Safety
• The product should not be taken apart or modified. Certainexposed parts inside
thecasing carry dangerous current. Touchingthese can lead to fire or electric shock.
• The product is intended for indoor use only.
• Never subject theproduct to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts,
humidity or moisture.
• Do not place theproduct where there is arisk of it falling into water or other liquid.
Donot place any objects containing liquid on theproduct, e.g. flower vases or drinks.
• Disconnect thedevice from thepower supply by unplugging it from thewall socket.
Theproduct’s plug should be easily accessible.
• The on/off switch only switches thedevice into standby power mode and does not
totally cut off current from themains.
• Protect your hearing. Listeningto theplayer on high volume for prolonged periods
can lead to permanent hearing loss.

Operation
• Plug themains adaptor into awall socket and then into thesocket (13) on
theback of theunit.
• Insert 4 x AA/LR6 batteries into thebattery compartment. Thebatteries
only work as abackup for theclock and thealarm if it is activated. Ifthere is
apower cut, theclock will run off thebatteries and alarm setting will not be lost.
Whenthepower comes back on, thealarm will still be active and theclock will
show theright time.
• Note: If, however, there is still apower cut when thealarm is due to go off,
thealarm will not go off.
Radio
1. Press [ POWER ] to turn theunit on.
2. Press [ FUNCTION ] and select TUNER.
Manual channel search
Press [ |◄◄ ] or [ ►►| ] to increase or decrease thefrequency.
Automatic channel search
1. Hold in [ |◄◄ ] or [ ►►| ] for at least 2 seconds to automatically search for
astation on ahigher or lower frequency.
2. The appliance stops at thefirst station it finds.
3. Hold in [ |◄◄ ] or [ ►►| ] for at least 2 seconds once again to search for
anotherstation.
Saving radio stations in thememory
20 stations can be preset.
1. Search for astation as described above, manually or automatically.
2. Hold in [ MEM/SET ] until “P 01” (preset slot 1) flashes on thedisplay.
Changeto another preset slot using [ |◄◄ ] or [ ►►| ] if desired.
3. Press [ MEM/SET ] again to set thestation.
4. Browse thepreset stations by pressing or holding in [ MEM+ ].
iPod/iPhone
1. Press [ FUNCTION ] and select IPHONE.
2. Place an iPod/iPhone in thedock; use theplastic holder which came with your
iPod/iPhone when you bought it. Note: Be careful not to damage your iPod/
iPhone or thedock during thedocking process.
3. Your iPod/iPhone can now be controlled using thebuttons on thefront of theunit,
as described above.

Repeat and Random functions cannot be controlled via theunit; they can only be
controlled using thebuttons on your iPod/iPhone.
As long as theunit is plugged in to awall socket, it will charge your iPod/iPhone
no matter which function you are using.
Aux
1. Press [ FUNCTION ] and select AUX.
2. Connect an external audio device to the3.5 mm stereo jack.
Set theclock
1. Press [ POWER ] to place theunit in standby mode.
2. Press [ MEM/SET ] for at least 2 seconds, thehours will flash.
3. Press [ |◄◄ ] or [ ►►| ] to set thehours.
4. Press [ MEM/SET ], theminutes will flash.
5. Press [ |◄◄ ] or [ ►►| ] to set theminutes.
6. Press [ MEM/SET ] once again briefly to finish.
Alarm
1. Press [ POWER ] to place theunit in standby mode.
2. Press [ SLEEP/AL ] for at least 2 seconds, thehours and aclock symbol will flash
on thedisplay. Thealarm symbol will also appear on thedisplay.
3. Press [ |◄◄ ] or [ ►►| ] to set thehours.
4. Press [ SLEEP/AL ], theminutes will flash.
5. Press [ |◄◄ ] or [ ►►| ] to set theminutes.
6. Press [ SLEEP/AL ] quickly, the alarm function symbol will flash.
7. Press [ |◄◄ ] or [ ►►| ] to select the alarm function as a signal, radio (aerial
symbol) or iPhone (iPhone symbol).
8. Press [ SLEEP/AL ]. Thetime will be displayed and aclock symbol in thetop left
corner indicates that thealarm is activated.
9. To check thealarm time, press [ SLEEP/AL ]. Pushit once again to show thecurrent time.
10. To activate or deactivate thealarm, press [ SLEEP/AL ] twice in quick succession.
Snooze
• Press [ SNOOZE ] to temporarily turn off thealarm when it sounds.
• The alarm will sound again after 9 minutes.
• To turn thealarm off completely, press [ POWER ].
Display lighting
To turn thedisplay lighting on/off, press [ SNOOZE ].
Sleep timer
With theunit switched on, press [ SLEEP/AL ] to select thesleep time:
120, 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes.

