• CAUTION - Before driving, ensure that the hood shield is properly secured to vehicle.
• Do not use automatic “brush-style” car washes.
• Do not use cleaning solvents of any kind.
• Periodically check all components for tightness.

Preparation Before Painting / Installation
• A trial fit is recommended to ensure proper positioning and fit.
• Check fit of parts before painting as we will not accept the return of modified or painted parts.
• Wash and dry your vehicle to remove any debris and/or dirt from the installation area.

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN
Center the hood shield on the hood. Note the position of the of the
holes on the outboard flange and where they align with the hood
edges.

Apply a strip of protective film to the hood at BOTH loca-
tions that correspond with the holes in the hood shield.

Remove hood shield from vehicle. Install (1) bracket at
EACH hole location on the shield and attach using (1)
screw and (1)washer.

Expose 2” (5 cm) of tape liner from EACH end of the middle flange
regions. Ensure you can access the free ends of tape liner.

Center the hood shield on the hood, carefully allowing the brackets
to align with the previously installed protective film. Position center
of hood shield UNDER the top rung of the grille.
Remove remaining tape liner by pulling on free ends. Press
firmly on flanges to ensure adhesion of tape to hood surface.

Install bump ons at pre-cleaned locations on the
painted hood/fender surface.
Close hood fully.

• Wash only with mild soap & dry with a clean cloth.

Préparation avant la peinture / Installation
• Un ajustement d’essai est conseillé pour s’assurer que tout est correctement installé et réglé.
• Vérifiez l’ajustement des pièces avant de peindre car nous n’accepterons pas de retour de pièces modifiées ou peintes.
• Nettoyez et séchez votre véhicule pour éliminer les débris et/ou la saleté de la surface de l’installation.

Centrez le protecteur sur le capot. Repérez la position des trous sur
le rebord extérieur et vérifiez qu’ils sont bien alignés avec
les bords du capot.

Appliquez une bande du film protecteur sur le capot, au
niveau des DEUX trous du protecteur pour capot.

Retirez le protecteur pour capot du véhicule. Installez un
(1) support sur CHAQUE trou du protecteur et fixez-le à
l’aide d’une (1) vis et d’une (1) rondelle.

Décollez CHAQUE extrémité de la bande du ruban adhésif situé
sur le bord central de 5 cm (2”). Assurez-vous d’avoir un accès
aisé aux extrémités de la bande du ruban adhésif.

Placez avec précaution le protecteur sur le capot et centrez-le
en vous assurant que les supports sont bien alignés avec le film
protecteur installé antérieurement. Placez le centre du protecteur
pour capot SUR l’échelon supérieur de la grille.
Retirez la bande du ruban adhésif en tirant sur les deux
extrémités. Appuyez fermement sur les rebords pour garantir
une bonne adhérence du protecteur à la surface du capot.

Placez les tampons sur les points que vous avez
nettoyés sur le dessus du capot (partie centrale et
parties latérales).
Fermez complètement le capot.
Entretien et nettoyage
• Utilisez uniquement un détergent doux et séchez à l’aide d’un linge propre et sec.

Centre el protector en el capó. Verifique la posición
de los agujeros en las aletas exteriores y dónde se alinean
con los bordes del capó.

Aplique una tira de capa protectora en el capó en los
DOS sitios que corresponden con los agujeros en el
protector del capó.

Quite el protector del capó del vehículo. Instale (1)
sostenedor en CADAagujero del protector y ajústelo
utilizando (1) tornillo y (1) lavadora.

Exponga 2” (5 cm) de la cinta protectora de CADA extremo de
las aletas del medio. Asegúrese de poder acceder a los extremos
sueltos de la cinta protectora.

Centre el protector en el capó, permitiendo que los sostenedores
se alineen cuidadosamente con la capa protectora previamente
instalada. Ubique el centro del protector del capó DEBAJO del
peldaño superior de la parrilla.
Quite la cinta protectora restante tirando desde los extremos
sueltos. Presione firmemente las aletas para asegurar la
adhesión de la cinta a la superficie del capó.

Instale los soportes en los sitios previamente limpios
del capó pintado/de la superficie del guardabarros.
Cierre el capó por completo.

• Lave sólo con jabón neutro y seque con un trapo limpio.
