Kontrollera att inga transportskador har uppstått
och att godset överensstämmer med beställning-
en.
Läs igenom bruksanvisningen till Carolift och
säkerställ att Ni förstår hur kranen skall användas
efter installationen.
1. Förberedelser
Ställ bilen på vågrät underlag.
Koppla ifrån batteriets minuspol, för att undvika risk för kortslutning.
Lyft undan mattan och kontrollera lämplig sida i fordonet för kranmontaget. Ta hänsyn
till reservhjulsbalja, sidofack för verktyg, avgassystemets placering m.m.
Det kan behövas distanser mellan konsolämnet och golv, om detta är
ojämnt. Kranen skall monteras vågrät.
LYFTANORDNING
Caroliftkranarna levereras med lyftanordning,
avsedd för en viss typ och viktklass av rullsto-
lar/scootrar, enligt närmare specifikation i Carolift
katalogen. Hopsättning av lyftanordning redovisas
på sidan 27.

2. Demontera kranarmen,
Demontering av kranarm görs i de fall då installationen
kräver höjd och/eller längdanpassning av kranarmen.
Demontering av kranarm:
1. Skruva loss hjulhållaren från kranarmens yttre del.
2. Avlägsna kranarmen genom att släppa på de fyra
stoppskruvarna.
3. Avlägsna skyddskåpan.
Skyddskåpan på Carolift 90 avlägsnas genom att lossa 4 st.
plåtskruvar. Skyddskåpan på Carolift 140 avlägsnas med
4 st. plåtskruv samt en M5 skruv med låsmutter och hatt.
Lossa de två låsskruvarna för vridningen
och häng tillbaka skyddskåporna
provisoriskt.
KONTROLLERA FÖLJANDE INNAN ARBETET PÅBÖRJAS:
Att kranarmens längd räcker till för att lyfta upp rullstolen förbi
bilens stötfångare och samtidigt också kan låta rullstolen
passera genom bagagerumsöppningen.
Att bakdörrarna/luckan kan stängas.

7. Kranarmens höjd
Kapa aldrig höjden mer än att
kranarmen precis kan passera
dörröppningens överkant.

6. Kranarmens längd
Vid behov kan kranarmen kapas
till i längd och höjd.
Kranarmen skall vara tillräck-
ligt lång för att rullstolen skall
komma utanför bilens stötfånga-
re och samtidigt tillräckligt kort
för att rullstolen skall passera
dörröppningen. Tänk på att rullstolen inte skall
stöta emot bilen, då den är
parkerad i en nedförsbacke.
5. Golvinfästningen
Kranen skall fästas i fyra punkter i
golvet.
Använd karosseribricka eller plattjärn,
över och under golvet, för att fördela
kraften runt borrhålen.
Kranens inre infästning skall komplette-
ras med distansröret.
4. Fixera konsolbenen i kranen
Bestäm konsolbenens lägen. Konsolbenen skall fixeras i kra-
nen så att ett utav dem skjuter ut genom fyrkantsprofilen, mot
bilens yttre, bakre hörn (golvinfästning).
Fäst de gängade distanserna med den dubbelhäftande tejpen
på konsolbenen.
Konsolbenen fixeras med de försänkta skruvarna i kranens
bottenplatta, genom de gängade distanserna, och ner i kon-
solbenen.
3. Placera kranen så långt in mot bakre hörnet som möjligt.
Kranen kan placeras på vänster eller höger sida.
Konsolbenen monteras enligt förslag, se illustration.
Kontrollera att kranen kan vridas utan att kåporna tar emot
i bilens inredning.

