and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.

1. SAFETY
1.1. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to check the following:
Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before using. Inspect power supply leads, plugs and
all electrical connections for wear and damage. Sealey recommend that an RCD (Residual Current Device) is used with all electrical
products. You may obtain an RCD by contacting your local Sealey stockist.
if the product is used in the course of business duties, it must be maintained in a safe condition and routinely PAT (Portable
Appliance Test) tested.
Electrical safety information, it is important that the following information is read and understood.
1.1.1. Ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.
1.1.2. Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure.
1.1.3. Important: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the power supply to be used and that the plug is tted with the
correct fuse - see fuse rating in these instructions.
8DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.
8DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable. Remove the plug from the socket by maintaining a rm grip on the plug.
8DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Ensure that any faulty item is repaired or replaced immediately by a
qualied electrician.
1.1.4. This product is tted with a BS1363/A 13 Amp 3 pin plug.
If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch the electricity supply and remove from use.
Replace a damaged plug with a BS1363/A 13 Amp 3 pin plug. If in doubt contact a qualied electrician.
Class II products are wired with live (brown) and neutral (blue) only are marked with the Class II symbol;
A) Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal ‘L’.
B) Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal ‘N’.
C) After wiring, check that there are no bare wires and ensure that all wires have been correctly
connected.
Ensure that the cable outer sheath extends inside the cable restraint and that the restraint is tight.
8DO NOT connect either wire to the earth terminal.
Sealey recommend that repairs are carried out by a qualied electrician.
If an extension reel is used it should be fully unwound before connection. A reel with an RCD fitted is
preferred since any appliance plugged into it will be protected. The cable core section is important and
should be at least 1.5mm², but to be absolutely sure that the capacity of the reel is suitable for this product
and for others which may be used in the other output sockets, we recommend the use of 2.5mm² section cable.
1.2. GENERAL SAFETY
9Disconnect the fan from the mains power when not in use and before servicing or performing any maintenance.
9Use the fan in dry areas only. Do not use in wet or areas with high condensation such as showers, pools etc.
WARNING! If a fan falls into water or other liquid, immediately switch off and disconnect from the mains power supply. DO NOT touch
the fan until the mains power supply has been disconnected.
9Always disconnect the fan from the power supply when moving it from one location to another and ensure fan is stood on a level
surface.
9The fan air flow is powerful. Before use ensure that there is nothing nearby that will be damaged or displaced by the stream of air.
9Keep the fan clean and maintained in good condition. For motor service contact an authorised service agent.
9Use recommended parts only. Unapproved parts may be dangerous, and will invalidate your warranty.
8DO NOT operate the fan where there are explosive or flammable gases, fumes or other hazardous substances.
8DO NOT stand the fan on the power cable.
8DO NOT insert any objects through the fan guard.
8DO NOT cover the fan when in use.
8DO NOT immerse the fan in water or any other liquid.
8DO NOT allow children to operate the fan.
8DO NOT stand the fan where it may be knocked over or off a surface, or where the lead may cause a person to trip.
8DO NOT use the fan outdoors.
8DO NOT modify speed control or attempt to fit any additional external speed control device to the fan.

9When not in use place the fan in its original box, or otherwise cover, to protect from dust and store in a safe, dry, childproof
location.
NOTE: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
2. INTRODUCTION
High performance tower fan with advanced centrifugal blades for maximum air movement. Quiet operation and high durability motor. 5-carefully
programmed modes which include - Sleep/Calm/Refresh/Cool/Power. Offers quiet 70° oscillation allowing great airflow in any room. Additional
features include an 8hr timer, Easy-touch, Auto-dimming LED control panel and fully functional remote control and remote storage. Built-in handle
and ideal for home, bedroom and office environments. Easy-to-assemble, tool free.

4. ASSEMBLY
4.1. Pass power cord through the half of the base and thread it into the cable clamp (fig.1).
4.2. Align the pegs of one half to the mounting sockets of the other half and press together to securely assemble the base.
4.3. Using the supplied slotted thumbscrews, screw the base securely to the bottom of the body (fig.2).
5. OPERATION
WARNING! Ensure that you read, understand and apply safety instructions in Section 1 before using fan.
5.1. The fan can be operated using either the buttons on top or using the remote control located in the centre of the top of the fan, see fig.1.
5.2. Plug into the mains power and turn fan on by pressing button ‘A’.
5.3. Select the desired speed by cycling through the five speeds with button ‘B’.
5.4. The fan can be set to work constantly or for a time duration of 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours by cycling through with the Timer button ‘C’.
5.5. Press button ‘D’ to allow fan to oscillate.
5.6. Store the remote control unit in the recess in the top of the fan unit, see fig.1. Note: Battery type CR2025, not supplied with product.
6. MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Ensure that the fan is disconnected from the mains power supply before attempting any of the following:
6.1. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the outside of the fan.
8DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip onto the motor housing. DO NOT use solvents, petroleum, paint thinner
or other chemicals to clean the fan.
6.2. Should the motor, switch or the power lead require service or maintenance contact your local service agent.
6.3. When not in use place the fan in its original box or otherwise cover to protect from dust, and store in a safe, dry, childproof location.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.

Warranty: Guarantee is 12 months from purchase date, proof of which is required for any claim.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