Care and maintenance
• Do not subject theappliance to excessive force, shock, dust or extreme temperature.
• Do not tamper with or modify theappliance in any way.
• Use adamp cloth to clean theouter casing. Neveruse solvents or corrosive
cleaning products.
• Keep theappliance away from sources of electrical noise.
Troubleshooting guide
The unit will not
switch on.
• Make sure themains adaptor is properly
connected to both theunit and thewall socket.
• Make sure that thewall socket is live/switched on
and that theadaptor or cable is not damaged.
No sound from
connected iPod/iPhone.
• Check thevolume.
• Make sure that your iPhone/iPod is properly
connected to thedock.
No sound from
connected external device.
• Check thevolume.
• Make sure that thedevice is properly connected
to theAUX IN jack.
• Make sure that theconnected external device is
turned on and in play mode.
Disposal
Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product.

Användning
• Anslut nätadaptern till ettvägguttag och till anslutningen (13) på apparatens baksida.
• Sätt i4 x AA/LR6-batterier ibatterihållaren. Batteriernafungerar enbart som
backup till klocka och ev. aktiverat larm. Vidströmavbrott går klockan på batteri
och larmtiden behålls iminnet. Närströmmen kommer tillbaka är larmet fortfarande
aktivt och klockan håller tiden.
• Obs! Omdet fortfarande är strömavbrott när larmet ska aktiveras så larmar
inteapparaten.
Radio
1. Tryck [ POWER ] för att slå på apparaten.
2. Tryck [ FUNCTION ] och välj TUNER.
Manuell kanalsökning
Tryck [ |◄◄ ] eller [ ►►| ] för att stega upp eller ner ifrekvensområdet.
Automatisk kanalsökning
1. Håll in [ |◄◄ ] eller [ ►►| ] imer än 2 sekunder för att automatiskt söka upp eller
ner ifrekvensområdet.
2. Apparaten stannar på den första stationen den hittar.
3. Håll in [ |◄◄ ] eller [ ►►| ] imer än 2 sekunder igen för att fortsätta söka.
Spara radiokanaler iminnet
20 kanaler kan sparas iminnet.
1. Sök upp den radiostation som ska sparas på det sätt som beskrivits ovan,
manuellt eller automatiskt.
2. Håll in [ MEM/SET ] tills ”P 01” (lagringsplats 1) blinkar idisplayen. Byttill annan
lagringsplats med [ |◄◄ ] eller [ ►►| ] om så önskas.
3. Tryck [ MEM/SET ] igen för att spara stationen.
4. Flytta mellan de sparade stationerna genom att trycka kort, eller hålla in [ MEM+ ].
iPod/iPhone
1. Tryck [ FUNCTION ] och välj IPHONE.
2. Anslut eniPod/iPhone till dockan, använd den plasthållare som ev. följde med din
iPod/iPhone vid köpet. Obs! Varförsiktig när du ansluter din iPod/iPhone så att
inte den eller dockan skadas.
3. Styr din iPod/iPhone med knapparna på apparatens framsida på det sätt som
beskrivits ovan.
