Filtration Technologies
Chlorine Taste and Odor Reduction
Activated Carbon block
•‘Adsorbs’ – contaminants are retained
on the surface of the media. Large
pores within the carbon provide
maximum surface area.
•‘Absorbs’ – contaminants physically
migrate into the carbon media.
•‘Catalytic Action’ – contaminants
chemically react with the carbon and
are reduced in concentration.
