Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and save it
for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technical data. If you have any questions regarding
technical problems please contact our Customer Services.
Safety
• The product should not be taken apart or modified. Certain exposed parts inside
theclock radio’s casing carry dangerous current. Contact with these can lead to
fire or electric shock.
• The clock radio is for indoor useonly.
• Never subject theclock radio to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts,
humidity or moisture.
• Do not place theclock radio where there is arisk of it falling into water or
otherliquid.
• Disconnect theproduct from thepower supply by unplugging themains adaptor
from thewall socket. Theproduct’s mains adaptor should be easily accessible.
• The on/off switch only switches thedevice into standby power mode and does not
totally cut off current from themains.
• Protect your hearing. Listening to thespeaker dock on high volume for prolonged
periods can lead to permanent hearing loss.

Operating instructions
Backup batteries
Note: Backupbatteries maintain time and radio station settings during apower cut
or if theclock radio is temporarily disconnected from theelectrical network. TheLCD
display will be off and no settings or entries can be registered when theclock radio is
run solely off thebatteries.
1. Open theclock radio’s battery compartment and insert 2×AAA/LR03 batteries
(sold separately). Notethepolarity markings in thebattery compartment to ensure
correct insertion.

Turning theclock radio on/off
1. Plug themains adaptor into awall socket and then into theclock radio’s power
socket (11).
2. Set the[OFF/ON] (10) switch to theON position. Thedisplay will come on after
afew seconds with alow backlight level (standby mode).
3. Press [POWER/MODE]. Thedisplay will light and theclock radio will then come on
in radiomode.
4. Hold in [POWER/MODE] until thedisplay turns off and goes back into standby mode.
Setting theclock
1. In standby mode (low level backlit display) press [MENU/ ■►ll ]. Thehours
display will begin flashing.
2. Press [▼][ ▲] to set thehours.
3. Press [MENU/ ■►ll ] again. Theminutes display will begin flashing.
4. Press [▼][ ▲] to set theminutes. Ifno button is pressed within 5 seconds,
allsettings will be saved and theclock radio will return to standby mode.
Note: When your iPod/iPhone is connected to the clock radio the time will synchronize
automatically.
Setting thealarm
Alarm1
1. In standby mode (low level backlit display) press [VOL– ]. “BUZZER” (audio signal)
flashes in thedisplay.
2. Press [▼][ ▲] to select thetype of alarm, BUZZER, RADIO or iPod/iPhone.
3. Press [VOL– ] again. Thehours display will begin toflash.
4. Press [▼][ ▲] to set thehours.
5. Press [VOL– ] again. Theminutes display will begin toflash.
6. Press [▼][ ▲] to set theminutes. Ifno button is pressed within 5 seconds,
allsettings will be saved and alarm 1 will be activated.
Alarm2
In standby mode (low level backlit display) press [VOL+ ]. “BUZZER” (audio signal)
flashes in thedisplay. Usethesame procedure for inputting settings as described
above for alarm1.
Shutting off thealarm/snooze
• To deactivate alarms 1 and 2 when in standby mode press [VOL- ] or [ VOL+ ]
respectively.
• To put alarm 1 or 2 into snooze when it sounds: Press [Snooze ] (9 min snooze).
Thesnooze function can be re-activated repeatedly within a1-hour time frame
after which it will automatically deactivate and shut off for thatday.
• To stop thealarm sounding once it has been triggered, press [POWER/MODE].
Thealarm will then sound again after 24hours.

iPhone/iPod playback
1. Press [POWER/MODE ] until theiPod/iPhone symbol appears in thedisplay.
2. Connect your device securely into theLightning dock. Playback will start
automatically. Yourdevice will also charge while connected to theLightning dock.
3. Control playback using thebuttons on theclock radio or from your device itself.
AUX IN playback
1. Press [POWER/MODE ] until “AUX” appears in thedisplay.
2. Connect thedevice to the“AUX IN” jack (12) on theclock radio’s backpanel.
3. Set thedesired volume levels both on your device and theclock radio.
Controlother playback settings from theexternal device.
Radio
1. Make sure theFM aerial is extended to its full length.
2. Press [POWER/MODE ] until “RADIO” appears in thedisplay.
3. Press [▼][ ▲] to set thedesired station frequency.
4. Hold in and release [▼][ ▲] to automatically detect thenext station.
Saving preset stations
10 stations can besaved.
1. Set thedesired station frequency.
2. Hold in [MENU/ ■►ll] until “ch” and anumber (preset slot) flashes in thedisplay.
3. Press[▼][ ▲] to select apreset.
4. Press [MENU/ ■►ll ] to save thestation to thepreset slot.
5. Repeat theabove procedure to save additional stations.
Listening to preset radio stations
1. In radio mode, press [MENU/ ■►ll ] until thepreset slot number appears.
2. Press[▼][ ▲] to select apreset.
3. Press [MENU/ ■►ll ] to listen to thechosen preset.
Sleeptimer
1. In iPod/iPhone or radio mode, press [Snooze ] to select asleep timer setting:
90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 or 0 minutes. Allyour input settings will
automatically be saved If no button is pressed for 5 seconds.
2. The sleep timer will automatically turn theclock radio off after thesettime.
3. To turn off thesleep timer function, press [Snooze ] until 0 minutes appears in
thedisplay.

