QUICKSTART GUIDE

BONNET
- To release the bonnet, the front passenger door needs to be opened. Then the lever can be seen at
the bottom left of the passenger footwell.
- Remember to check the coolant, oil, screen wash and battery levels frequently.
- Please note, if the bonnet fails to close at first attempt, DO NOT push the bonnet closed (which could
damage it). Re-open and release from a greater height.

1THE KEYS TO YOUR CAR
- There are three buttons on the fob, which release the metal key, lock and unlock the car.
- The locking button (B) also has some additional features:
- Deadlocking the car – disconnects the door handles both on the outside and inside as a
security measure.
- Guide Me Home Lights – the headlights remain on for a short time, to help at night.
- ‘Find Me’ function – The indicators flash for 10 seconds for locating the car in a busy car park.

FUEL FLAP
- The tank capacity is 50 litres.
- During the filling of the tank, the filler cap can be hung on the hook on the inside of the flap.

TYRES
- The recommended tyre pressures are indicated on a label on the inside of the front passenger’s
door frame.

ROOF BARS
- The roof bars are standard on the Exclusive model, but are also available as an accessory. They can
carry a maximum of 60kg when the transverse bars are added.

PARCEL SHELF
- The shelf can be removed, folded and stored under the boot floor when it is the upper position.

TORCH (ON EXCLUSIVE MODEL)
- The boot light, can also be used as a torch which lasts up to 45 minutes using the
rechargeable batteries.
- Automatically recharges whilst driving with the torch in its housing.
- There is an additional bracket (A) on the torch, which allows the torch to be propped up whilst on the
ground, lighting up the wheel bolts when changing a wheel at night.

SPACEBOX STORAGE SYSTEM
- The boot floor can be moved into two positions, lower and upper. Either to maximise the boot space
(lower), or to provide a flat load floor (upper).

BOOT FLAPS
- The Flaps (B) are used to bridge the gap when the rear seats are either in their forward most position or
folded down, providing a flat load floor, when the boot floor is in the upper position.
- If necessary, the flaps can be unclipped and removed.

SPARE WHEEL
- The spare wheel is stored under the boot mat.
- This is a ‘space-saver’ spare wheel. It is intended as a temporary measure and should not be used at
speeds in excess of 50mph.
- The use of ‘space-savers’ saves weight, which reduces CO2and fuel consumption.

FOLDING REAR SEATS
- The rear seats can be folded down at any point along the 150mm of forward and back adjustment.
- Even if the seats are at the forward-most position, there is no need to adjust the front seats or slide the
rear seats back. The rear seats have a release mechanism which will automatically slide the seats back
when folding them down.
- Please note, do not leave any objects on or under the seat when folding the seat.

RECLINING THE REAR SEAT BACKS
- The seat back angle is adjustable to three different positions.
- There are two levers on each seat, which can be used for this adjustment.

REAR CENTRE SEAT BELT
- The car is fitted with a third rear central seat belt which is roof-mounted and held in place magnetically.
- There are two buckles which are slightly different sizes and two stalks on the seats which are different
colours and sizes to aid distinction, allowing for correct installation.

REAR SIDE SEAT BELT LOOPS
- The rear outer seat belts are fitted with loops which stop them being trapped when repositioning
the seat.
- They keep the buckle at the upper most position in readiness for the next passenger.

SPACE BOX+ STORAGE SYSTEM (ON EXCLUSIVE MODEL)
(Not available with part leather interior trim)
SKI FLAP – Can only be opened from the rear seats by lowering the storage tray (arm rest) in the middle
of the rear seats and unclipping the flap at the top.
REAR WINDOW BLINDS – Are stored in the front part of the rear windows and need pulling backwards
to close them. Always guide the blind using the tab, both when opening and closing.
AIRCRAFT STYLE REAR TABLES – Be careful not to put too much pressure or weight onto the tables.
The reading light can be switched on and off independently, but only with the ignition on.
UNDERFLOOR COMPARTMENTS – There are two storage boxes under the footwell of the
rear passengers.

PANORAMIC GLASS SUNROOF SHUTTERS (OPTION)
- Always guide the blinds completely open, DO NOT let them go when opening as this can
cause damage.

FRONT PASSENGER SEAT FOLDING (ON EXCLUSIVE MODEL)
(Not available with part leather interior trim)
- The front seat folds down by lifting the lever at the top of the seat back on the door side.

DRIVER CONTROLS
- Before you drive your car, make sure you are fully aware of all the main controls needed whilst driving.

DRIVER’S SEAT ADJUSTMENTS
- There are several different adjustments
which can be made to the driver’s seat,
allowing for the most comfortable position.

STEERING WHEEL HEIGHT & REACH
- The steering wheel is adjustable for both the height and reach. The adjuster is on the bottom left of the
steering wheel.

AUTOMATIC RAIN SENSITIVE WINDSCREEN WIPERS
(OPTION ON VTR+ & STANDARD ON EXCLUSIVE)
- To activate this function push down on the windscreen wiper stalk.