8. Kranarmen kapas till
Kapa båda rören lika mycket, enligt bild, för rätt höjd.
90-kg kranen har ett separat stödrör som kapas lika mycket som
kranarmen.
OBS! Efterbehandla ändarna så att inga vassa kanter finns på in
och utsida.
9. Linans längd och montering
Om kranarmen har kapats måste även linan kortas motsvarande
mått.
Det gula plaststycket, vid linans inmatningshål, skall för brukaren
indikera maximalt övre läge för lyftanordningen.
Sätt ihop lyftanordningen enligt anvisningar på sidan 27.
Trä in linan i röret och över hjulet i taljan.
Låt linan löpa genom lyftanordningen och in genom hålet i taljan.
Trä plastbrickan på linan och gör en knut enligt illustrationerna.
Återmontera taljan på kranarmen.
Linan måste monteras med plastbrickan
för att få en säker fastsättning.
10. Montera kranarmen
Montera kranarmen i kranarmsfästet och dra åt låsskruvarna.
Kontrollera att rätt mått har uppnåtts genom att vrida kranarmen in
och ut ur bilen.
OBS! Kranarmens låsskruvar får ej dras åt för hårt!
11. Vinkelinställning
Ställ in vinkeln för maximal invridning, i relation till
fönster och paneler, och dra åt de två lås-
skruvarna för vridning.
Återmontera skyddskåporna.

12. El-anslutning
Kranens röda kabel skall anslutas till batteriets
plus-pol, medan den svarta kabeln jordas i närhe-
ten av kranen.
13. Kontroll
Provkör kranen med den avsedda rullstolen några
gånger för att kontrollera att installationen är kor-
rekt utförd.

Make sure the goods has not been damaged
during transport and that the goods are according
to your order. Read the User Instructions for Ca-
rolift and make sure you understand how the hoist
will be operated after the installation.
1. Preparing for installation
Place the vehicle on horizontal ground.
Disconnect minus pole to avoid risk for short circuit.
Lift away the carpet and check the most suitable side for installing the hoist.
Consider fender well, side tool compartment, positon of exhaust system etc.
Spacers might be needed to obtain a horisontal installation for the hoist,
which should be mounted horizontally.
DOCKING DEVICE
All Carolift hoists are delivered with a docking
device, specially designed for different types and
weights of wheelchairs/scooters, according to spe-
cification in the Carolift catalogue.
Instructions on how to assembly the docking de-
vice are found on page 27.

2. Dismount the hoist arm
If the installation requires shortening and/or lowering of hoist arm
this must be dismounted from the motor base.
Dismounting the hoist arm:
1. Unscrew the pulley housing and remove it from the
hoist arm.
2. Remove the hoist arm by loosening the four stop screws
3. Remove the plastic cover.
The plastic cover of Carolift 90 is removed by unscrewing four
plate screws. The cover of Carolift 140 is removed by un-
screwing four plate screws and one M5 screw, nut and hat.
Loosen the two lock screws for rotation
and place the plastic covers back again,
just by hanging them there temporarily.
Check that the lenght of the hoist arm is sufficient for lifting the
mobility device passed rear bumper and short enough to pass
through rear doorway.
Check that rear doors/hatch can be closed.

7. Height of hoist arm
Never cut more from height than
just enough to pass under the top
of door opening.

6. Length of hoist arm
If necessary, the hoist arm is cut,
by length or/and by height.
It must be long enough for lifting
the load behind vehicle bumpers
and short enough to allow pas-
sage through rear door opening.
Bear in mind that the wheelchair
also must run free from bumper
in down-hill slopes.
5. Floor fixings
The hoist shall be fixed at four points
to the floor. Use body washers or flat
iron underneath and on top of the floor,
to divert force from the drilled holes.
The inner fixing point shall be com-
pleted with the spacing tube.
4. Fix the ”legs” to the hoist base.
Decide position of the ”legs”. One of the two legs shall shoot
out through the square holder, towards the outer, rear part of
the vehicle (floor fixing point).
Use the double-stick tape and attach the threaded spacers to
the chosen holes on each ”leg”.
The ”legs” are fixed with countersunk screws in the hoist
base, through the threaded spacers and down in the ”legs”.
3. Place the hoist as far back and out as possible.
Carolift can be placed on either sides of the luggage area.
The ”legs” of the base can be placed optional, see illustration.
Check that the hoist can rotate without interference from
the vehicle interior.

