Description

This USB Type-C™ switch by Delock is a manual bidirectional switch for

connecting di󰀨erent devices with USB Type-C™ port. This switch o󰀨ers two

di󰀨erent applications.

Function 1

One USB Type-C™ device like a monitor or external storage can be connected

to two computers. With the push of a button, you can select the computer that will

be connected to the device.

Function 2

Two USB Type-C™ devices like a monitor or USB-PD charger can be connected

to one computer. At the push of a button, the device that is connected to the

computer can be selected.

Flexible use

The switch supports graphics signals with up to 8K resolution, USB-C™ with up

to SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps data rate and Power Delivery with up to 100 W.

This makes it exible to use in a wide range of applications.

Note

Thunderbolt™ devices or cables are not supported.

Please use short length and high-quality cables, especially for higher resolutions.

Hardware Installation

For the installation of the hardware all devices should be turned o󰀨.

1. Connect the USB data switch to your peripheral device and to your

computers with suitable USB cables (sold separately).

2. Plug in the USB-C™ power cable to a USB Type-A port or power supply.

3. Power up your computers and the peripheral device. Your device will now be

ready to switch between computers.

Operation

The LED on the USB data switch will indicate which computer is currently

connected to the peripheral device. To switch devices between computers simply

press the corresponding button.

Note

• Do not switch to a computer that is in the process of booting.

• Before switching, ensure that the attached USB device is not in use, like reading

/ writing data, printing etc.

• Please use short length and high-quality cables, especially for higher

resolutions.

Hardwareinstallation

Zur Installation der Hardware sollten alle Geräte ausgeschaltet sein.

1. Verbinden Sie den USB Umschalter, das Peripheriegerät und die Computer

mit passenden USB Kabeln (separat erhältlich).

2. Schließen Sie das USB-C™ Power Kabel an einen USB Typ-A Port oder an

ein Netzteil an.

3. Schalten Sie die Computer und das Peripheriegerät an. Das Gerät kann nun

zwischen den Computern umgeschaltet werden.

Betrieb

Die LED am USB Umschalter zeigt an, welcher Computer mit dem Peripheriegerät

verbunden ist. Um Geräte zwischen den Computern umzuschalten, kann einfach

die entsprechende Taste gedrückt werden.

Hinweise

• Schalten Sie nicht auf einen Computer um, der gerade bootet.

• Stellen Sie vor dem Umschalten bitte sicher, dass das angeschlossene USB-

Gerät nicht im Betrieb ist, z. B. Daten Lesen / Schreiben, Drucken etc.

• Bitte verwenden Sie kurze und hochwertige Kabel, besonders für höhere

Auösungen.

Installation matérielle

Pour l'installation du matériel, tous les appareils doivent être éteints.

1. Connecter le commutateur de données USB à votre périphérique et à vos

ordinateurs avec les câbles appropriés USB (vendus séparément).

2. Branchez le câble d'alimentation USB-C™ dans un port USB Type-A ou une

alimentation électrique.

3. Allumer les ordinateurs et le périphérique. Votre appareil est maintenant prêt

à commuter entre les ordinateurs.

Fonctionnement

La LED sur le commutateur USB indiquera l'ordinateur actuellement connecté au

périphérique. Pour commuter entre les ordinateurs, appuyer simplement sur la

touche correspondante.

Remarque

• Ne pas commuter sur un ordinateur en cours de lancement.

Hardware Instalación

Para la instalación del hardware, todos los dispositivos deben estar apagados.

Funcionamiento

Instalace hardware

Pro instalaci hardwaru musí být všechna zařízení vypnuta.

1. Připojte datový switch USB k perifernímu zařízení a k počítači pomocí

vhodných kabelů USB (prodává se samostatně).

2. Zapojte USB-C™ napájecí kabel do portu USB Typ-A nebo napájecího

zdroje.

3. Zapněte počítače a periferní zařízení. Vaše zařízení bude nyní připraveno se

přepínat mezi počítači.

V činnosti

LED na USB datovém switchi bude indikovat, který počítače je aktuálně připojen

k perifernímu zařízení. Chcete-li přepínat zařízení mezi počítače, jednoduše

stiskněte odpovídající tlačítko.

Poznámka

• Nepřepínejte počítače, který je v procesu bootování.

• Před přepnutím se ujistěte, že se připojitelné zařízení USB nepoužívá, jako je

čtení / zápis dat, tisk atd.

• Zvláště při velkých rozlišeních prosím použijte krátké a kvalitní kabely.

Instalacja sprzętu

Praca

Uwaga

• Nie przełączać na komputer, który dopiero się uruchamia.

• Przed przełączeniem, upewnić się, że podłączone urządzenie USB nie jest

używane, na przykład do odczytu lub zapisu danych, drukowania, itp.

Nota

• Non passare a un computer in fase di avvio.

• Prima di passare da un computer all'altro, assicurarsi che il dispositivo USB

collegato non sia in uso, per lettura / scrittura di dati, stampa etc.

• Utilizzare cavi corti e di alta qualità, in particolare per risoluzioni più elevate.
