The indoor unit will beep to acknowledge the recepon of a signal from the remote when a buon is pressed.

REMOTE CONTROL

1. Point the remote control toward the air condioner and

make your selecons. The indoor unit will beep if the signal

is received.

2. The remote control will operate the air condioner at a

distance up to 23 (7m).

3. Check that there is no object between the remote control

and the signal receptor in the indoor unit.

4. Never leave the remote control exposed to direct sunlight.

5. Keep the remote control at least 3.5 feet (1m) from the

television or other electrical appliances.

Use 2 AAA (1.5V) baeries.

Do not use rechargeable baeries.

When the display is no longer legible, replace the 2

old baeries with new ones of the same type and at

the same me. Dispose of baeries responsibly per

regulatory requirements.



Storage and Tips for Using the Remote Control

Remove the baery cover plate from the rear of the remote control, by sliding it in the direcon

of the arrow.

Install the baeries according to the direcon (+ and -) shown on the Remote Control. Reinstall

the baery cover by sliding it into place.

The remote control may be mounted on a wall with a

remote control holder (oponal part).

FAN Change the operang fan speed.

Automac mode.

The cooling funcon allows the

air condioner to cool the room

and reduce air humidity at the

same me.

The heang funcon allows the

air condioner to heat the room.

Fan mode, air venlaon only.

To set to FAN mode, press MODE unl the

symbol appears on the display.

To set to AUTO mode, press MODE unl

the symbol appears on the display.

In AUTO mode the run mode will be set

automacally according to the room tem-

perature.

Press the FAN buon to set the running fan

speed. It can be set to AUTO/ HIGH/ MID-

HIGH / MID/ MID-LOW/ LOW speed.

When the unit rst starts in heat mode, it may take

2-5 minutes before air ow will be discharged from

the unit. If needed, wait 3 minutes before restarng

the unit.

To acvate the cooling funcon (COOL), press

the MODE buon unl the symbol

appears on the display.

Set the desired temperature using the +or -

buons. The cool mode will acvate when

room temperature is above the set tempera-

ture.

Note: Set temperature range is between 61°F and 86°F.

To acvate the heang funcon (HEAT), press

the MODE buon unl the symbol

appears on the display.

Set the desired temperature using the +or -

buons. The heat mode will acvate when

room temperature is below the set tempera-

ture.

Note: Set temperature range is between 61°F and 86°F.

DRY MODE

DRY This funcon reduces the humid-

ity of the air to make the room

more comfortable.

To set to DRY mode, press MODE unl

the symbol appears on the display. When

acvated, the unit will automacally reduce

the humidity to a predetermined seng.

If the unit does not respond when changing modes, wait 3 minutes and try again.

CLOCK Change the current local me.

Switch the unit OFF aer a set me.

Switch the unit ON aer a set me.

Press the CLOCK buon once. Set the cur-

rent local me in 24 hour format using the

+and - buons. Press the CLOCK buon a

second me to conrm.

Never adjust or set the ap or deectors manually as

this could damage the mechanism.

Note: If unit does not have 4-way airow funcon,

the horizontal airow may be adjusted manually.

Never insert ngers, scks or other objects into the

air inlet or outlet vents as this acon could cause

serious injury or damage to the unit.

Avoid seng the horizontal louver downward for an

extended period of me in Cooling or Dry modes to

prevent condensed water from dripping out of the

front of the unit.

With the unit switched o, set the TIMER. To set

the mer to switch the unit on automacally:

1. Press the TIMER ON buon once. The

"12:00 ON" will appear and ash on the

remote display.

2. Press the +or - buons to set the desired

Timer-on me in 24hr format.

3. Press the TIMER ON buon a second me

to conrm. A beep will sound, "ON" will stop

ashing and the mer indicator on the indoor

unit will light up.

4. Aer seng the mer press the MODE

buon to set the needed mode (Auto, Cool,

Dry, Fan or Heat). Set the needed fan speed

by pressing the FAN buon.

Press +or - to set the needed operaon

temperature. CANCEL the mer funcon by

pressing the TIMER ON buon again.

1. Press the buon to acvate the

horizontal ap to swing up and down.

The symbol will appear on the remote

display. Press again to stop the swing

movement at the current angle.

2. Press to acve the vercal deec-

t o r s t o s w i n g l e  a n d r i g h t . T h e s y m b o l

will appear on the remote display.

Press again to stop the swing movement

at the current angle.

To set the mer to switch the unit o automat-

ically:

1. Conrm the appliance is ON.

2. Press the TIMER OFF buon once to set the

unit to switch o. The "12:00 OFF" will appear

and ash on the remote display. Press the +

or - to set the mer in 24hr format.

