Create a direct,
involving viewer experience
Get rid of your blue screen virtual environment and create a direct, involving
viewer experience which will allow your “talent” to easily interact with live on-
air content with a minimal or no preparation before going live.
Barco’s backdrop solutions bring on-stage video walls in TV studios to the
quality level needed for interactive use in high-demanding, rich-content
productions. Thanks to their high resolution, superior flexibility and excellent
on-camera performance, Barco’s solutions permit great interactive use and
increase accessibility for the audience.
Rear-screen projection sytem
Barco's rear-screen projection system
for backdrop applications consists of
specifically adapted rear-projection
modules, combined with a high
performance show controller and
allows broadcasters to use the wall as
a high-quality alternative to a
traditional onstage video wall or blue
screen.
This complete backdrop solution is able
to show a multitude of video and
graphical windows and produces
smooth transitions from one display
wall layout into another.

Native ultra-high resolution
The high resolution rear-projection
modules support 3200K color
temperature to match with the studio
lightning, provide excellent on-camera
performance and offer wide viewing
angles for maximum flexibility of
camera positions.
As the display wall can also be used in
normal daylight conditions, it is
possible to switch to 6500K color
temperature.
The high quality projection modules
incorporate dual lamp with hot stand-
by capability and are based on the
latest DLPTM technology.
A built-in second lamp will make you
rely for 100% on the availability of the
iPresent wall when broadcasting live.
