The director's intent.

Film and television directors admire Sharp LCD TVs, and with good reason.
Sharp designs televisions for the highest quality and performance. Sharp
engineers are masters with a deep appreciation of the visual world and
strive to optimize the four elements of image quality: contrast (feeling of
depth), gradation (smoothness), sharpness and color brightness.
If any element is missing or is overemphasized, the picture will appear
unnatural. Sharp AQUOS®televisions achieve a superb natural looking
display through fast response times which reduce blur. Imagine, an
onscreen image which is a precise reproduction of the original scene as
the director envisioned it.
AQUOS televisions boast some of the industry’s most light absorbing
screens for minimal reflectivity. Their ultra-slim profile, thin frames and
sophisticated design complement most any décor.
Quite simply, Sharp televisions beautifully and precisely present the
images and movies the way the director intended. But you don’t have to
be a master of the craft to appreciate Sharp technology and sophistication.
Just someone with a passion for quality.
Share the same vision.

Advanced AQUOS®LCD TV Technology
Great style and performance do not just happen. It takes a commitment to quality, an incredible team of professionals and a vision for innovation. Sharp, a global
leader in LCD televisions, brings all this and more to LCD TV technology, continually raising the bar to achieve outstanding quality and high performance.
120Hz
Displays with 120Hz capability provide a smoother picture with less jitter and makes scrolling
text easier to read. Sharp's advanced processing technology delivers ultra-smooth fast motion,
no matter what the source.
10 - bit
A 10-bit panel can reproduce and display approximately 1.07 billion colors as compared to
an 8-bit panel which can produce 16 million colors. More colors mean smoother transitions
between elements on the screen and more detailed imagery.
Response Time
Fast pixel response time provides sharp edges and clean lines for fast moving objects, like a
hockey puck moving across the ice. The faster the response time, the less visible motion blur.
