Overview
LIMIT 94 professional non-contact infrared thermometer can determine surface temperature through
measuring infrared energy radiated by the target surface. Compact and lightweight design easy to carry.
Warning:
To avoid eyes injury, do not look directly in to the laser beam.

Operations:
1. Power On and Off
1.1 Press the measurement trigger (Pos.1) to turn on the thermometer, LCD screen (Pos 5).
1.2 The thermometer will turn off automatically if there is no operation in 8 s.
2. Manual measurement
2.1 Aim at the target then press and hold the trigger, SCAN icon will indicate the targets temperature is
being measured.
2.2 Release trigger and the SCAN icon will disappear, and HOLD icon appear indicating that the measuring
has stopped, and the last value will be saved in the display.
3. Laser beam setup
Press laser key (Pos.2) to turn ON or OFF the laser beams. When symbol disappear from the display you
can measure without laser beam.
4. Unit setup
Press and hold °C / °F - buzzer button (Pos. 3) in for 2 seconds to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

5. MAX/MIN function
Press MAX/MIN button to switch between MAX and MIN temperature.

6. Find heat and cold point
Aim the thermometer at target area and start to measure, then move up and down slowly to sweep the whole
area until the heat point and/or cold point are found.
7. D:S (Distance coefcient)
Limit 94 have D:S of 12:1 which means that if an object is measured from a distance of 12 m the instrument
will show the average value of 1m in diameter (shown below).

8. Visual eld
Ensure that the target is larger than the diameter of the two laser spots. The smaller the target is, the closer
should the measurement distance be. Suggested measurement distance should be so the diameter of the two
laser spots cover less than 75% of the testing area (shown below).

9. Emissivity
Emissivity characterization reects the of material’s radiated energy. Emissivity for most organic materials,
paints or oxidized surfaces are about 0.95. Total emissivity of selected metals and non-metals are listed in the
following table.

Användning:
1. Start och stopp
1.1 Tryck på avtryckaren (1) för att starta termometern. LCD-displayen (5) och bakgrundsbelysningen
tänds.
1.2 Termometern stängs av automatiskt om den inte används under 8 sekunder.
2. Manuell mätning
2.1 Rikta termometern mot den yta som ska mätas och håll in avtryckaren. SCAN-ikonen indikerar att
mätytans temperatur mäts.
2.2 Släpp upp avtryckaren (SCAN-ikonen försvinner och HOLD-ikonen tänds för att indikera att mätningen
har stoppats). Det senaste värdet sparas i displayen.
3. Ställa in laserstråle
Tryck på Strömbrytare för laser (2) för att starta / stänga av laserstrålarna. När ikonen försvinner från
displayen kan du mäta utan laserstråle.
4. Ställa in enhet
Håll inne Temperatur (°C / °F) och summer på / av (3) i 2 sekunder för att växla mellan Celsius och
Fahrenheit.
