You have 3 options when connecting your Bluetooth Music
Receiver to your Home Theater Receiver/Audio Device:
• Connect the power supply
to the Bluetooth Receiver.
• The LED light will ash
slowly to show the unit is
powered and ready to
be paired.
OPTION 1: Using 3.5mm Auxiliary Audio Cable
• Connect one end of the 3.5mm Auxiliary Audio Cable to the
Audio output on the Bluetooth Receiver.
• Connect the other end of the 3.5mm Auxiliary Audio Cable to
the Aux IN input on your Home Theater Receiver/Audio Device.

OPTION 2: Using 3.5mm to RCA Auxiliary Cable Adapter + Auxiliary
Audio Cable
• Connect one end of the 3.5mm Auxiliary Audio Cable to the
Audio output on the Bluetooth Receiver.
• Connect the other end of the 3.5mm Auxiliary Audio Cable to the
female connection RCA Auxiliary Cable Adapter.
• Connect the RCA Auxiliary Cable connectors to the Audio inputs
on your Home Theater Receiver/Audio Device.

SETUP
OPTION 3: Using an Optical Digital Audio cable (not included)
• Connect one end of the Optical cable to the optical output on
the Bluetooth Receiver.
• Connect the other end of the Optical cable to the optical input
on your Home Theater Receiver/Audio Device. Consult your
stereo’s user manual for more information on how to connect.

Congure
Play any Smartphone or Bluetooth enabled device wirelessly
through your Home Theater Receiver/Audio Device. The NFC™
function of your device allows you to easily connect and share
your music.

For NFC-enabled devices
PAIR & CONNECT
1. In SETTINGS , conrm that NFC is ON.
2. Tap the phone on the Bluetooth Receiver.
3. Click YES if asked to connect. The LED on
the Bluetooth Receiver will stay lit while
connected.
You can now control your music using
your Smartphone through your
Home Theater Receiver/Audio Device.
For NFC-enabled smart devices
TO DISCONNECT
1. Tap the phone on the Bluetooth Receiver.
2. Click YES if asked to disconnect. The
LED on the Bluetooth Receiver will
ash slowly when disconnected.
How you access your NFC Settings may vary from one
manufacturer to another.
NOTE: Maximum line of sight for Bluetooth transmission range
is 33 feet. Obstacles may decrease transmission distance.

PAIRING
For Bluetooth® enabled Smartphones
PAIR & CONNECT
1. Go to SETTINGS to turn
on Bluetooth.
2. A list of Bluetooth devices
will appear.
3. Tap on "Nyrius BR51".
4. Click YES if asked to connect.
You can now control your music using your Smartphone through
your Home Theater Receiver/Audio Device. The "Bluetooth Active"
icon will appear on the main screen when connected.
How you access your Bluetooth Settings may vary from one
manufacturer to another.
TO DISCONNECT
1. Go to SETTINGS and into your
Bluetooth settings.
2. A list of Bluetooth devices will appear.
3. Tap on "Nyrius BR51".
4. Select YES if asked to disconnect. The
LED on the Bluetooth Receiver will
ash slowly when disconnected.
The "Bluetooth Active"icon will disappear from the main screen
once disconnected.

Pairing multiple devices
Although the Bluetooth Receiver can only play music from one
device at a time, it can memorize up to 8 device proles.
Switching from one device to another:
1. Access the SETTINGS and turn Bluetooth function of the
device OFF.
2. The Bluetooth Music Receiver can now be connected to a
different device.
3. Follow the PAIR & CONNECT instructions to pair a new device.

Reconnecting your device
If you move out of range or turn
off the Bluetooth feature on
your device, the Bluetooth Music
Receiver will disconnect from your
device. To reconnect, simply access
the Bluetooth Settings on your
device and select the appropriate
Nyrius device listed, or connect
through your device’s NFC function.
Note: Unit will auto-pair if it was the last device connected. If
not, please refer to the pairing instructions.
