The use of rolling lift bridges is subject to certain hazards that cannot
be prevented by mechanical means, but only by the exercise of
intelligence, care, and common sense. It is therefore essential to
have owners and personnel involved in the use and operation of
equipment who are careful, competent, trained, and qualied in
the safe operation of the equipment and its proper use. Examples
of hazards are dropping, tipping, or slipping of the load caused
primarily by improper setups, overloading, o-centered loads, and
using equipment for a purpose for which it was not designed.
It is the responsibility of the owner to make sure all personnel read
this manual prior to using this device. It is also the responsibility of
the device owner to keep this manual intact and in a convenient
location for all to see and read. If the manual is lost or not legible,
contact Norco Industries, Inc. for a free replacement. If the operator
is not uent in English, the product and safety instructions shall be
read to and discussed with the operator in the operator’s native
language by the purchaser/owner or his designee, making sure
that the operator comprehends its contents.

This product is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. For details
see the back cover of Norco’s product catalog.
IMPORTANT: READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPERATING
WARNING
• Consult the vehicle manufacturer for proper lifting locations.
• Inspect the bridge before each use. Do not use the bridge if it is
damaged, altered, modied, in poor condition, leaking hydraulic
uid, or unstable due to loose or missing hardware.
• Use the bridge only for its intended purpose.
• Do not use beyond rated capacity.
• Make sure vehicle is in park and the emergency brake is on
before attempting to raise a vehicle.
• The center saddle can only be used to lift one end of the
vehicle.
• Do not use the center saddle if the work to be performed can
cause the load to transfer resulting in an o balance condition.
• Make sure the load is centered on saddle/s before lifting.
• Use proper saddle adjustments and optional adapters in order
to prevent over extension of the bridge’s ram travel.
• Be sure setup is stable and secure before lifting.
• Allow for a minimum 10” head and body clearance when
releasing the load. Always position yourself well below the
bridge’s saddles.
• Be careful of pinch points.
• Always lower load slowly and carefully.
• Use only Norco saddles and adapters.
• Do not alter or modify this bridge.
SETUP
1. Install the quick disconnect of your choice in the air valve at the
end of the air/hydraulic pump.
2. Back o the four allen socket set screws that secure the
mounting adapters to the bridge body. Lower the aboveground
or in-ground lift to its lowest position. Install the bridge on the lift
by extending the at-end or hook-end mounting brackets. Make
sure the spring loaded rollers in the at-end or hook-end mounting
brackets are resting on the appropriate surfaces on the lift. Consult
the lift manufacturer for the proper location of the bridge/s on the lift.
NOTE: The bridge should not bottom out before the lift when the
lift is lowered all the way down.
3. Adjust the location of the bridge by making sure it is positioned
at an equal distance from both sides of the lift. Once located, tighten
the allen socket set screws that secure the mounting adapters to
the bridge body.
4. Connect the shop air line to the quick disconnect.
Note: Revision letters (A, B, C, D etc.) after model numbers have been omitted as they do not aect the setup,
operating and maintenance instructions of a particular jack unless otherwise noted.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Become familiar with the operating controls of the air/ hydraulic
pump. Pushing the black button near the air hose connection
will raise the bridge. Lowering the bridge is accomplished by
depressing the red lever lightly. Depressing the lever hard will
lower the bridge and load at a fast rate of speed. Familiarize
yourself with the actuation of the lowering lever before lowering
the bridge under load.
2. The locking latch lever must be manually disengaged and
lowering lever depressed simultaneously in order to lower the
load. If the locking latch is engaged it will be necessary to raise the
load a short distance to allow for disengagement before lowering
the load.
3. Shop air pressure should not exceed 120 P.S.I. Use a separate
pressure regulator for the bridge’s air/hydraulic pump if the shop
system pressure exceeds 120 P.S.I.
4. With the bridge in the lowered position, push it under that
portion of the vehicle to be lifted. Remember to use the vehicle
manufacturer’s designated lift points.
5. The majority of lift applications require the use of two saddles.
Evaluate which adjustable saddles you will use for the particular
application. It may be necessary to extend the height of the
saddles so no under vehicle parts or components come in contact
with the bridge beam. Saddles can be extended by turning them
in a counterclockwise direction and lowered by turning them in a
clockwise direction. It may also be necessary to extend or retract
the telescopic arms in the bridge beam so the adjustable saddles
will line-up with the designated lift points.
6. Raise the bridge slowly and in short increments to make sure
the saddles are centered on the lift points. Make sure the setup is
stable and the saddles are adequately engaged with the vehicle’s
lift points before you proceed to lift the vehicle.
7. Lift the vehicle to the desired work height making sure the
locking latch lever is engaged. If it is not engaged, raise or lower
the bridge to the closest available locking lever position.
8. Follow steps 1 and 2 under “Operating Instructions” for lowering
the load.
REPAIR SERVICE
If your Norco product requires service or repair, contact the Norco
Customer Service Department for the location of the nearest Norco
Authorized Service Center.

It will be necessary to provide the Norco Authorized Service Center
with a copy of the bill of sale if requesting warranty repair. If the
authorized service center determines your product is eligible for
warranty repair, the repair will be made at no charge and returned
freight prepaid. The cost of non-warrantable service, repair, and
return freight is the customer’s responsibility.
1. Always protect the bridge from exposure to inclement weather,
corrosive vapors, abrasive dust, or any other harmful elements.
2. The bridge must be lubricated periodically with a general
purpose grease so pivot points, saddle extension screws and
spring loaded rollers in the extension adapters will continue to
work freely.
3. An air or hydraulic uid leak requires immediate repair which
must be performed in a dirt-free environment by qualied hydraulic
repair personnel who are familiar with this equipment. Norco
authorized service centers are recommended
4. Every rolling lift bridge owner is responsible for keeping the
bridge label clean and readable. Use a mild soap solution to wash
external surfaces of the bridge but not any pneumatic or hydraulic
components. Contact Norco Industries for a replacement label if
your bridge’s label is not readable.
5. Inspect the bridge before each use. Do not use the bridge if any
component is cracked, broken, bent, shows signs of damage, or
leaks air or hydraulic uid. Do not use the bridge if it has loose or
missing hardware or components, or is modied or altered in any
way. Take corrective action before using the bridge again.
6. Do not attempt to make any repairs unless you are a qualied
repair person that is familiar with this equipment.
