1.Safety Instruction.
Read all of the instructions in this section when settin up and usin your printer.
When choosin a place for the printer
Avoid places subject to rapid chan es in temperature and humidity. Also, keep the printer away from direct
sunli ht, stron li ht, or heat sources.
Avoid places subject to dust, shocks, or vibrations.
Leave enou h room around the printer to allow for sufficient ventilation.
Place the printer near a wall outlet where the plu can be easily unplu ed.
Place the printer on a flat stable surface that extends beyond the base of the printer in all directions. If you
place the printer by the wall, leave more than 50cm between the back of the printer and the wall. The
printer will not operate properly if it is tiled at an an le.
When choosin a power source
Use only the type of power source indicated on the printer’s label.
Be sure your AC power cord meets the relevant local safety standard.
Do not use a dama ed or frayed power cord.
If you use an extension cord with the printer, make sure that the total ampere ratin of the devices plu ed
into the extension cord does not exceed the cord’s ampere ratin . Also, make sure that the total ampere
ratin of all devices plu ed into the wall outlet does not exceed the wall outlet’s ampere ratin .
When usin the printer
Do not put your hand inside the printer or touch the ink carria e durin printin .
Do not block or cover the vents and the openin in the printer.
Unplu the printer and refer service to qualified service personnel under the followin conditions:
The power cord or plu is dama ed: liquid has entered the printer; the printer has been dropped or the
casin dama ed; the printer does not operate normally or exhibits a distinct chan e in performance.
Do not insert objects throu h the slots in the printer.
When connectin this product to a computer or other device with a cable, ensure the correct orientation of
the connector. Each connector has only one correct orientation. Insertin a connector in the wron
orientation may dama e both devices connected by the cable.

To let the printer start of initialization.

To let the bed come out.

To let the ink chip reset.
5th.Standby button
- To make the printer ready for the printin .
(To let the bed move to the back side.)

To forward the bed before initalization.
(This button is just for the settin in Factory)

To make up the bed

1.FRONT SPEED SET SPEED : (100%)
Controlled the forwardin speed of the printer bed throu h No.7(up) and No8(down)button
2.REAR SPEED SET SPEED : (100% )
Controlled the backin speed of the printer bed throu h No.7(up) and No8(down)button.
3.FAN SPEED SET SPEED :

4.DOWN SENSOR : (ON)
This Function must be always “ON”. It’s controlled that the printer bed can o down the limited
len th. So if it is off, the machine mi ht be out of order.
5.Automatic rise : (ON)
controlled the hei ht of the printer bed based on a thickness of the material
by the hei ht perception sensor.( up button : ON, down button : OFF>
6.Automatic drop : (ON)
This Function must always be “ON”
Down the bed automatically when the bed or material is percepted by sensor.
< No.7(up) button : ON, No.8(down)button : OFF>
7.Automatic movement
This Function is not concern with the printin at all. You don’t have to use this function.

3. How to char e the ink.
1) Open the left upper case, and then fill out the ink in each bottle.

2) After fill out the ink, pull the ink to the head. There’s two way, just choose one of them.
- First way -
Connect the power cord Press the start button on the remote When the standby
button is blink, press the standby button When the carria e start to move, turn off
the power Pull the ink as the below with injector.
-Second Way -
Pull the ink as the below ima e.

4. How to set the printer.
Caution : After turn on the power, first please check the hei ht control sensor as the followin .
Turn on the Printer (Initalization).
The printer should be initialized to start workin . If you don’t do this, the computer can’t
connect with computer. The initialization is the followin .
1st Step : Turn on the main power.
2nd Step : Press the start button (The bed come out)
3rd Step : When the standby button blinks, press the standby button
The printer start to initatlize, you just wait until finish the initialization.
If the initialization is finish, the standby button blinks.
Install the printer driver.
There’s execute file in the dreamjet data CD, or if you can’t find it, you can
download the driver file from the Epson website (http://www.epson.com)
Driver Name : Epson stylus photo R2400
After finishin the installin , you can find the driver (Epson stylus photo R2400) in the
printer folder on the computer as the below.

5. How to set the printer driver.
1. Click the “Printin preferences” after click the ri ht button on the mouse of the EPSON Stylus
photo R2400 icon in the printer and FAX folder.
2. Click the“Advanced”.
3. Select the Premium Photo Paper Glossy as a paper, photo RPM as resolution and User