Care and maintenance
Clean theproduct using alightly moistened cloth.
Onlyuse mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Troubleshooting guide
The clock radio will
not switch on.
• Check that themains adaptor is securely connected
to both theclock radio and wall socket.
• Check that thewall socket islive.
• Check that themains adaptor and its cable is not
damaged in anyway.
Nosound. • Check thevolume level on both theclock radio and
theconnected device.
• Make sure that theright source is selected e.g. that
theiPhone/iPod symbol shows when you play music
from your iPhone/iPod.
• Make sure that you have not activated thepause
function on theclock radio, iPhone/iPod or on any
connected external device.
• Test theplayback from your external device before
connecting it.
Poor radio reception. • Try adjusting theaerial or move theradio to another
location if reception isbad.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

Användning
Backupbatterier
Obs! Backupbatterierna behåller tidsinställningen och lagrade radiostationer vid
strömavbrott eller om klockradion tillfälligt kopplas bort från elnätet. LCD-displayen
stängs av och inga inställningar eller knapptryckningar kan utföras när klockradion
drivs av batterierna.
1. Öppna batteriluckan på klockradions undersida och sätt i2×AAA/LR03-batterier
(säljs separat). Semärkningen ibotten på batterihållaren så att polariteten blirrätt.
2. Sätt tillbaka batteriluckan.

Slå på och av klockradion
1. Anslut batterieliminatorn till ettvägguttag och till dess anslutning (11) på
klockradion.
2. Ställ [OFF/ON] (10) iläge ON, displayen tänds efter några sekunder och lyser med
svagt sken (standbyläge).
3. Tryck [ POWER/MODE ], displayen tänds och klockradion slås på iradioläge.
4. Håll in [POWER/MODE] tills displayen släcks för att åter ställa klockradion
istandbyläge.
Tidsinställning
1. I standbyläge (displayen lyser med svagt sken) tryck [MENU/ ■►ll],
timmarnablinkar.
2. Tryck [ ▼][ ▲] för att ställa in timmarna.
3. Tryck [ MENU/ ■►ll ] igen, minuterna blinkar.
4. Tryck [ ▼][ ▲] för att ställa in minuterna. Ominga knappar trycks in inom
5sekunder sparas inställningarna och klockradion återgår till standbyläge.
Obs! När du anslutar din iPod/iPhone till klockradion kommer tiden att synkroniseras
automatiskt.
Alarminställning
Alarm1
1. I standbyläge (displayen lyser med svagt sken) tryck [VOL–]. ”BUZZER” (ljudsignal)
blinkar idisplayen.
2. Tryck [ ▼][ ▲] för att välja att väckas av BUZZER, RADIO, eller iPod/iPhone.
3. Tryck [ VOL– ] igen, timmarna blinkar.
4. Tryck [ ▼][ ▲] för att ställa in timmarna.
5. Tryck [ VOL– ] igen, minuterna blinkar.
6. Tryck [ ▼][ ▲] för att ställa in minuterna. Ominga knappar trycks in inom
5sekunder sparas inställningarna och alarm 1 aktiveras.
Alarm2
I standbyläge (displayen lyser med svagt sken) tryck [VOL+], ”BUZZER” (ljudsignal)
blinkar idisplayen. Ställiövrigt in på samma sätt som för alarm1.
Stänga av alarm/snoozefunktion
• För att stänga av alarm 1 och 2 när det är aktiverat tryck (i standbyläge) [VOL−]
respektive [VOL+ ].
• För att stänga av alarm 1 och 2 när de ljuder: tryck[Snooze] för att tillfälligt stänga
av alarmet i9 minuter (snoozefunktion). Snoozefunktionen kan aktiveras om och
om igen ien timme och stängs sedan automatiskt av.
• För att permanent stänga av alarmen när de ljuder, tryck [ POWER/MODE ].
Alarmet kommer att ljuda igen om 24 timmar.
