• Milk boles: these should have a cap and should be stored in the shelves on the door.
• Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic must not be kept in the fridge unless packaged.
Energy saving
• Don’t put hot food in the appliance;
• Don’t pack food items close together as this prevents air circulang;
• Make sure food does not touch the back of the compartment(s);
• If the electricity goes o, don’t open the door(s);
• Don’t open the door(s) frequently;
• Don’t keep the door(s) open for too long;
• Don’t set the thermostat to exceedingly cold temperatures;
• Some accessories, such as drawers, can be removed to get larger storage
volume and lower energy consumpon.
2.3. Maintenance
For hygienic reasons, the appliance’s interior, including interior accessories, should be
cleaned regularly.
Cauon! The appliance must not be connected to the mains during cleaning. Danger
of electrical shock! Before cleaning, switch the appliance o and unplug from the
mains, or switch o the circuit breaker, or remove the fuse. Never clean the appliance
with a steam cleaner. Moisture may accumulate in electrical components resulng in
danger of electrical shock! Hot vapor can cause damage to plasc parts. The appliance
must be dry before it is put back into service.
Important! Ethereal oils and organic solvents can aack plasc parts, e.g. lemon juice
or the juice from orange peel, butyric acid, or cleansers that contain acec acid.
• Do not allow such substances to come into contact with appliance parts.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
• Remove any food from the freezer. Store in a cool place and keep well covered.
• Switch the appliance o and unplug from the mains, or switch o the circuit
breaker, or remove the fuse.
• Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with a cloth and lukewarm
water. Aer cleaning, wipe with fresh water and wipe dry.
• Aer everything is dry, the appliance can be put back into service.
Cleaning the drain hole
To avoid defrost water overowing into the fridge,
periodically clean the drain hole at back of fridge
compartment. Use a cleaner to clean the hole as
shown in the picture on the right
Replacing the lamp
The internal light is a LED. To replace it, please contact a qualied technician.
Defrosng the freezer
The freezer compartment, however, will become progressively covered with frost.
This should be removed. Never use sharp metal tools to scrape o frost from the
evaporator as you could damage it.
However, when the ice becomes very thick on the inner liner, complete defrosng
should be carried out as follows:
• unplug the power cord from the socket;
• remove all stored food, wrap it in several layers of newspaper and put it in a
cool place;
• keep the door open, and place a basin underneath the appliance to collect the
melted ice;
• when defrosng is completed, dry the interior thoroughly;
• replace the plug in the power socket to run the appliance again.
2.4. Troubleshooting
Cauon! Before troubleshoong, disconnect the power supply. Only a qualied
electrician or competent technician can perform any troubleshoong that is not
included in this manual.
Important! There will be some noises during normal use (compressor and refrigerant
circulaon).
