Thank you for purchasing BelFone professional radio. We are convinced that the

radio you bought will provide you convenient and reliable communication and

maximize your efficiency.

Note: If you want to use this product for secondary development, please contact BelFone

or local BelFone dealer.

Precautions

Please follow following precautions to prevent fire, personal injury or

damage to the machine:

The recommended usage rate for the radio is less than 1 minute for TX

and less than 4 minutes for RX. Long and continuous TX will result in

heating of the rear panel. Do not allow the rear panel of the radio to

contact surface of a plastic object.

Do not let the radio placed in direct sunlight for a long time or place it

near a heating source.

Do not place the radio in a extremely dusty, moist or splash place, or

on a unstable surface.

If unusual odor or smoke is found, power the radio off. Then contact

your local BelFone dealer.

In no circumstances can the product be modified without

authorization. The company is not liable for any adverse consequence

resulting from unauthorized modification.

Need-To-Know

Warning

Please power off the radio in the following environments:

• Explosive(gaseous, dusty, smoky, etc.) environments;

• When filling up the gas tank or parking in the gas station.

• Do not make the battery port short-circuit or throw the battery into a

fire in case of explosion.

•Do not try to take off the battery casing.

•Do not install the battery in fire and explosion-pron environment in case

of spark-caused explosion.

Antenna Strap Belt Clip Battery Charger

Getting Start

Attaching the Antenna

Turn the antenna clockwise to fasten it.

To remove the antenna, rotate it counter-clockwise.

Attaching the Belt Clip

Use screws to tighten Belt Clip with the radio.

To remove the belt clip, loosen the screws.

Attaching the Strap

Fasten Strap on the radio.

Attaching the Battery

1. Insert the battery into bottom of the radio.

2. Slightly press the top of the battery until a clip is heard.

To remove the battery the battery, turn off the radio first. Slide the battery latch downwards to

unlock the battery.

Installing SIM card

1. Push the battery release button, Remove the battery from the radio.

2. Gently slide the SIM card cover and open it.

3. Put SIM card into the slot, and the golden contact area on the card is downward.

4. Close the SIM card cover and slide it back.

Charging the battery

Use only the charger and battery specified by BelFone.

1. Connect the charger to radio’s Mini USB interface

2. Plug the charger to AC source.

3. The charging process initiates when charger LED glows yellow, and is complete when LED glows

green.

Other Charger to choose:

Attaching Earphone accessory

1. Open the accessory jack cover.

2. Plug earphone to the accessory jack.

Control Buttons

Warning: The screen should be face up while operating device.

1. Power On/Off & Volume

Short Press: Individual Contacts

Long Press: Group Contacts

3. WI-FI Switch/Voice Recording Download

Short Press: WI-FI On/Off

Long Press: Voice Recording Download & play

Wi-Fi support WEP & WPA2 encryption types.

WLAN Network

The WLAN feature provides Internet access over WLAN network.

To connect to a WLAN network, do as follows:

1. Preset WI-FI name and password by programming software.

2. Check whether WLAN is on. If yes, wait for it to connect Wi-Fi. If no, press Wi-Fi switch

button to turn it on. When WLAN is turned on, the radio automatically scans for available

networks and displays them.

4. Simplex /Duplex Mode

Short Press: Simplex mode (Individual Call Mode)

Long Press: Duplex Mode

5. LED Indicator

* Orange LED is always on when radio turns on

* Orange LED flashes up after registering to network

* Red LED flashes up: SIM card is not activated or in arrearage. Radio can’t register to network.

* Red LED always on:

1. No SIM card or wrong installation. Voice prompts SIM card read unsuccessfully.

2. The radio hasn’t been added to the server.

3. The radio has been added to the server, but Group switch don’t work.

4. PIN of SIM card is wrong. Voice prompts Wrong PIN.

* Green LED slowly flashes: Register successfully, Radio is in Group Call standby state

* Green LED always on: Radios is calling or downloading/playing Call Logs.

* Yellow LED always on: Radio is in Individual Call standby state.

Basic Operations

Turning the Radio On/Off

Rotate the Radio On-Off/Volume Control knob clockwise/counter-clockwise until a click is heard

to turn the radio on/off.

Adjusting the Volume

After turning the radio on, rotate the Radio On-Off/Volume Control knob clockwise to increase

the volume, or counter-clockwise to decrease the volume.

Locking/Unlocking the keypad

To prevent wrong operation, the keypad will automatically lock or lock by # key when the keypad

is not used.

In the main interface, long press # key for a few seconds to lock/unlock the keypad.

Call

To transmit, please hold the radio approximately 3 to 4 centimeters away from your mouth.

Individual Call

Transmitting a Individual Call

There are two ways:

1. Manual Dial

In standby mode, Press * key , input Individual Call number, then press PTT to talk.

2. Address Book

In standby mode, Press Menu key, enter Address Book >> Friends. Select the preset number from

the Address Book, then press PTT to talk.

If the Individual Call target is offline, it prompts Destination Offline.
