1.BEFOREUSINGTHEEQUIPMENT,SECURITYANDCHARACTERISTICS
Thiscushioncomprisesofapneumaticvalve:type"AZN6101"or“AZN6102”andLARZEPhose:type"AZN",beingabletocombineaccording
to dimensions and pressure of the cushion, and length of the hose. LARZEP, S.A. makes possible the obtaining of these components
separately.Itisrecommendablethateachcomponentisadaptedforthecorrectexecutionofthewishedapplication.
Forthecorrectuseofthevalve,thefollowingindicationsofuseareduetoconsider:
Useprotectivedevicesastheycanbe:safetygloves,shoes,andfaceprotection.
Donotplacethehandoranypartofthebodybetweentheloadandthecushioninuse.Neverstandbeneaththeraisedload.
Useonlycompressedairtofillthecushion.Verifydiameteroftheairconnectionanddonotusedevicesthatdoesnotadapttothem.
Verifythatthelengthofthehoseisadaptedtoyournecessities,thatiscompletelystraightandwithouttorsionstofacilitatethepassageof
theair.
Supply always dried, compressed air, filtered by 70 µm filter element to clean and remove dirt, rust and dusty parts. Dirtiness destroys
pneumaticelementsandcancausedisturbanceswithinworkingvalve.
Workingtemperaturerange:‐20°Cto+55°C.Neverexceedthistemperature,itcandamagethevalveandinternalparts.
Avoidtheoverpressure.ControlwiththepressuregaugethatthepressureNEVERexceeds8bar.Inserttheliftingcushionsothatthe
75%ofitssurfaceisbeneaththeload.Insertthecushiononabaseparalleltothesurfaceoftheloadtobelifted.
NEVERsupplythevalveorcushionwithinflammable,corrosive,oxidizable,explosiveorunstablegasesorliquids.
DONOTusethevalveincorrosionareas.Itcandamageinternalparts.
LARZEP,S.A.isnotresponsibleoftheinjuriesanddamagesresultingfromtheunsafeproductuse,lackofmaintenance,theabuse,illegaluse,
orcontingencynotcoveredbylawoftheseinstructions.

LARZEP,S.A.guaranteesitsproductsagainstalldesignandmanufacturingdefectsforthedurationsoftwoyearsfromthedateofpurchase.This
guaranteedoesnotincludetheordinarywearofbothmetalandnon‐metalparts,abuse,usingtheequipmentbeyonditsratedcapacityandany
wearordamageincurredasaresultofusingahydraulicfluidwhichisnotrecommendedbyLARZEP,S.A.
Please note that if the equipment is disassembled or serviced by anyone other than an authorized service dealer or by LARZEP, S.A., this
guaranteeisrenderednullandvoid.
In the event of a warranty claim, return the equipment, to LARZEP, S.A. or the authorized dealer which sold you the hydraulic equipment,
LARZEP,S.A.willrepairorreplacethefaultyequipment,whicheverisdeemedmostappropriate.LARZEP,S.A.shallnotbeheldliableforany
consequentialdamagesorlosses,whichmayoccurasaresultoffaultyequipment.

3.STARTUP
Avoidanglesover30°inrelationtothebase.Thecushioncouldbeprojecting.
Ifthebaseissmooth,usenon‐sharpelementsbetweenthecushionandtheground.Thiswillfavourgoodadherencetotheground.
ValvesAZN6101andAZN6102aredevicesusedonlyforfillingpressureliftingbagsandpneumaticplugs.
1. Beforeconnectingthevalvetoinletandoutletpipes,makesurethatthereisnodirtintubesandcouplingofthevalve.
2. Beforefirstuseofthevalve,checkitanditsfunctionfollowingnextsteps:
‐ Connectthevalvewithasuitablesupplypressure.Neverexceedthemaximumpressureallowed.
‐ Check the working of the valve (outlet couplers or plugs must be properly closed). Move the handle backward (filling) to let the
compressedairgothroughthevalvetotheoutletcoupler.
‐ Movethehandleforwardtostoppressuresupply.Youcanreadthepressureonthegauge.
‐ Toreleasethecompressedairfromthevalve,unscrewtheknurlingnutonthereleasevalveuntilthereadinginthegaugeis0bar.
‐ Beforeeachuse,itisnecessarytofillthevalvewithpressurehigherthanworkingpressureandlowerthanmaximumsupplypressure
ofthevalve.
‐ Afterthischecking,ifthevalveiscorrect,itisreadyforuse.Ifyoufindanyfaultinworkingordamagecomponent,then,itcannotbe
used.
3. Connectthecompletesystem(hose,liftingcushionandvalve)andthevalvetotheairsupply.
4. Movethehandlebackwardtoletthecompressedairgothroughthevalvetotheoutletcouplerandfillthecushiontothedesiredpressure.
5. Movethehandleforwardtostoppressuresupply.Thecushionremainsfilledupunderpressure.Youcanreadthepressureonthegauge.
6. Toreleasethepressure,unscrewtheknurlingnutonthereleasevalve.Itcanbereleasedtoalowerpressureorto0bar.
7. Ifyouscrewtheknurlingnutonthereleasevalvebackbeforepressureis0bar,thereleaseofpressureisinterruptedandthecushionwill
remainunderpressure.
Amaximumof2cushionscanbestacked.Toperformtheraisingoperation,thelowercushion,whichisusedasabase,mustbefullyinflated
first,andthentheuppercushionshouldbeinflatedcarefully.Neverstartinflatingtheuppercushionifthelowercushionisdeflated.
To deflate the cushions, make the process in reverse order: first deflate the upper cushion before start deflating the upper cushion. Never
deflatethelowercushionbeforeoratthesametimethanuppercushion.
4.MAINTENANCE
Themaincauseoffailuresinliftingcushionisduetothedirt.Forthatreason,cleanthevalveanditsconnectionsperiodicallyandaftereachuse.
After each use, clean the cushion using slightly soapy water without detergent, rinse and dry the cushion. Then, check the integrity of the
externalsurfaceandanyexcessivedeformation(creases,bubbles,cuts).Incaseofdoubt,donotusetheproductandcontactLARZEP.
Storagethefullequipmentindryandcleanplacesandavoidextremeconditionsoftemperature.Thecushionmustbestoreddeflated,flatinits
packing.
Atleastonceperyear,inflatethecushiontoapressureof0.5bar.Checktheabsenceofdefects(cracking,cuts,…).Ifnodamageisdetected,
increasethepressureto4barandrepeattheinspection.
Beforeanyintervention(changespareparts),makesurethatthevalveorsystemisnotunderpressure.
PROBLEMS DAMAGES SOLUTION
‐Itdoesnotmaintaintheload. ‐ Dirt in the air connection, that finishes
stagnatinginthecheckvalve.
‐ Make sure that the hose; or the device to
connectthey,arecleaned.
‐Thecushiondoesnotloosepressure. ‐ The air does not return because the filter of
thesilencerisdirty.
‐ Unscrew the silencer and clean/replace
filter.
‐Thecushiondoesnotinflatecompletely. ‐Theinletairpressureofthecushionissmaller
than8bar.
‐Verifytheworkingpressure,itmustbe8bar.
