4. Installation Requirements
1) Space Requirements
2) Air Guide Removal
3) Cooler Orientation
4) CPU and RAM interference check
The cooler’s installation requires an unobstructed space of 85mm(width),
132mm(length), and 152mm(height), with the CPU as a central reference point.
Please check if components such as ODDs and PSU protrude into the required
space.
Air guides on enclosures must be removed before the cooler’s installation since
they protrude into the cooler’s required space.
As shown in the diagram below, it
is recommended that the cooler be
installed so that air ows from the
cooler toward the enclosure’s rear
exhaust fan to be released.
* Recommended cooler orientation may
differ according to the motherboard
model.
Any RAM with a height taller than 44mm (1.75 ) will have interference with the CPU
cooler. Please check the height of your RAM modules prior to installation.

Attach the Backplate assembly to the back side of the
motherboard by aligning the Nuts to the motherboard
mounting holes. If you were unsuccessful at rst attempt,
you may continue with the installation without
the Double-sided Tape as it is not a necessary component.
Fasten the four Stand-offs to the
motherboard. Backplate is not
needed.
⑤ Apply thermal grease just enough to thinly cover the CPU surface, then
fasten the Bolts to isntall the cooler.