12. Power connection
The red cable of the hoist shall be connected to bat-
tery plus.
Black cable shall be connected to ground near hoist.
13. Check-up
Test run the hoist with the wheelchair a couple of
times to ensure that the installation is properly car-
ried out.
8. Fitting the hoist arm
Cut both hoist arm pipes equally much, according to picture.
NOTE! Give an after treatment of the cut to take away
sharp edges from in- and outside of pipes.
9. Cord
The lenght of the cord shall be shortened correspodingly to how
much the hoist arm has been shortened.
The yellow plastic marker, at the top, is to show the user maximum
position of the lifting device.
Assemble the lifting device according to instructions on page 27.
Thread the cord inside pipe of the hoist arm and over the pulley.
Let it run through the lifting device and in through the cord hole in
the pulley housing. Place the plastic stopper on the cord and tie a
knot, according to illustration.
Mount the pulley housing on the hoist arm.
The plastic stopper must be mounted
on the cord for a safe fixing!
10. Mount the hoist arm
Mount the hoist arm in its attachment on the base and tighten the screws.
NOTE! Do not tighten the screws too much, or you will sqeeze
the attachment.
11. Angle adjustment
Adjust the maximum angle of hoist inside the vehicle,
taking the vehicle interior (windows etc.) into con-
sideration.
Tighten the two locking screws for rotation.
Remount the plastic covers.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass keine Transportschä-
den vorliegen und dass die Ware der Bestellung
entspricht. Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung
für den Carolift durch und vergewissern Sie sich,
dass Sie verstehen, wie der Kran nach der Instal-
lation verwendet wird.
1. Vorbereitungen
Stellen Sie das Fahrzeug auf waagerechten Grund.
Unterbrechen Sie die Verbindung zum Minuspol der Batterie.
Entfernen Sie den Teppich und prüfen Sie, welche Fahrzeugseite für die Kranmontage geeignet ist.
Berücksichtigen Sie dabei die Reserveradmulde, seitliche Werkzeugfächer, Lage des Abgassystems usw.
Falls der Boden nicht waagerecht ist, werden eventuell Abstandshalter zum Ausgleich benötigt. Der Kran
muss waagerecht montiert werden.
HEBEVORRICHTUNG
Die Carolift-Kräne werden mit einer Hebevor-
richtung geliefert, die für eine gewisse Bauart und
Gewichts-klasse von Rollstühlen/Skooter vorgese-
hen ist, ent-sprechend der Spezifikation im Carolift-
Katalog.
Die Montage der Hebevorrichtung ist auf Seite 27
beschrieben.

2. Demontage des Kranarms
Die Demontage des Kranarms ist notwendig, wenn für die
Installation eine Höhen- und/oder Längenpassung des Kran-
arms vorgenommen werden muss.
Demontage des Kranarms:
(1) Schrauben Sie die Rollenhalterung los und lösen
Sie sie vom Kranarm.
(2) Entfernen Sie den Kranarm, indem Sie die vier Stopp-
schrauben lockern.
(3) Entfernen Sie die Schutzabdeckung.
Beim Carolift 90 wird die Schutzabdeckung entfernt, indem
Sie 4 Blechschrauben lösen. Beim Carolift 140 wird die
Schutzabdeckung entfernt, indem Sie 4 Blechschrauben
und eine M5-Schraube mit Gegenmutter und Hut lösen.
Überprüfen Sie, ob die Länge des Kranarms ausreicht, um den Roll-
stuhl am Stoßfänger des Autos vorbeizuheben, und der Arm gleich-
zeitig kurz genug ist, um den Rollstuhl durch die Hecköffnung pas-
sieren zu lassen.
Überprüfen Sie, ob das Schließen der Hecktüren/-klappe möglich ist.
