MONTAGE SUR GYSPRESS

• Monter la matrice D17 sur le nez de
la riveteuse.
• Placer l’outil sur le nez de la riveteuse.

GYSPRESS 8T PUSH-PULL
• Pas de matrice nécessaire sur le nez
de la riveteuse.
• Enlever l’écrou dévêtisseur (1).
• Placer l’outil sur le nez de la riveteuse.
GYSPRESS 10T
• Récupérer la broche de la GYSPRESS
pour verrouiller l’outil sur la GYSPRESS.
• L’outil peut tourner à 360°.

RÉGLAGE DE LA PRESSION
Régler la pression sur la GYSPRESS au maximum.
REMPLACEMENT DES EMBOUTS
Pour faciliter la mise en place des
buses :
• Positionner un rivet dans la buse
• Inserer le rivet entre les mors
• Serrer la buse
•
Utiliser une clé plate de 12.
• 2 embouts sont livrés avec l’adapta-
teur rivets aveugle.
• Mesurer le diamètre de la tige du
rivet pour savoir quel embout utiliser.
Le tableau ci-contre précise quel
embout utiliser en fonction du
diamètre de tige du rivet
aveugle à poser.

POSE D’UN RIVET AVEUGLE
• Placer la tige du rivet jusqu’en butée
de l’embout de l’adaptateur.
• Insérer la tête du rivet dans le trou
adapté.
• Actionner la riveteuse pour riveter.
ÉVACUATION DE LA TIGE DU RIVET
• La tige du rivet est évacuée par l’avant
de l’adaptateur.
• Simplement basculer la tête vers le
bas pour laisser s’échapper la tige du
rivet posé.
PROCÉDURE SI UNE TIGE RESTE BLOQUÉE PAR LES MORS
Si une tige reste bloquée par les mors, parce que le mauvais embout a été utilisé, il existe un moyen facile de la libérer.
Démonter l’embout et le remplacer par le plus gros embout Ø 5.2mm. Visser à fond. Cet embout aura pour eet de
repousser les mors au maximum, libérant ainsi la tige.
REMPLACEMENT DES MORS
• Dévisser la partie arrière de l’adapta-
teur, plus facile à dévisser que l’avant.
Il n’y aura pas de sortie d’huile.

• Extraire le ressort, les mors.
• Remplacer par les mors neufs.
• Replacer le ressort.
• Revisser l’arrière de la tête.
Couple de serrage : 15 N.m

INSTALLATION ON GYSPRESS

• Install the die D17 on the GYSPRESS
8T nose.
• Insert the blind rivet adapter on the
GYSPRESS 8T nose.

• It is not required to install a die on
the GYSPRESS 8T PUSH-PULL nose.
• Remove the nut (1).
• Insert the blind rivet adapter on the
GYSPRESS 8T nose.
GYSPRESS 10T
• Insert the pin to lock the blind rivet
adapter on the GYSPRESS.
• The blind rivet adapter can be turned
by 360°.

PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT
Set the pressure on the GYSPRESS to maximum.
NOSE PIECES CHANGE
To facilitate the installation of the
nozzles:
• Position a rivet in the nozzle
• Insert the rivet between the jaws
• Tighten the nozzle
• Use a 12 mm open-end wrench.
• 2 nose pieces are supplied with the
blind rivet adapter.
• Measure the diameter of the mandrel
to know which nose piece to use.
This table species which nose piece
to use depending on the diameter of
the blind rivet mandrel.

SETTING OF A BLIND RIVET
• Place the rivet mandrel as far as it will
go from the adapter nose piece.
• Insert the rivet head into the appro-
priate hole.
• Operate the riveting machine.
RIVET MANDREL EVACUATION
• The rivet mandrel has to be removed
from the front of the adapter.
• Tilt the head down to remove it.
IN CASE OF A RIVET MANDREL BLOCKED BY THE CLAMPING JAWS
If a too small nose piece has been used, the rivet mandrel might be blocked by the clamping jaws.
In order to release it, please replace the nose piece with a larger one (Ø 5.2mm). This nose piece will push the clamping
jaws to the maximum, releasing the rivet mandrel.
CLAMPING JAWS CHANGE
• Unscrew the back of the adapter (ea-
sier to unscrew than the front).
There will be no oil leak.

• Extract the spring and the clamping
jaws.
• Replace with new ones.
• Replace the spring.
• Screw the back of the adapter again.
Tightening torque: 15 N.m

• Das Werkzeug kann um 360° gedreht
werden.
