Leads connected to the UPS's output should not be longer than 10 m, in order to
maintain conformance with the EMC directive for products sold in Europe.
Connecting leads should be placed so that people walking over them will not step
or trip on them.
To limit the risk of fire, connections should only be made to circuits (electrical
systems) whose rating is adequate for the connected loads, with properly selected
overcurrent protection. Additionally, the breaker should feature at least 3 mm
insulating air gap.
C) UPS operation remarks
OHS regulations and guidelines specified in the device's manual must be
observed when handling and operating the UPS.
The instructions must be executed step by step. If any problems emerge when
executing the instructions given in this document, please contact EVER service
support (www.ever.eu).
Do not disconnect the grounding at the UPS or in the building's electrical system
terminals, as this will remove the UPS's protective grounding.
There may be voltage on the UPS's output terminals, even if the UPS is
disconnected from the building's electrical system (due to presence of power in
the device's internal batteries).
Liquids and foreign bodies must not penetrate the UPS's housing.
WARNING: This is a C2 category UPS. If installed in residential environment, this
product may interfere with radio signals, which may require additional precautions
to be employed by the user.
D) Maintenance, repair and defects related remarks
Dangerous voltages are present in the UPS. Only qualified service technicians
may perform maintenance works.
CAUTION - risk of electric shock. Even if the device is disconnected from the
mains (terminals of the electrical system), the elements inside the UPS are
connected to the battery, which may lead to danger. Disconnect the battery before
carrying out any service and/or maintenance works. Make sure there is no
dangerous voltage on the DC circuit internal elements.
WARNING: Only properly authorized and qualified service technicians who have
legally required protection gear may replace batteries.
