The purpose of this document is to show Tosibox Central Lock physical installation procedure only.
1. Make sure these basic requirements are met:
1. A wired network
2. One non-firewalled public IP-address
3. An Internet connection with speed of at least 10/10 Mbit/s.
4. A grounded power outlet of 90 – 264V AC
2. Check that the sales package content is available:
1. Ethernet cable – RJ45, 1 m
2. Power cord
3. Extension power cord
4. Faceplate with Tosibox logo
5. Rack mount rails
3. Complete the physical installation:
1. Secure a proper mechanical mounting of device. Use the rack mounting rails as necessary
2. Plug in the power cord. Use the extension power cord as necessary
3. Connect the Internet to the WAN port of the Central Lock
4. If necessary, connect an existing local network with an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the Central Lock
5. Switch the Central Lock on by pressing the switch on the front panel
6. Install the faceplate
4. Initial setup
After the Central Lock is installed and connected to Internet, it shall be connected with the Master Key.
Have the Master Key inserted in any of the USB ports of the Central Lock for about 10 seconds.
You may have to remove the faceplate to gain access to the front USB ports. Reinstall the faceplate if removed.
After this the Central Lock is ready to be taken into use. A secure remote access may now be established to
the Central Lock with this matched Key.
All further steps of deployment may be done remotely with the matched Master Key.
