cameras—giving you the power to
record still images and movies without
compromise. The optional FT1 mount
adapter allows you to use NIKKOR D-SLR

in the blink of an eye, the waterproof,
shockproof, dustproof, and freeze-proof
construction means you can capture your
life’s stories in places you wouldn’t dare
bring your old camera. And thanks to
the sophisticated minimalist design,
the Nikon 1 AW1 won’t look out of place

Nikon 1 features like Motion Snapshot
and Best Moment Capture will reward
you with unique images. If movies are
your thing, Advanced Movie Mode lets
you capture stunningly crisp Full HD
footage. The CX-format CMOS sensor
oers a 14.2-megapixel resolution,
and the ISO range goes up to 6400
for beautiful low-light detail.
The astonishingly fast autofocus system
delivers spot-on photos and smooth
movies, no matter what or where you’re
shooting. And when the action really
gets going, there’s no need to stand on
the sidelines and watch: You can capture

1 NIKKOR AW lenses, and you can capture
high-quality photos and movies as far down
as 15 m underwater.

the camera—as well as an O-ring for the lens
mount—protect the system from water and
dust. You’re free to snap the wonders under
