azUse the stove only as intended.
zDo not modify or alter the stove.
zEnsure the stove is properly installed and grounded in accord-
ance with all applicable regulations.
zTurn off the stove when not in use.
zDo not operate the stove if it is damaged and has any broken or
defective parts.
zIf stovetop is broken, cleaning solutions and spillovers may
penetrate the broken stovetop and create a risk of electric
shock. Turn off the stove immediately.
ezAlways disconnect the power supply when working on the
device.
zMaintenance and repair work may only be carried out by
qualified personnel who are familiar with the risks involved and
the relevant regulations.
zInform yourself how to power off the circuit breaker or the fuse
in the event of an emergency.
2.2 Operating the device safely
dzWear proper clothing when operating the stove.
Do not wear hanging garments which can catch fire.
azLet the stove cool down to ambient temperature before you
touch it with bare hands.
zKeep the area surrounding the stove and interior parts free of
grease, fat, alcoholic substances, plastic or inflammable cloths
(for instance curtains, towels, kitchen utensils).
zDo not hang or place towels, papers, curtains or other
combustibles near the cooktop.
zBe careful when heating grease or oil. Grease and oil catch fire
when exposed to great heat.
Do not use water on grease fire.
zUse only dry pot cloths and wooden spoons to prevent the
formation of steam. Moist or damp potholders on hot surfaces
may result in burns from steam.
