Description

The PCI Express card by Delock expands a PC by two external serial RS-

422/485 ports. Devices such as scanners, protocol converters, POS systems,

infrared -, IoT - devices etc. and di󰀨erent modes can be used.

The PCIe card supports 2- and 4-wire operation at both connections for RS-

422 and RS-485 devices. In addition, the integrated terminating resistors can

optionally be activated, thus avoiding unwanted signal interference.

RS-422 or RS-485 settings

The settings can be set with jumpers on the PCIe card and provide the modes

Auto Detect, RS-422 and RS-485 4-wire full duplex and RS-485 2-wire half

duplex operation.

Hardware Installation

1. Turn o󰀨 your PC and unplug the power cord.

2. Open the housing.

3. Remove the slot holder from the available PCI Express slot.

4. Insert the card straight and carefully into the free PCI Express slot, until it is

well seated.

5. Use a screw to attach the card to the housing.

6. Reattach the housing and connect the power cord to the AC adapter.

Driver Installation

1. Switch on your computer.

2. The driver will be installed automatically. If this is not the case, please

perform the driver installation as follows:

3. Put the driver CD in the CD ROM drive.

4. Open device manager, than right click on the error port and click "Update

Driver".

5. Choose "Search for drivers on the computer (extended)".

6. Navigate to the appropriate folder of your operating system under CD-drive\

XR17V35x.

7. Tick "Include subfolders". Afterwards click on "Next".

8. The driver will now be installed.

9. Click on "Close".

10. Restart your system after the installation.

11. After restart you can start using the device immediately.

Hardwareinstallation

1. Schalten Sie Ihren PC aus, ziehen Sie das Netzkabel.

2. Ö󰀨nen Sie das Gehäuse.

3. Entfernen Sie das Slotblech vom gewünschten freien PCI Express

Steckplatz.

4. Stecken Sie die Karte gerade und vorsichtig in den freien PCI Express Slot,

bis sie fest sitzt.

5. Befestigen Sie die Karte mit einer Schraube am Gehäuse.

6. Schließen Sie das Gehäuse wieder und verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit

dem Netzteil.

Treiberinstallation

1. Schalten Sie den Computer ein.

2. Der Treiber wird automatisch installiert. Sollte das nicht der Fall sein, so

führen Sie die Installation wie folgt aus:

3. Legen Sie die Treiber CD in Ihr Laufwerk ein.

4. Ö󰀨nen Sie den Geräte Manager und klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste

auf den nicht installierten Anschluss und aktivieren Sie "Treibersoftware

aktualisieren".

5. Wählen Sie "Auf dem Computer nach Treibersoftware suchen (erweitert)".

6. Navigieren Sie in den entsprechenden Ordner Ihres Betriebssystems unter

CD-Laufwerk\XR17V35x.

7. Aktivieren Sie das Kontrollkästchen "Unterordner einbeziehen". Anschließend

klicken Sie auf "Weiter".

8. Der Treiber wird nun installiert.

9. Klicken Sie auf "Schließen".

10. Starten Sie nach der Installation Ihr System neu.

11. Nach dem Neustart können Sie das Gerät verwenden.

Installation matérielle

1. Eteignez votre PC et débranchez le cordon d'alimentation.

2. Ouvrez le boîtier.

jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit bien en place.

Installation du pilote

1. Allumez votre ordinateur.

6. Naviguer pour trouver le dossier approprié de votre système d'exploitation

sous CD-drive\XR17V35x.

7. Cochez "Inclure les sous-dossiers". Puis cliquez sur "Suivant".

8. Le pilote va maintenant être installé.

9. Cliquez sur "Fermer".

10. Redémarrez votre système après l’installation.

11. Après redémarrage vous pouvez immédiatement commencer à utiliser le

périphérique.

Instalace hardware

Instalace ovladače

6. Přejděte do příslušné složky vašeho operačního systému CD-drive\

XR17V35x.

7. Zaškrtněte "Include sub-folders" (Prohledávat podadresáře). Poté klikněte na

"Next" (Pokračovat).

8. Ovladač bude nainstalován.

9. Klikněte na "Close" (Uzavřít).

10. Po dokončení instalace restartujte počítač.

11. Po restartu je možné disk ihned používat.
