FAST TEA BREWING FUNCTION
Automatic basket lifting and dipping in the course of tea brewing allow water
tocirculate, increasing brewing speed and degree.
TEMPERATURE AND BREWING DEGREE SETTING
Electronic control allows determination of a brewing degree and brewing
temperature and provides an opportunity to experiment with all sorts of tea,
achieving different shades of taste.

AUTOMATIC / MANUAL TEMPERATURE
AND BREWING DEGREE CONTROL
Three presets for the right choice of a tea brewing mode – strong, medium
andmild, five temperature modes and possibility of manual programming
forbrewing time and temperature allow getting of the perfect taste of a drink,
considering the degree of tea leaves grinding, freshness and tea grade.
DELAYED START FUNCTION
The kettle is turned on automatically at a convenient time thanks to the provided
timer.
TEMPERATURE KEEPING FUNCTION
The kettle maintains the set temperature for an hour after shutdown.

INDICATION OF TIME AND BREWING TEMPERATURE
An electronic sensor provides control of heating, brewing time and water
temperature. Temperature sensor indications are displayed in the real time mode,
allowing control of the process of tea brewing and water heating.
In order to convert degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit hold "Type of tea" and "Brewing
degree" buttons for 2 seconds simultaneously.

The process of tea brewing is a fascinating spectacle. A heat-resistant
glass enclosure allows easy visual inspection of the brewing procces
andwillbeappreciated by true tea connoisseurs.
MEMORY FUNCTION
At the end of tea brewing and water heating cycles determined individual settings
remain in the kettle memory even after its disconnection from mains.
SAFETY AND RELIABILITY
Absolute safety is guaranteed by an automatic shutdown taking place in case
ofoverheating or lack of water. Protection of the kettle base from moisture
isalsoavailable.

BOILING OF WATER
• Press the HOT WATER / CANCEL button in order
to heat some water.
• The display shows current temperature TEMP
andkettle operation indicator ON in the course
ofthe water heating.
• After completion of the water heating process
the kettle will issue 3 beeps and the display
willautomatically display the 60 minutes
countdown TIME SINCE BREW.
TEA BREWING
Select the desired temperature mode:
• Green – green tea
• Black – black tea
• White – white tea
• Herbal – herbal tea
• Oolong – oolong
The display will show brewing temperature
readings BREW TEMP. The display will also
provide brewing time indication BREW TIME.
Set the brewing degree:
• Strong – strong
• Mild – mild
• Medium – medium, average
• The display also shows brewing time indication
BREW TIME.
• Press the TEA / CANCEL button in order to start
the brewing process.
• The display will show the countdown BREW TIME
in the course of the tea brewing process.
• After completion of the brewing process the kettle
will issue 3 beeps and the display will automatically
display the 60 minutes countdown TIME SINCE
BREW.
The brewing process begins only when
thesettemperature is reached.
Individual settings for tea brewing – Custom
• Use buttons and to enter the required
brewing temperature BREW TEMP in the range
of 50-100°C,set the brewing BREW TIME
to10minutes and press the TEA / CANCEL
button.
• The manual control mode will be turned on when
choosing the tea brewing time of more than
10minutes and the display will show «––:––»
aswell as manual controls indication MANUAL
LIFT.
• Press and hold the BASKET button for 2 seconds
in order to lift the basket.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
Delayed start function – AUTO START
Apply in order to program the kettle for turning
onin the period of time convenient for you,
provide brewing settings: tea type and brewing
degree. Press and hold the AUTO START button
for2 seconds.
If you want to boil water to a certain moment
of time, then you shall not enter settings for tea
brewing.
• Use buttons and to enter the current time
(CURRENT TIME) and kettle turning on time
(START TIME). Select the desired operating mode:
water boiling HOT WATER / CANCEL or tea
brewing TEA / CANCEL.
The kettle displays time in the 12-hour format:
• AM – time to noon; PM – afternoon time.

Function of maintaining the desired
temperature – KEEP WARM
You can activate the function before and during
cycle performance or wait until completion
ofthetea brewing cycle or the water boiling cycle
andpress the KEEP WARM button.
The process oftemperature keeping can last up
to 60 minutes within the range of temperature
of70–80
°C.
The function will not be activated if the water
temperature is below 50
°C.
Fast tea brewing function – BASKET
• Press the BASKET button. The display will show
the fast brewing function BASKET CYCLE.
• The basket goes up and down automatically during
the brewing cycle.
• The second pressing of the BASKET button
inthebrewing cycle turns the function off
andthebasket is fixed in the lower position up to
expiration of the brewing time.
Manual control of the basket
• Press and hold the BASKET button for 2 seconds.
• The basket will be taken down and locked in such
position.
• Press and hold the BASKET button in order to raise
the basket to its original position.
RETURN TO THE FACTORY SETTINGS
The kettle control unit saves all previously applied
settings after disconnection from mains In order
to return all changed kettle parameters to their
original state – simultaneously press andhold
buttons AUTO START and KEEP WARM
for2 seconds.
STANDBY MODE
If a user does not launch any operations
onthekettle within the period of 3 minutes,
itisautomatically transferred to the standby
mode. In this mode all display lights are turned
off. Inorder to bring the kettlle out of the standby
mode, perform any of two procedures:
• remove and put the kettle to the base;
• press any button other than HOT WATER /
CANCEL.
ERROR MESSAGES
RESET – flashing indicator, power failure
message. Disconnect the kettle from the power
supply and it turn on again in 5 seconds.
ERROR — flashing indicator, operation error
message. Refer to the authorized BORK service
centre.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Water quality affects the taste of drinks.
Use only filtered water in order to obtain a good
result.
• Do not leave brewed tea in the bowl at night.
• The crushed tea is cooked faster and stronger
incomparison with the leaf-type. In ordertoavoid
excessive strength and hard taste, adjust
thecooking time depending on the degree of tea
leaf grinding.

andnecessary for human health. In recent years
a passion for a good cup of tea has become thesame
attribute of a refined taste, as well as the choice
offine art, fine wines, designer furniture.
Fortunately for us, tea can be both a luxury element
and democratic good-quality product which
isappropriate for use in everyday life.
Green, yellow and jasmine tea can not stand high
temperatures since essential components quickly
burn in the boiling water. The taste is best disclosed
ata temperature value of about 80
°C.
The best varieties of white tea are made from buds
oftea trees, covered with natural fluff.
Therefore the white tea is treated carefully
andbrewed at the water temperature not exceeding
85
°C.
