Safety Precautions
Note
Please read this manual carefully before you start to operate the detector
DoCash 500 series detectors operate from 220V power supply circuit.
User is required to comply with safety precautions while operating any ap-
paratus of this type:
Replace lamps and effect other service activities only after the power
supply cable is disconnected from the outlet
Note
Voltage over 42V is potentially dangerous for the oper ator
If the Detector has been transported and stored under low temperature
conditions, it is required to maintain the Detector at least two hours
under indoor temperature before switching it on.
To avoid break-off or damage of the cable, it is required to hold on the
power supply plug while putting it on and out from the outlet. Also avoid
such actions when your hands are wet - it may cause in electric shock.
Connect optional detectors only when DoCash 500 series is turned off
Avoid using the device with the damaged power supply cable.

Purpose of a detector
DoCash 500 series detector has been designed for visualization of the
presence and location of UV marks on banknotes and securities of any
types.
Use of the Detector allows to increase identity rate of conclusions made
with regard to authenticity of examined specimen.

The Detector conforms to the following safety requirements:

Control keys
Note
Only DoCash 525, DoCash 530 and DoCash 531 devices are equipped
with control keys. A power supply ON/OFF Switch of DoCash 502 devices
is located adjacent to operational area.

Connection of Accessories
Accessories (of DoCash M and DoCash L detectors) allow to expand
opportunities of DoCash 500 series detector. They are connected to con-
nectors on the side board of DoCash 500 series detector.
Note
Only DoCash 525 and DoCash 530 Detectors are featured to connect up
accessories.
DoCash M and DoCash L remote detectors are supplied in addi-
tion.
DoCash M Control of location of magnetic marks.
Allows to trace security marks, inscriptions and
images made by ferromagnetic paint (magnetic
marks).
DoCash L View of the image through 10x magnifier in visible
range, with the possibility of backlighting.
Allows to study the specific features of printing,
view the elements of microprint and detect the at-
tempts for changing through expunction, gluing,
etc.
