General instrucons and regulaons
Installaon
To secure the warranty, the Oris must be installed by a properly qualied person employed by a
dealer recognized by Harrie Leenders Haardkachels. See leenders.nl for a current list of addresses of
recognized dealers or contact the manufacturer.
The stove is suscepble to scratching. Handle with care.
Aer installaon, check the draught by burning some kindling wood.
Use
• All local regulaons including those referring to naonal and European standards must be
observed when installing the appliance.
• Ensure there is sucient venlaon/air supply in the room where the stove is installed.
Air extractors such as a cooker hood may cause problems due to ue gases escaping from the
stove into the room.
• The appliance is not suitable for a shared ue system.
• The appliance must be installed on a wall having sucient bearing capacity.
• Ensure adequate access for cleaning the appliance, the ue-gas connecon and the chimney.
Safety instrucons
• Glass is quite suscepble to breaking and broken glass is quite sharp. Take appropriate measures.
• For general safety, we refer to the VCA guidelines.
• Note: Aer installaon, ensure there is no inammable and/or explosion-hazardous material in or
on the stove such as a spray can, packing material and the like.
Distance to combusble materials
• Back; Appliance must be placed on a non-combusble wall.
• Side; 73cm.
• Front; 80cm.
