Objective with this Document
The objective with this document is to be a broad and comprehensive sales tool for the
GETINGE WD 14 TABLO. The document will cover the background of the products as
well as recent developments.

and/or technicians.
Background and Introduction
When Getinge 1345 was introduced many years ago it was based on an old design. From
then big improvements have been made to make it a reliable and appreciated washer
disinfector, especially with features like the ventilation system and special accessories.
We have now made further updates and a major facelift on the machine and since it’s
now completely different from the original 1345 we have decided as a restart change the
name to GETINGE WD 14 TABLO
Customers
GETINGE WD 14 TABLO is mainly used in hospitals, small ward departments and
clinics (dental, ophthalmic, district etc).

Strengths
Short process times
The process times are short, especially when choosing optional double heating element
(3-phase electrical connection) and warm water valve.
Low consumption
The consumption of water, detergent and power are low giving low running cost.
Ergonomically working height
Since the GETINGE WD 14 TABLO can be placed on a worktop it gives an ergonomical
working height for the staff.
Easy installation and service
With its space saving design it can be installed on a standard worktop (60 cm).
Since the control system includes a trouble shooting and all components can be accessed
easily, the serviceability is very good.
Special accessories
The special developed accessories (injector bars) for tubular instrument as well as
accessory kits for medical, ophthalmic and dental applications gives the optimized
cleaning and disinfection result.
Well tested and proven
The GETINGE WD 14 TABLO complies with all relevant norms and standards.
Furthermore, it is tested for cleanliness.

Weaknesses
Empty space when replacing under-counter models
Under-counter models are common in this segment. If the GETINGE WD 14 TABLO
should replace such a machine it creates an empty space in the furnishing.
No integrated water softener
Due to hard water at many clients, softened water is often needed for a good result. Since
this is not always available water softener is needed. This is not integrated in the
GETINGE WD 14 TABLO and but must be installed separately.
Exposed heating elements
There is a risk that waste material can get stuck on the heating element
No HEPA filter
The ventilation system is not equipped with a drying fan and HEPA filter
Opportunities
Increased interest in disinfection
In the smaller clinic and dental market we find an increased interest in disinfection. This
is necessary to reach a good infection control.
