Location
• Please read the operation manual before use.
• The IDF-2 shall be installed such that it is at least 7.5' above the floor.
• The IDF-2 is to be mounted on a suspended ceiling system (24” x 24”) that can fully support it's weight (11.5 lbs).
• For non drop ceilings use the ceiling box mount.
• Do not insert hands or materials into the airflow grill or touch the fan when the tile fan is running.
• To avoid the risk of shock, disconnect the electricity before cleaning.
• Installation must be in accordance with local electrical wiring regulations.
• Regularly clean and maintain the fan.
• Handle remote controller with care.
• Do not allow anything to obstruct the fan or airflow grill.
• Installation and maintenance by a trained professional.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

1. Remove the ceiling tile where the IDF-2 will be installed.

1. Review the installation video at our website or scan the QR code opposite.

2. Insert the IDF-2 diagonally through the opening and place gently onto the 2’ x 2’ ceiling frame.
3. Slide the adjacent ceiling tile away to allow easy access to the terminal block.

BEFORE USE, BE SURE:
• There are no foreign objects inside the circulating fan.
• The power is connected.
• The circulating fan is placed steadily.
REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS:
1. Speed: High
2. Speed: Medium
3. Speed: Low
4. Power: On
5. Power: Off
The fan will begin to spin on every power up. Ensure all
guarding is installed before applying power.
Note: • The remote control can be used to operate a single fan system or multiple fans at the same time.
Cleaning Cycle
The IDF-2 comes with a preset cleaning cycle designed to clean the ionizer emitters twice per day.

Wiring
1. GPS recommends the IDF-2 be connected to a switched power source such as a lighting circuit.
3. If wiring to a non-switched circuit a means of removing power is required.
2. The IDF-2 requires a 120-240 VAC source. Connect the power wires as follows:
4. Remove the terminal block cover with a Philips-head screwdriver.

1. Support the diffuser with one hand while removing the difuser cap (turn counter clockwise). Once removed
use a clean cloth to wipe the diffuser (highlighted in blue).
Cleaning and Maintenance
2. Use a clean cloth to wipe the area highlighted in blue (shown in the figure below).

The bottom housing is held to the fan with a hinge
4. Once the screw and 4 thumbs screws are removed gently allow the bottom housing to rotate downwards.
Use a clean cloth to wipe any visible dust and debris.
5. Re-Assemble in reverse order being careful to not cross thread the thumbscrews.
3. Remove the bottom housing for access to the fan blades.
Use a Philips-head screwdriver and remove the screw located on the side of the fan.
Remove 4 thumb screws located on each corner of the fan by rotating counter clockwise.
