Ⅰ.Safety Symbols

Ⅱ.Safety Notes

1. Open the box carefully to avoid the accessories, like lens, being polluted by fingerprint or

sweat strain, dropping to ground and being damaged.

2. Do keep the instrument out of direct sunlight, high temperature or humidity, dusty and easy

shaking environment. Make sure the stage is smooth, horizontal and firm enough.

3. When moving the microscope, one hand hook into the upper slot behind the frame, and the

other hand hold the front bottom of frame.

4. If the bacterium solution or the water splash to the stage, objective or viewing tube, pull out

the power cord at once, and wipe up the microscope. Otherwise, the instrument will be damaged.

5. Be sure to keep at least 10cm away from the left, right, top, rear of the microscope from walls

and other objects, so as not to plug natural convection air, which is used for cooling.

6. Make sure the instrument is earthed, to avoid lightning strike.

7. Check the input voltage: be sure the input voltage which signed in the back of the microscope

is consistent with the power supply voltage, or it will bring a serious damage to the instrument.

Ⅲ.Maintenance

1. All the lenses have been well checked and adjusted. It is forbidden to disassemble them

yourself.

2. The nosepiece, coarse and fine focusing parts are so delicate that it is forbidden to

disassemble them carelessly by yourself.

3. Keep the instrument clean, wipe dust regularly, and be attention to avoid contaminating the

optical elements especially. The objective lenses should be cleaned every month by professional.

4. We can clean the contaminations such as fingerprints and oil smudges on the prism by using

the tissue paper and solution, which is mixed by ether(70%) and alcohol(30%).

Noting that alcohol and ether are highly flammable, do keep them away from the fire or

potential sources of electrical sparks, and use them in a drafty room as possible as you can.

5. Don’t use organic solvent to wipe the non-optical elements, when you need to clean, use the

soft detergent, please.

6. When using, if the microscope is splash by liquid, cut off the power at once, and wipe up the

moisture.

7. Do not disassemble any parts of the microscope. That will affect the function or decline the

performance of the microscope.

8. Place the instrument in a cool, dry position. After using the microscope, remember to cover it

with dust helmet.

9. Operating environment requirements for microscope:

a) Indoor use;

b) Temperature 5 ℃ ~ 30 ℃, humidity 45% ~ 80%;

c) Atmospheric pressure 86kpa ~ 106kpa, altitude below 2000m;

d) Working voltage 100V ~ 240V, frequency 50 / 60Hz.

10. Requirements for microscope storage and transportation environment:

a) Ambient temperature range: - 40 ℃ ~ + 55 ℃;

b) Relative humidity range: 10% ~ 95%.

3.Adjustment and Operation

3-1 Turn on the power（Fig.1）

First turn the main switch ①on the back of the

microscope body to the "○" (off) state. Insert the

power cord plug ⑤safely into the socket ④of the

adapter to ensure good contact.

Insert the adapter plug ③safely into the power base

②of the microscope to ensure good contact.

Insert the power cord plug ⑥safely into the power

supply socket ⑦to ensure good contact.

After the power is turned on, turn the main switch ①

to the "-" (on) state.

3-2 Adjust the brightness and switch up and

down illumination（Fig.2）

Turning the brightness adjustment knob according

to the direction indicated by an arrow on the

figure 2, the brightness strengthen.On the contrary,

the brightness decreases

As shown in figure 2, when the switch lever is

push-in, the light on the top is opening, the symbol

is ；When the light switch button is

push-out, the light on the bottom is opening, the

symbol is .

3-3 Light socket（Fig.3）

As shown in Fig.3, there are red dots in the socket

and plug,. Before the plug is inserted into the socket,

the direction should be adjusted until their red dots

are aligned.

The symbols on the left and right sockets are

corresponding with the switch button of light

source.As shown in the figure, is the socket of

upper light source, which is corresponding with the

state of pushing in the knob of switching light source.

is the socket of lower light source, which is

corresponding with the state of pushing out the knob

of switching light source.

If the upper and lower light source switch button

is inconsistent with the state shown in the diagram.

Check the light source plug and make sure the plug is

plugged into the appropriate socket.

3-4 Placing the Specimen（Fig.4）

Pull out the movable claw, put the specimen

in the corresponding slot, loosen the movable

claw and clamp the specimen.

★Be careful when changing the objective. When

the objective needs to be replaced after observing

the specimen with a short working distance

objective, the objective may collide with the

specimen

3-5 Adjusting the interpupillary distance

（Fig.5）

The interpupillary distance range: 47mm～

78mm.While looking through the eyepieces,

adjust for binocular vision until the left and right

fields of view coincide completely.

3-6 Three Light Path Switching（Fig.6）

Select the desired light path and brightness

ratio as shown in Fig.6

3-7 Focusing（Fig.7）

1. When camera is not used

Push the light path selector rod (as shown in

Fig. 7) in completely and observe with binocular

eyes. Use 10 ×In order to prevent the specimen

from colliding with the objective, the electric

stage should be raised first to make the specimen

close to the objective, and then the focusing hand

wheel should be rotated slowly and reversely to

make the specimen descend, and at 10 ×Search

the image in the eyepiece, and then press the

speed control button to switch to the low rate

focusing gear for fine adjustment. At this time, the

lens can be converted to other magnification

objective to achieve focusing without damaging

the specimen.

2. When camera is needed

Push the light path switch selector rod (as shown

in Fig.7) to the end for binocular observation.

After the image is clear, pull it out again for

observation through the camera system.

The hand wheel buttons on both sides work

independently, and different focusing speeds

can be set respectively. The speed gear is

displayed on the touch LCD screen.

3.Focus upper limit

In actual use, if you want to limit and lock the

stage height, that is, the upper limit position of

focusing according to the situation, you can set

the temporary upper limit position on the touch

screen. Please refer to the touch screen manual for

detailed operation instructions.
