“What’s in the box?”
•Majority Mercury Docking

Please note all (Ref.) refer to Page 2 Controls and Functions mapping guide.
Basic Operation
•Pull the protective plastic cap out of the battery compartment to activate back-up battery (Ref.10).
•Plug the power supply plug into the mains and the connector into the back of the system labelled DC IN 5V (Ref.9).
•Move the antenna (Ref.8) if needed to get the best FM signal that you can.
•Press the ‘ON/OFF/MODE’ button to turn on the unit (Ref.1). The system should go straight to “FM Radio”. The first time you
do this FM frequency “87.5 MHz.” will be displayed on the screen.
•Press the ‘On/Off/Mode’ button (Ref:1) to switch to “iPod” or again to switch back to “FM Radio”.
•To turn off press and hold the ‘On/Off/Mode’ button (Ref.1).
Standby
•To change the music system back into standby, press and hold the ‘ON/OFF/MODE’ button (Ref.1). To turn off completely, switch
off at the mains. The cord must be out of reach of children.

FM Radio
•Press the ‘On/Off/Mode’ button to turn on the unit (Ref.1). The system should go straight to “FM Radio”. The first time you do this
FM frequency “87.5 MHz.” will be displayed on the screen.
•Move the antenna (Ref.8) if needed to get the best FM signal that you can.
•To auto scan, press and hold (for a few seconds) the ‘Play/Pause/Resume’ button (Ref.2) and then release.
•The radio will automatically save all the stations with a strong signal up to 108 MHz.
•After searching has finished it will automatically play the first station stored.
To tune a specific frequency
•To listen to a specific frequency press and hold ‘TU+/DIM’ (Ref.5) to search forward quickly and ‘TU-/DIM’ (Ref.5) to search back
quickly. It will stop searching when the button is released. To search slowly press the ‘TU+/DIM’ (Ref.5) and ‘TU+/DIM’ button
(Ref.5) multiple times rather than holding.
IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXTENDED THE ANTENNA TO ITS FULL LENGTH (Ref.8).
THIS WILL ENABLE YOU TO GET THE BEST SIGNAL.

Set Up of the FM Radio Preset Stations

Preset a radio station –up to 20 preset stations can be set
To store a station that you are currently playing:
•Tune the station you want to save.
•Press and hold the ‘MEM/SLEEP’ button (Ref.7).
•The station will be stored and the display will show the preset number it has been saved as.
To recall a preset radio station
•Press the ‘Play/Pause/Resume’ (Ref.2) button multiple times to scroll through the 20 options. Once you are on the preset number
you want to listen to release the button and your chosen station will automatically play.

iPod Mode

iPod Mode
•Press the ‘On/Off/Mode’ button to turn on the unit (Ref.1). The system should go straight to “FM Radio”. Then press the
‘On/Off/Mode’ again (Ref.1) to switch to “iPod”.
•Ensure that your iPhone or iPod is sat on the docking station correctly (Ref.3).
•Once your iPhone/iPod is connected you can then play your music.
•Choose your music selection from you phone and then you can use the controls on the system.
•Press ‘TU+/DIM’ (Ref.5) to go to next track and ‘TU-/DIM’ (Ref.5) to play previous track.
•Press ‘PLAY/PAUSE/RESUME’ (Ref.2) to play or pause the track.

Clock Setting

Clock Setting –the time can be changed in standby but will automatically show the time when you connect your phone via the iPod
mode.
•In standby mode, Press and hold the ‘CLOCK’ button (Ref.6). The display numbers will flash.
•To change the minutes use the ‘TU+/DIM+’ button (Ref.5) to change the minutes.
•Then to change the hour use the ‘TU-/DIM-’ button (Ref.5) to change the hour.
•Press the ‘CLOCK’ (Ref.15) button for a few seconds to confirm your choice.
•The time is now set.

Dual Alarm Setting

.Alarm1 Setting/ Alarm2 Setting
•Ensure the radio is in standby mode.
•Press and hold ‘VOL-/AL1’ or ‘VOL+/AL2’ buttons (Ref.4) to set ALARM1/2.
•To change the minutes use the ‘TU+/DIM+’ button (Ref.5) to change the minutes.
•Then to change the hour use the ‘TU-/DIM-’ button (Ref.5) to change the hour.
•Press the ‘VOL-/AL1’ or ‘VOL+/AL2’ buttons (Ref.4) depending on which alarm you are setting, you the can scroll through the alarm
sounding options by using the ‘TU+/DIM+’ button (Ref.5). When on your required option ”BUZZER,RADIO or iPod” press the ‘VOL-
/AL1’ or ‘VOL+/AL2’ button (Ref.4) depending on which alarm you are setting.
•You can choose your volume levels by using the ‘TU+/DIM+’ button (Ref.5) to tab through which volume level you want. To
confirm, press the ‘VOL-/AL1’ or ‘VOL+/AL2’ button (Ref.4) depending on which alarm you are setting.
•The display will show “AL1/AL2” once the alarm has been set.

Alarm Sound and Snooze

Alarm Sound
•If the alarm is set to “Radio” mode it will play FM Station.
•If two alarms are set, when ALARM1 is sounding, if ALARM 2 begins to sound it will automatically turn off ALARM1.
Snooze/Switch off alarm when sounding
•To activate or deactivate the alarm timer press the ‘VOL-/AL1’ or ‘VOL+/AL2’ button (Ref.4) multiple times and it will show on the
display if AL1 and/or AL2 are on.
•When alarm rings press the ‘On/Off/Mode’ (Ref.1) button to turn off alarm but alarm setting will remain.
•If ALARM1 is snoozed then ALARM2 will also be snoozed
•To snooze press any button other than the ‘VOL-/AL1’ or ‘VOL+/AL2’ button (Ref.4) or “ON/OFF/MODE” button (Ref.1).
