1. 45-RPM Adapter:
This adapter allows you to play standard 7” 45-RPM EP vinyl records with large center holes.
2. Strobe Indicators:
The outer edge of the plaer is marked with four rows of circular indicators, or dots. These dots are used
to visually detail various stages of pitch or rotaon speed. The indicators are illuminated by the strobe
indicator pilot lamp. Each row should appear to stand sll at the correct pitch level.
3. Center Spindle:
The centre spindle holds both the turntable plaer and vinyl records stable and centered during opera-
on.
4. Strobe Indicator Pilot Lamp:
This lamp is specially designed to pulse a beam of light at the strobe indicators on the turntable plat-
ter to determine rotaon speed. NOTE: The use of uorescent lighng directly above the turntable can
defeat the strobe indicator pilot lamp and adversely aect the indicator accuracy.
5. Power Switch:
This is a rotary power switch. To turn main power on, turn the switch clockwise. To turn main power o,
turn the switch counter-clockwise.
6. Start/Stop:
This buon controls plaer moon. When the unit is turned on the plaer will not automacally begin
to spin. Pressing this buon once will engage the high torque motor and spin the plaer, pressing this
buon again will stop the plaer.
7. Plaer:
The plaer connects directly to the center spindle. The plaer and center spindle holds a vinyl record
perfectly at and centered.
8. Headshell:

The locking nut will securely hold the headshell to the tonearm.
11. S-Shaped Tone Arm:
The tonearm is the mechanism that holds the headshell and stylus allowing it to track across a record.
12. 33⅓ RPM Speed Selector:
Engaging this buon will rotate the plaer at 33⅓ RPM. A red LED will glow when this funcon is acvated.
13. 45 RPM Speed Selector:
Engaging this buon will rotate the plaer at 45 RPM. A red LED will glow when this funcon is acvated.
14. Pitch Adjust Slider:
This slider is used to adjust the playback pitch or plaer speed. This can be adjusted from minus 10% up to
plus 10%.
15. Tonearm Lever:
This lever is used to safely elevate the tone arm above, or to lower onto a record without endangering the
record surface.
16. Tonearm Rest and Clamp:
Safely holds the tonearm in a xed posion during periods of non-use and transportaon.
17. An-Skate Control:
Compensates for inward tracking forces when the stylus nears the centre of the record by applying an out-
ward force to the tonearm and stylus, which prevents the stylus skipping across the record.
18. Counterweight Scale:
This scale is used to properly balance the tonearm. NOTE: The counterweight scale must face toward the
user.
19. Counterweight:
The counterweight balances the tone arm and adjusts the stylus pressure.
20. Spare Stylus Holder:
This cutout has been designed to safely store a spare stylus & headshell assembly.
21. Dust Cover Hinges:
Hinges connect the dust cover to the main chassis, with a hold-up funcon to keep the dust cover open while

TURNTABLE CONNECTIONS:
Before connecng the unit it is advised that you also consult your current equipments instrucon manu-
als to ensure product compability and to ensure proper use.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to turn o the equipment before you make changes to any connecons.
1. Phono / Line Switch:
This unit has the ability to output either a PHONO signal or a LINE signal via the RCA output on the rear
panel of the unit. The voltage and Impedance levels of the PHONO output and LINE output are very dif-
ferent. It is therefore extremely important to set this switch correctly.
If you connect this unit to a PHONO INPUT on your Receiver, Amplier or Mixer etc: Set the PHONO/
LINE Switch to ‘PHONO’.
If you are connecng this unit to a LINE INPUT on your Receiver, Amplier, Mixer, etc: Set the PHONO/
LINE Switch to ‘LINE’.
2. RCA Audio Cable Connecons:

*Important Notes on Phono vs. Line Inputs & Outputs:
It is not suitable to use the PHONO output of this turntable with a LINE Input on your Amplier or
Receiver. If you do connect this unit to a LINE INPUT when the switch is set to the PHONO posion, the
resulng playback will be very low and almost inaudible.
It is even more important that you do not use the LINE output of this turntable with a PHONO Input on
ANY Amplier, Receiver, etc. If you do connect this unit to a Phono input when the switch is set to the
LINE posion, the resulng playback will be extremely loud and distorted and may easily cause serious
damage to your equipment, including your loudspeakers.
3. USB Cable Connecon:
Connect the USB output on the Turntable to any available USB input on your PC or Mac Computer. This
will enable you to record from your vinyl to an MP3 digital audio le using the free Audacity soware.
4. Power Cable Connecon:
Plug the mains power cable into your homes 240V mains power outlet and switch ON.
Adjusng the Tonearm & Stylus
TONEARM BALANCE ADJUSTMENT:
1. Set the ANTI-SKATE dial to ‘0’ posion.
2. Remove the Stylus cover.
3. Release the arm rest clamp and set the cueing lever to the up posion to li the tone arm up and o
the arm rest.
4. Move the tonearm over to the space between the arm rest and the plaer, taking care not to dam-
age the stylus.
5. Set the cueing lever to the down posion.
6. Support the headshell’s nger-li with one nger and aain level balance by turning the counter-
weight either clockwise or counter-clockwise. ‘Level balance’ means when the tonearm is parallel
to the plaer, and the tonearm therefore sits sll half way between the full up posion and the full
down posion of the tonearm movement range. The tonearm should not lt either toward the coun-
terweight side or the headshell side. Once the tonearm is hovering perfectly horizontal, the stylus
tracking weight is now set at zero.
7. Return the tonearm to the arm rest and fasten the arm rest clamp.
8. As the tracking force is zero when the tone arm is balanced level, turn only the tracking-force scale
ring in front of the counter-weight, and set the ‘0’ posion on the scale to the index line on the top
of the counterweight sha. Be sure to hold the counterweight with the other hand so that it does
not turn together with the scale ring.
9. Now turning the counterweight and scale ring together, set the correct tracking force opposite the
index line on the counterweight sha. The tracking-force scale ring has 0.1 gram steps and one full
turn of the counterweight will yield a tracking force of 4.0 grams.
