bowl.

5. Install Tank-to-Bowl Seal
Turn the tank (B) upside down and press the tank-to-bowl seal
(GG) into place over the lower tank opening.
Unscrew the metal flat washers (II) and wing nuts (JJ) from the
tank screws (HH). Lower the tank (B) onto the bowl (A) and let
the tank screws (HH) protrude through the mounting holes on
bowl (A). From the underside of bowl (A), thread metal flat
washers (II) and wing nuts (JJ) onto the protruding tank
screws (HH). Tighten the wing nuts (JJ) alternatively until the
tank (B) is evenly seated on the bowl (A).
7. Attach Water Supply Line
Connect the water supply line (not included) to the tank (B) and
shut-off valve. Tighten the tank connection coupling nut 1/4 turn
beyond hand tight.
CAUTION: Do not overtighten the tank connection
nut.
Turn on supply valve and allow tank to fill. Check for leaks at all
connections and tighten or correct as needed.

CAUTION: Do not overtighten bowl nuts because
vitreous china can easily crack or chip.
Pour water into bowl to prevent the escape of sewer gases.

Place the bevel discs (CC), at washers (DD) and bowl nuts
(EE) onto the oor ange bolts (AA) in that order. Alternately
tighten bowl nuts (EE) until toilet (A) is rmly seated on oor.
Place the oor bolt caps (FF) over the oor ange bolts (AA)
and snap into place.
Note: If the ange bolts (AA) are too long, carefully cut the top
of the ange bolts (AA) with a hacksaw (not included) to make
room for the bolt caps (FF).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Do not use in-tank bowl cleaners as they can contain aggressive chemicals that attack the tank
components and will void the warranty.
• Always use soft cloths or sponges to clean the surface. Using abrasive materials may damage the surface of the toilet.
• Flush valves are set at the factory and should not need adjustment.
• Always rinse cleaning solutions from the surface immediately after cleaning. Do not let chemicals remain on the toilet
surface for extended periods of time.

8. Install Seat
Place seat (C) on bowl (A), centering the hinges over the holes
in the bowl. Open the hinge covers, insert plastic seat bolts (KK)
onto plastic seat bolts (KK) from underneath the bowl (A). Use a
screwdriver to secure seat lock nuts (LL). Close hinge covers.

Position flush button (OO) on top of the tank lid (D) so the small
button with the blue rod (half flush) will align with the green button on
top of the flush valve per-assembled to tank (B) and the larger button
with the white rod will align with the white button (OO) in tank lid (D)
by hand tightening.
The flush button (OO) may have been assembled at the factory.
NOTE: Make sure the tip on the bottom of the push rods leading from
the flush buttons lightly touch the top of the levers on the flush valve. To
increase the rod length, turn the rod locknut counterclockwise to loosen,
then rotate the push rod counterclockwise to increase exposed length.
When desired length is achieved, turn the rod locknut clockwise while holding
the push rods until it is tightened. To shorten the rod length, turn the rod locknut
counterclockwise to loosen, then rotate the push rod clockwise decrease exposed length.
• After installation, flush several times and check for leaks.
• The small button is for a light flush that takes away only liquids. It uses only 1.1 gallons of water.
The larger button is for a complete flushing action that takes away solids and liquids.
This flush uses 1.6 gallons of water and is a standard flushing action that
disposes of waste and cleans the basin.
• Always test cleaners on a small, inconspicuous area first.

purchase.
Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original purchaser must be made available to the manufacturer for all
warranty claims. This warranty is non-transferable. It does not apply in the event of installation error, abuse, misuse or
improper care and maintenance (whether by a contractor, service company or member of the purchaser’s household).
This warranty does not apply to any products that have been moved or removed from their original installation site. This
warranty excluded all industrial, commercial and business usage. This warranty does not cover labor charges incurred
and/or damage sustained in installation, repair or replacement, nor incidental or consequential damages.

1. Fermez l’alimentation en eau et actionnez la chasse d’eau de
façon à vider complètement le réservoir. Asséchez le réservoir et
la cuvette à l’aide d’une serviette.
2. Débranchez et retirez la vieille conduite d’alimentation en eau.
3. Retirez le réservoir de la cuvette en enlevant les fixations qui le
maintiennent.
4. Retirez la cuvette en enlevant les cache-boulons et les boulons
d’ancrage au sol.
5. Retirez les boulons d’ancrage au sol et nettoyez les résidus de
cire, de mastic et de pâte d’étanchéité. (Bouchez temporairement
le trou de la bride de sol à l’aide d’un linge ou d’un couvercle pour
empêcher les gaz émanant des égouts de se répandre.)

INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’INSTALLATION
Insérez les boulons pour bride de sol (AA) dans la bride de sol
(non incluse), tête vers le bas et extrémité filetée vers le haut.
(Les boulons doivent être parallèles au mur et espacés de
15,24 cm.) Placez ensuite les écrous plats en plastique (BB)
sur les boulons pour bride de sol (AA) afin de les tenir en
place pendant l’installation de la toilette.

2. Installation de l’anneau en cire
Posez la cuvette de toilette (A) à l’envers sur une surface
matelassée. Placez l’anneau en cire (NN) sur l’anneau de
sortie saillant de la cuvette. Appuyez fermement sur l’anneau
en cire en appliquant un léger mouvement de rotation pour que
la cire adhère bien à la cuvette.

3. Installation de la cuvette sur la bride de sol
Abaissez doucement la cuvette (A) de façon à ce que les
boulons pour bride de sol (AA) ressortent des trous de la base
de la cuvette.
Une fois la cuvette en place, appuyez sur le centre arrière en
appliquant un léger mouvement de rotation et augmentez
graduellement la pression exercée jusqu’à y mettre tout votre
poids, de façon à comprimer uniformément l’anneau en cire
pour obtenir un joint étanche. Faites en sorte que la cuvette
soit le plus possible de niveau.
ATTENTION : Évitez de balancer la cuvette dans un
mouvement de va-et-vient, sans quoi vous risquez
de rompre le joint.
CONSEIL : Il se peut que vous ayez à poser
de petites cales sous les rebords de la cuvette
en raison de légères ne vacille ou ne se
balance pas.

REMARQUE : Inspectez la bride de sol. Si elle est
endommagée, remplacez-la avant de procéder à
l’installation.
REMARQUE : Si l’anneau en cire est doté d’une
bride en plastique, assurez-vous que son extrémité
conique n’est pas orientée vers la toilette.
REMARQUE : Maintenez la cuvette de niveau lorsque
vous l’abaissez sur la bride de sol. Il se peut que vous
ayez besoin de l’aide d’une autre personne pour soulever
la cuvette.

INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’INSTALLATION
Retirez les rondelles plates métalliques (II) et les écrous à
oreilles (JJ) des vis du réservoir (HH). Placez le réservoir (B)
sur la cuvette (A) en laissant les vis du réservoir (HH) dépasser
à travers les trous de fixation de la cuvette (A). Sous la cuvette
(A), vissez les rondelles plates métalliques (II) et les écrous à
oreilles (JJ) sur chaque vis (HH) dépassant du réservoir. Serrez
les écrous à oreilles (JJ) en alternance jusqu’à ce que le
réservoir (B) repose de niveau sur la cuvette (A).
7. Raccord de la conduite d’alimentation en eau
Raccordez la conduite d’alimentation en eau (non incluse) au
réservoir (B) et à la vanne d’arrêt. Serrez à la main l’écrou
d’accouplement du raccord au réservoir, puis serrez-le d’un
quart de tour supplémentaire.
ATTENTION : Évitez de serrer excessivement
l’écrou d’accouplement du raccord au réservoir.
Ouvrez l’alimentation en eau et laissez le réservoir se remplir.
Vérifiez tous les raccords pour vous assurer qu’il n’y a pas de
fuites. Serrez-les ou réglez-les au besoin.

réservoir dans la cuvette
Placez le réservoir (B) à l’envers, installez le joint d’étanchéité
(GG) autour de l’ouverture située sous le réservoir et appuyez sur
le joint.

4. Fixation de la cuvette au plancher
ATTENTION : Évitez de serrer les écrous pour cuvette
de façon excessive; la porcelaine vitrifiée peut
facilement se fissurer ou s’ébrécher.
Versez de l’eau dans la cuvette afin d’empêcher les gaz émanant des égouts de se répandre.

Placez les rondelles biseautées (CC), les rondelles plates (DD)
et les écrous pour cuvette (EE) sur les boulons pour bride de sol
(AA), dans cet ordre. Serrez les écrous pour cuvette (EE) en
alternant de l’un à l’autre jusqu’à ce que la toilette (A) soit fixée
fermement au sol. Placez les cache-boulons (FF) sur les boulons
pour bride de sol (AA) et enclenchez-les.
Remarque : Si les boulons pour bride de sol (AA) sont trop
longs, coupez délicatement la partie supérieure des boulons
avec une scie à métaux (non incluse) pour être en mesure
d’installer les cache-boulons (FF).
