Bluetooth Connection
• Download the Chi-BBQ App by scan the QR code
• Make sure the bluetooth of your smart phone has been
turned on
• Open the Chi-BBQ app, then click “searching devices”
• Connect the device named “BBQ 100”
• Choose one probe, then tap the icon of settings
• Click “start” when the settings are completed
• Waiting for the alarm
When reaches the target temperature or time out, beep
sound and screen ashing will be activated on CHILEAF,
as well as the sound & vibration on Chi-BBQ app.

FAQ
1. Android or IOS connection failed.
1) Check the bluetooth status. Hold “+” for 2sec. to
conrm the status when there is no bluetooth connection
within 3.3 ft (1 meter).
2). The thermometer only allows one device to connect
for once. If you want to connect with another phone,
please go to Chi-BBQ and click “unpair” to disconnect
from the current phone.
3) Some Andriod phones cannot connect the BBQ
successfully. Then you need to go to the setting
interface in the mobile phone, open the application
management, find CHI-BBQ, open the GPS function,
then connect the phone again.
2. Does CHILEAF thermometer have the low temperature
alarm?
No, only have the low temperate setting: 100°F/38°C
3. Does CHILEAF thermometer have the high temperature
alarm?
Yes, when the temperature is higher than 280 °C, the
product will continue to alarm, then the probe needs
to be taken away from the high temperature place,
and the device will release the over-temperature alarm
automatically.
4. Is it still working without app?
Yes, it can be used alone.
5. What is the power supply of this wireless thermometer?
As the power supply, three AAA batteries should
be installed in thermometer when first use. Your
thermometer will remind you via the low battery indicator
on its screen.
6. How to convert temperature units (°C/°F) and Celsius?
1) Lift the cover of battery slot, you can see a switch
button on the left side.
2) Connect the APP, and switch the temperate in the
APP settings.
7. Without inserting the probes, whether the thermometer
can still connect with the app?
Yes, but the mode settings are not available.
8. Is it waterproof?
Yes, it rated IPX3. The contact heads of probes can be
cleaned by water. If the body wet, dry with a soft cloth.
9. The BBQ has three modes for the user to select, meat
mode, temperature mode and time mode. The user can
select the mode within the product or select the mode
via the APP.
a. Product selection mode: Touch the “MODE” button
once and the display will show a mode.
1) Meat mode: Touch the “MODE” button for 2 seconds
to enter into the meat selection mode. Select the meat
by “+” or “-” button, touch the “MODE” button to conrm,
and enter the meat selection degree, using “+"Or "-"
button to select the maturity, touch "MODE" to conrm.
After setting, touch the “START/STOP” button to turn on
the timekeeping mode.
2) Temperature mode: Touch the “MODE” button for 2
seconds to enter into the temperature setting mode. Use
the “+” or “-” button to select the temperature range and
touch the “MODE” button to conrm. After setting, touch
the “START/STOP” button to turn on the timing. mode.

3) Time mode: Touch the “MODE” button to enter into
the minute setting mode, select the minute range by
“+” or “-” button, touch the time to enter into the second
setting mode, and select the second range by “+” or “-”
button. After setting, touch the “START/STOP” button
to turn on the countdown mode. (countdown time range
99min 59sec)
10. APP setting mode
a. In the APP channel display interface, select any
channel to enter, click Edit to enter into the setting mode.
1) Prole mode: Select any meat in the Select meat type,
then select the cooking degree in the Select doneness
level. After selecting it, click “Save” to start.
2) Temperature mode, select the cooking temperature
under Set target cooking temperature, click “Save” to
start. (temperature range 100°F/38°C~464°F/240°C)
3) Timer mode: Select the countdown time under Set
countdown timer and click “Save” to start. (countdown
time range 99min 59sec)
