WARNING
This log set kit shall be installed by a qualified service agency in accordance with
the manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable codes and requirements of the
Authority Having Jurisdiction. If the information in these instructions is not
followed e actly, a fire, e plosion or production of carbon mono ide may result
causing property damage, personal injury or loss of life. The qualified service
agency is responsible for the proper installation of this kit. The installation is not
proper and complete until the operation of the converted appliance is checked as
specified in the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the kit.

LOG SET INSTALLATION
Kit Contents:
•(1) Ceramic Log
•(1) Ceramic Rock
•7oz Lava Rock
•Metal Logset burner top
•Burner Top Gasket
Step #1
Your fireplace will have shipped from the factory with
the Glass Media burner top in place, before installing
the logset burner top, we need to remove the glass
burner top. The burner top is held in place by (12) #8
3/8” sheet metal screws using a ¼” nut driver around
the perimeter of the burner, remove these screws.
Keep these screws in a safe place as they will be
needed to secure the valve bracket again once the
logset burner is installed. (Figure 01)
Step #2
When the glass media burner top has been removed,
remenants of the old gasket will likely remain on the
burner base, carefully remove these gasket remenants
so all that remains is a clean surface for the new gasket.
If the surface is not cleaned properly, you may
encounter gas leaking from the edge of the burner top.

Step #3
This Log set kit will include a burner top and
replacement burner top gasket. Take care when
handling the burner top gasket as it can tear easily.

Step #4
Align the burner top gasket on the burner base
as shown, check that all holes in the gasket are
aligned with the holes in the burner base as
shown in figure 04.
Step #5
Align the burner top on the burner top gasket
as shown in figure 05, check that all holes in the
burner top are aligned with the holes in the
burner top gasket and burner base. The burner
top is not symmetrical, there should be 1 pin
left of the pilot and 2 pins right of the pilot.
Step #6
Secure the burner top using the (12) #8 3/8” sheet metal screws set aside from step #1 using a ¼” nut
driver, as shown in figure 06.

LOG SET INSTALLATION
With the urner top installed, the fireplace is now ready to have the Ceramic Log Set installed.
Step #7
Install the 3-rock cluster on the 2 pins located just right of the pilot. (Figure 07)
Step #8
Install the center birch log by placing the left side of the log on the locating pin left of the pilot. The right
side of the log will rest on top of the 3-rock cluster, rotate the log so it gently touches the rear enamel
panel of the firebo . (Figure 08)

Step #9
Evenly distribute the included 7oz of lava rock on the e posed burner top. Cover the burner top
completely but do not compress or “pack” the lava rock tightly. Pay special attention to tight and hard
to reach areas when placing the media on the burner. It is ok if small amounts of lava rock are lost over
the edge of the burner. (Figure 09)
Installation is now complete, refer to the ONE6 owner’s manual for instructions on final assem ly
and lighting of the appliance.
