Possible side effects:
When operating a Cn display, you may experience side effects such as:
•Headache or strain of the eyes
•Dizziness, nausea or queasiness
•Disturbance of your sight and/or disorientation
•Impaired hand-eye or other co-ordination
•Fatigue or even exhaustion caused by strained viewing
•Loss of normal spatial sight, that is 3-dimential sight for instance when driving
(misjudgement of distances)
The above and similar side effects are caused by the way the objects watched are
depicted. Especially when it comes to artificial 3D images or representations, the
parallax of the image is often enlarged to increase the 3D effect. That means that the
objects shown in the Cn display are sometimes far in front of or behind the normal
display plane thus appearing much deeper than they are in reality. This may lead to
irritation of your eyes, which in turn might result in the above or similar side effects.
For this reason we recommend you to take regular breaks when operating the Cn
display in order to relax and avoid strain of your eyes. More specifically, we
recommend that you do not use the product for longer than one hour at the time
followed by a break of at least 10-15 minutes before using the Cn display again.
Individuals recommended not to use the Cn display:
Individuals who have been diagnosed with epilepsy or who have a personal or family
history of epilepsy should not use this product because it may trigger epileptic
seizures. If you have any doubt about this, consult with a medical doctor and/or
neurologist before using the product.
Furthermore, the eyes of persons younger than [10] years of age are often still
developing the ability to focus. Therefore, for individuals younger than [10] years of
age should not use this product because it may adversely affect the focusing ability
of their eyes.
SeeReal generally recommends that the following individuals should not use the Cn
display:
•Individuals with a history of epilepsy
•Individuals younger than 10 years of age
•Individuals suffering from a heart condition
