This machine can be used in local mode via a parallel printer cable, as well as on a client-server
network via Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows 2000 Server, or NetWare server, and on a peer-
to-peer network via TCP/IP or IPX/SPX.

Using the printer when connected by parallel cable to a computer running Windows 95/98/Me/
NT/2000/XP.
Install the appropriate Printer Driver for the Operating System used.
(See “INSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER - Installing the Printer Driver.”)

SUPPLEMENT:
This machine can be used as a printer on a client-server network with Windows NT/2000
server or NetWare server, or on a peer-to-peer TCP/IP and IPX/SPX network. Also this
machine can be used as a printer with Macintosh when it connects to the network. Using
this machine as a network printer requires an optional network interface card. Refer to
“OPERATOR’S MANUAL FOR PRINTER FUNCTION - Network Setup”for further details.