3. Press the TIMER OFF buon a second me

to conrm. A beep will sound, "OFF" will stop

ashing and the mer indicator on the indoor

unit will light up. Cancel the mer funcon by

pressing the TIMER OFF buon again.

• Press the +or - buon once, the me increases/

decreases by 1 minute.

• Press and hold the +or - buon for 2 seconds, the

me increases/decreases by 10 minutes.

• Long press the +or - buon, the me increases/

decreases by 1 hour.

Note: If the Timer ON/OFF buon has been pressed

and there is no further acvity for 10 seconds, the

unit will return to normal operaon and the mer

funcon will be canceled.

The horizontal louver is automacally ad-

justed according to the selected operang

mode. The direcon of airow can be further

adjusted by using the SWING buons on the

remote control.

 

I FEEL

Automacally sets the operaon at

minimum capacity to save energy.

Press the ECO buon. The symbol will

appear on the display, and the appliance

will run in ECO mode. Pressing the ON/OFF,

MODE, TEMP, FAN, SLEEP, MUTE or ECO

buons will cancel ECO funcon.

Note: The ECO funcon is not available in AUTO Mode.

Sleep funcon gives you a more comfortable

environment for sleep. It can be set in Cool-

ing, Heang or Dry modes.

The appliance will stop operaon automa-

cally aer operang for 8 hours. Fan speed is

automacally set at low speed.

There are 4 levels of sleep funcon. Each

me the SLEEP buon is pressed, the sleep

funcon will be changed in the following

sequence:

Press the I FEEL buon to acve the

funcon. The symbol will appear on the

remote display. Press again to deacvate this

funcon.

This funcon enables the remote control to

sense the temperature at its current locaon,

and send this signal to the air condioner to

opmize the temperature around you and

ensure your comfort. The remote must be

near the indoor unit to receive the signal.

When turning o the unit or when the I FEEL

funcon is not needed, turn o the funcon

to save energy. If the I FEEL funcon will not

turn o, press and hold buon for 5 seconds.

1. Press the MUTE buon to acvate this

funcon. The symbol will appear on

the remote display. Press buon again to

deacvate this funcon.

2. When MUTE is selected, the remote con-

troller will display the auto fan speed, and

the indoor unit will operate at the lowest

fan speed to minimize sound.

3. Press the FAN or MODE buon to cancel

the MUTE funcon. The MUTE funcon

cannot be acvated under Dry Mode.



TURBO

To acvate the turbo funcon, press the

TURBO buon. The symbol will appear

on the display. Press again to cancel this

funcon.

When in Fan Only or Dry mode, the fan

speed will be set to high automacally.

When in Cooling mode, the fan speed will be

set to high and the temperature to 61°F.

When in Heang mode, the temperature is

set to 86°F and the fan speed to AUTO.

REMOTE CONTROL

LIGHT Switch the LED display on the

indoor unit panel ON or OFF.

1. Press and hold the and TEMP + but-

t o n s f o r 3 s e c o n d s t o a c  v a t e t h i s f u n c  o n .

will appear on the remote display.

2. This funcon will auto start the heang

mode when the room temperature is

lower than 8°C (46°F), and it will return to

standby if the temperature reaches 9°C

(48°F).

3. Press the any buon other than TIMER

ON, TIMER OFF, I FEEL or SWING will deac-

vate the 8°C Heang funcon.

Press the LIGHT buon to switch o the LED

display. Press the buon again to switch on

the LED display.

To acvate this funcon, the indoor unit

must be o with the mode set to COOL or

DRY. This funcon cannot be acvated with

TURBO funcon.

Press and hold the MUTE buon for 5 sec-

onds to acvate this funcon. will appear

on the remote display.

1. This funcon helps to clear accumulat-

ed dust, bacteria, etc. from the indoor

evaporator.

2. Aer the cleaning process is nished,

the unit will return to the preset mode.

The symbol will remain for 10 minutes

aer funcon is complete. Press the

ON/OFF or MODE buon to cancel this

funcon.

It's normal if there is some noise during this

operaon, as plasc materials expand with

heat and contract with cold.

Perform this funcon in the following am-

bient condions to avoid acvang certain

safety protecon features:

It is recommended to perform this funcon

every 3 months.

1. Press and hold the TIMER ON and

TIMER OFF buons together to acve

this funcon. Perform this step again to

deacvate this funcon.

2. When the Child-Lock funcon is acvated,

the buons on the remote will be inacve.
