1. Introduction
Overview
Thank you for purchasing this Internet IP camera! This IP camera is an ideal product
for all kinds of video-surveillance purposes, like home/office safety, kid/pet
monitoring, and remote video acquiring, etc. Unlike conventional close-circuit video
camera, you’re not limited to the length of cable! Once this IP camera is connected
to the Internet, you can receive video from anywhere in the world where Internet
access is available.
This IP-Camera can be connected by UTP cable, or by connecting it to your wireless
network. Worry about the content will be intercepted by unauthorized person when
the video is transmitted over the air? That’s also not a problem! Unlike a
conventional analog wireless camera, from which video can be intercepted by
anyone who's got a compatible video receiver, this IP camera supports data
encryption (WEP, WPA and WPA2), which provides the ultimate data security level.
If you’re not familiar with wireless security, this IP camera also support WPS (Wi-Fi
Protected Setup), which allows you to setup wireless security in a very simple way -
just press the button on your router, and on your IP-Camera.

(and above, with plug-in installed).
Supports VGA (640 x 480), QVGA (320 x 240), and QQVGA (160 x 120) video
resolution, with auto-exposure control

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), the easiest way to setup a secure wireless
connection.
Supports DHCP and you can also assign a fixed IP address to the camera also.
Supports Dynamic DNS (used to allocate the IP camera’s Internet address, when
the ISP you’re using does not assign you with a fixed Internet address).
Supports UPnP, Windows XP (and above) will discover this IP camera in network
neighborhood automatically.
Send captured picture by Email or FTP when motion is detected.
Configurable motion detection sensitivity (6 levels from most sensitive to least
sensitive).
Built-in real-time clock, date and time information will be recorded with every
captured picture / video clip (also supports auto time synchronization via network
time protocol).

Camera Installation
Please follow the following instructions to configure your IP camera:
Unpack the product package and check if anything is missing.
Insert the supplied LAN cable into the ‘LAN’ jack.
You can skip this step if you’ll only use the wireless network.
Plug the power adapter into a wall socket, and connect the power connector to the
power jack located at the back of the IP camera.
Connect your tripod to tripod connector or place the camera in a secure place, and
point the camera to the place you wish to monitor.

2. Using the surveillance software
When the CDROM is inserted into the CDROM player, the CD-Menu will
automatically start.
(If it isn't started automatically, go to 'My Computer' > 'X:' (where X: is the drive
letter of the CDROM player) > open the 'Menu' folder > double click on
'CDMenu4.exe')
2.1 Admin utility
The Admin-utility can be used to detect the camera on the network, and to easily
change the cameras network-configuration. Select “Install Admin-Utility” in the CD-
Menu, to start the installation.

When the Admin-utility is installed, it can be found in the start-menu, via “START >
Programs > Internet Camera > IPCam Admin Utility”
The Admin utility will detect all IP-camera's on your network. If the camera isn't
detected, click the “Scan”-button.
Double-click on the IP-camera in the list, to open the camera web-interface in your
default browser.
Select the IP-camera, and click “Config” to configure the network settings. A login
dialog is shown. Enter the username and password for the camera (the default
username is 'admin', and the default password is 'admin')
After entering the correct username and password, the camera settings are shown:
On the 'WLAN Setting' tab, the wireless settings are shown. IP-address settings can
be changed on the 'LAN Setting' tab.
