before it has cooled.
• Make sure that the spotlight is installed at a suitable distance from
combustible materials and/or surfaces and ensure that there is
sucient ventilation to allow heat to dissipate.

eyes.
• The light must not be modified.
• Make sure the product is intact. Never use the product if any part of it
is damaged.
• Make sure the power cable is not caught on any sharp object and that
the plug is protected from rain or moisture.
• A damaged power cable should be replaced by a qualified electrician.
• Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid and do not
rinse it under running water.
• Children must not play with this product. Children must not clean or
carry out maintenance unless they are supervised by an adult.

5. FITTING
5.1 Fitting LED spotlights in general
• Do not mount the light in a location that is abnormally exposed to vibrations.
• The light can be mounted on a wall using the fastening bracket provided or on a suita-
ble stand.
• Do not mount the light more than 3 metres above the ground.
• For lights with a movement sensor, be sure to mount the light so that it is not activated
unnecessarily by movement/light in the direction of the sensor, such as trac or
street lights.
• The light can be angled up/down and locked in the required position with the knobs on
the sides of the light housing.
• Always plug the power cable into an earthed 230V outlet
5.2 Fitting to a stand
• The spotlights can be mounted on a suitable floor stand or frame (sold separately).
• Follow the instructions for the relevant stand/fra me.
5.3 Mounting on a wall
• The light should be positioned on the wall as shown below (fig 1).

6. ADJUSTING A SPOTLIGHT WITH MOVEMENT DETECTOR (PIR)
NOTE! Never try to detach the IR detector lens cover, as this will damage the IR detector
and void the warranty.
• Loosen the adjustment screw to angle the PIR sensor up or down. You can change the
selected detector range by changing the angle of the swivel hinge.
6.1 Adjusting the distance sensitivity – SENS
• The sensitivity refers to the maximum distance at which the PIR sensor can be trig-
gered by a moving body.
• Turn the SENS control from (+) to (-) to reduce sensitivity.
• Detection distance: min 1 – max 12 m.
6.2 Adjusting the time – TIME
• How long the light stays on can be adjusted from 10±5 seconds to 10±2 minutes.
• Adjust how long the light stays on by turning the TIME control towards plus (+) or
minus (-).
6.3 Adjusting the light sensitivity – LUX
• You can adjust whether the light will turn on during daytime by turning the LUX control
towards the sun, or just in the evening by turning it towards the moon.
• The sun indicates that PIR is set to work during both daytime and the evening.
The moon indicates that the light will only come on when it is dark outside.

6.4 Walking test
• You can perform a test to determine the size of the area covered by the movement
sensor.
• Set LUX to the sun and TIME to minimum and walk in the area you want to monitor.
NOTE!
After the movement detector has switched the light on, the set time is counted from the
start again each time new movements are detected.
The movement detector is aected by heat radiation. At low outdoor temperatures, the
detector is more sensitive to body heat than at higher temperatures.
If the light is not activated at night, this may be because street lighting, house lights
or other lighting in the surrounding area are aecting activation. Turn the LUX control
towards the sun icon to increase the daylight level. If the light is activated unnecessarily
during the day, turn the LUX control toward the moon icon to reduce the daylight level.
To ensure that the movement detector works properly, clean it regularly (see “Cleaning
and Care”).
7. CARE
WARNING! Turn o the power before undertaking any maintenance.
7.1 LED and protective glass
NOTE! The spotlight’s light source and protective glass cannot be replaced. If any of the
parts are broken, replace the entire light.
7.2 Cleaning (light and motion detector)
• Wipe the outside of the product with a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use strong cleaning agents.

7
8. TROUBLESHOOTING Spotlight with motion detector
The spotlight may switch on by mistake because:
• Vents are emitting steam or hot air, e.g. from a laundry room.
• Engines from cars are emitting heat.
• Bushes or trees are moving or changing temperature.
• It is mounted under a roof or tree.
• It is aected by strong electromagnetic interference..
If the spotlight does not work at all, this may be because:
• The fuse has tripped.
• It has been mounted in a way that any movements are outside the sensor area.
If the sensor shows a reduced function, this may be because:
• The object that it should react to has the same, or almost the same, temperature as
the ambient temperature.
