Inner Finisher-D1 Installation Procedure

Follow the instructions herein when installing the equipment to its host machine.

Cautions at the Installation
1. Check that the main power switch is OFF.
1) Turn OFF the main power switch of the host machine.
2) Be sure that Control Panel Display and Main Power Lamp are both turned OFF, and then
disconnect the power plug.

NOTE:
• When installing the Additional Tray-A1 at the same time, install it in the inner nisher
prior to the installation of the Inner Finisher-D1. For the additional tray installation, refer
to the installation procedure contained in the Additional Tray-A1 carton.
• When installing the USB Device Port-D1 at the same time, install it in the host machine
prior to the installation of the Inner Finisher-D1. For the USB device port, refer to the
installation procedure contained in the USB Device Port-D1 carton.

1. Unterbrechen der Netzversorgung
1) Schalten Sie den Netzschalter der Hostmaschine aus.
2) Überzeugen Sie sich zunächst, dass sowohl das Display auf dem Bedienfeld als auch die
Netzstrom-Kontrolleuchte erloschen sind, und ziehen Sie dann den Netzstecker.

Checks before Installation
Checking the Installation Space
Requirements for the installation place are given below.
It is recommended to look over the place to be used for installation before delivering the
equipment to the user.
The minimum space required for installation and maintenance is shown below.
500 mm or more

Setting Up of Inner Finisher
Tool case, packing material, etc.
NOTE:
It is good for the preparation to place a packing material, etc. under the inner nisher
and hold it horizontal.

Installation Procedure
Installation Procedure
1) Hold the positions shown in the gure and take out the nisher from the carton.
CAUTION:
Hold the positions specied by the instruction labels or the unit may break.

2) Remove the metal xtures, all the shipping tapes and the cushioning materials. (Removed
screws are no longer reused.)
CAUTION:
The following order must be upheld:
1) Remove 3 screws to detach the 2 xtures.
2) Remove the upper packing material.
3) Remove the lower packing material.

3) Open the front cover and the right cover.
4) Remove the delivery guide.
• 1 screw (Save the removed screw for later use. )

5) Remove the support cover.
• 2 screws
• 2 hooks

6) Remove the support cover (Left).
• 3 hooks
7) Cut out the upper part of left cover using the side cutter.

8) Remove the Inner 2Way Tray-H1. (The Inner 2Way Tray-H1 is no longer reused.)

9) Remove the reversal guide.
NOTE:
• Remove the reversal guide while holding up part "A".
• Removed reversal guide is no longer reused.

10) Open the toner supply cover.

11) Remove the link cover.
• 1 hook

13) Manipulate the left cover to remove the inner cover.
• 1 screw

14) Remove the delivery rear cover (upper/lower). (Removed parts are no longer reused.)
• 1 screw (Save the removed screw for later use. )
15) Remove the delivery tray. (Removed parts are no longer reused.)
• 1 screw (Save the removed screw for later use. )

16) Detach the delivery tray positioning guide. (The guide is no longer reused.)
• 1 screw (Save the removed screw for later use. )

17) Remove the lower sensor ag. (Removed part is no longer reused.)
