The Software is “commercial
computer software,” as defined
by Federal Acquisition Regulation
(“FAR”) 2.101. Pursuant to FAR
12.212 and 27.405-3 and

the U.S. government acquires
commercial computer software
under the same terms by which
the software is customarily
provided to the public.
Accordingly, Keysight provides
the Software to U.S. government
customers under its standard
commercial license, which is
embodied in its End User License
Agreement (EULA), a copy of

The license set forth in the EULA
represents the exclusive authority
by which the U.S. government
may use, modify, distribute, or
disclose the Software. The EULA
and the license set forth therein,
does not require or permit,

Keysight: (1) Furnish technical

commercial computer software
or commercial computer
software documentation that is
not customarily provided to the
public; or (2) Relinquish to, or
otherwise provide, the
government rights in excess of
these rights customarily provided
to the public to use, modify,

Quick Start
Overview
Overview
The Keysight Technologies V3050A Signal Analyzer Frequency Extenders are
unbanded, preselected devices designed to extend the frequency range of
Keysight’s N9042B UXA for millimeter-wave applications up to 110 GHz.
The V3050A Signal Analyzer Frequency Extenders provide efficient test setup
and measurement accuracy needed in demanding 5G, SatCom, EW/Radar,
Automotive and early 6G test environments. The V3050A uses a simple USB
plug-and-play connection that can automatically configure the N9042B UXA
to detect the specific mixer connected, then download calibration files.

Initial Inspection
Inspect the shipping container and the cushioning material for signs of stress.
Retain the shipping materials for future use, as you may wish to ship the
instrument to another location or to Keysight Technologies for service.
The instrument is shipped in a container which prevents damage from
static. The instrument should only be removed from the packaging in an
anti-static area ensuring that correct anti-static precautions are taken.
