Thank you for choosing the ITO pushchair from
Alvema. The pushchair is designed for disabled
children to be used both indoor and outdoor.
Please study the manual carefully and follow
all safety instructions. This will ensure that you
get the best use from your new chair.

INNLEDNING
Takk for at du har valgt vognen ITO fra Alve-
ma. Vognen er beregnet for transport av barn
med bevegelseshemninger og er konstruert for
bruk både innendørs og utendørs. Vi håper at
den skal være til nytte og glede for alle. Vi ber
deg følge bruksanvisningen nøye slik at du kan
håndtere det nye produktet best mulig.

SAFETY
• Read the manual carefully before use.
• Please note! The handle should be folded
when lifting the pushchair or using on the
stairs. Gripping the frame in front of the joint
will give better control of the child and the
pushchair and therefore be safer (20).
• Do not stand on the footplate, it should only
be used for supporting the feet while sitting
in the pushchair.
SAFETY
• Do not leave children unattended in the
pushchair.
•A bag attached to the frame adversely af-
fects stability and may cause the chair to tip
over.
• Never use defective equipment!
Do not attempt repairs yourself.
• For safety reasons, only an approved re-
pairer or your supplier must carry out re-
pairs. Original spare parts are recommen-
ded. Failure to observe this requirement will
invalidate your guarantee.
• The harness included with the ITO is for
positioning purpose only and should not be
used as a dynamic restraint belt.
Guarantee
We give a 2 year warranty on our products
for fabrication fault/damage. Exceptions are
fabric and wheels where we give 1 year war-
ranty. A normal wear and tear is not accep-
ted as a warranty. We urge our customers to
use the products according to the manual.
Save your original receipt, you will need it for
warranty repair claims.
REMARK! The guideline applying the
CE-marking is the medical device directive
93/42/EEC Eurovema reserves the right to
change any product without notice.

SIKKERHETSREGLER
• Les nøye gjennom bruksanvisningen før
vognen tas i bruk.
• Husk på å felle ned håndtaket ved trappe-
kjøring og løft. Et håndtak i chassiset foran
leddene gir økt kontroll over vognen og bar-
net, og dermed større sikkerhet (bilde 21).
• Stå aldri på fotstøtten, den skal kun bru-
kes til å hvile føttene på når man sitter i
vognen.
SIKKERHETSREGLER
• Ikke la barnet sitte i vognen uten tilsyn.
• Husk at en veske som festes på vognen
påvirker stabiliteten og øker risikoen for
velting.
• Defekt hjelpemiddel må ikke brukes! Ikke
foreta inngrep selv.
• Service og ev. reparasjoner bør utføres av
en servicevirksomhet som er godkjent av
leverandøren. Originale reservedeler anbe-
fales.
• Vesten som kan leveres som tilbehør til
Alvema ITO er kun beregnet til posisjone-
ring og skal ikke brukes som sikkerhetsbel-
te.
Garanti
Våre produkter har 2 års garanti for produk-
sjonsfeil/skade. Unntak for trekk og hjul,
som har 1 års garanti. Normal slitasje er ikke
grunnlag for godkjent garanti. Vi anbefaler
kundene våre å bruke produktet i henhold til
bruksanvisningen.
Ta vare på kvittering/mottaksbevis for eventu-
elle garantireparasjoner.

UNPACKING THE ITO
• Remove the pushchair from the box (1).
• Remove the protective plastic from the
wheels before use.
• Unfold the pushchair with one action (2).
Check the folding guards and engage them
if necessary.
• Press in both buttons and angle the handle
up (3).
• Place the cushion on the backrest, and at-
tach the loops around the knobs on the back
of the seat (4). Fix the seat
cushion to the Velcro on the seat (5).
• Cover the pelvic supports with the pads
and lock the Velcro (6).
• Attach the waist-belt straps by threading
them through the loops under the seat plate,
then thread back.(7).

PAKKE OPP ITO
• Løft vognen ut av kartongen (1).
• Fjern beskyttelsesplasten før bruk.
• Fell opp vognen i én bevegelse (2). Sørg for
at hylsene låser konstruksjonen.
• Trykk inn de to knappen og vinkle håndtaket
opp (3).
• Plasser ryggputen på ryggen. Fest gummi-
ringene rundt knottene på ryggen (4).
Fest seteputen på setets borrelås (5).
• Tre på hettene på sidestøttene (6) og lås bor-
relåsene.
•Fest midjebeltets remmer ved å tre remmene
gjennom ringene under seteplaten, tre deretter
tilbake (7).
Din ITO er nå klar til å stilles inn etter individu-
elle mål (8).

FOLDING THE ITO
• Fold down the safety catch (9) and pull up
the sleeves (10).
• Push the back forwards (11). To minimize
the volume of the folded pushchair, the back
should be in the most upright position.
• If the back extender is used, the footplate
needs to be folded, otherwise this is not ne-
cessary.
• Angle the handle down by pressing in both
buttons and then turning the handle down
(12).
Caution!/NB! Risk of catching.

LEGGE SAMMEN ITO
• Bøy vekk sikkerhetssperren (9) og trekk hyl-
sene oppover (10).
• Fell ryggen fremover (11). Ryggen skal være i
oppreist stilling for minste mulige sammenslåt-
te volum.
• Hvis ryggforlengelse brukes bør fotstøtten fel-
les inn, ellers ikke.
• Vinkle ned håndtaket ved å trykke inn de to
knappene og så vri håndtaket ned (12).
OBS! Vær oppmerksom på klemrisikoen.

ADJUSTMENTS
Footplate adjustment
• Adjust the height of the footplate using a
spanner/wrench (13). Release the nuts, set
height and re-tighten (14).
• The mesh can be removed for washing by
releasing the Velcro on the back of the foot-
plate. Pull the straps out of the slots.
Width adjustments
• The seat width is adjusted by loosening the
two outer screws under the seat (15). Adjust
the pelvic supports to the desired position
and angle and retighten the screws (16).
Depth adjustments
• The seat depth is adjusted by loosening
the two screws on the tubes under the seat
(17). Pull the seat to the desired length and
retighten the screws (18).

INNSTILLINGER
Fotstøttejustering
• Fotplatens høyde justeres ved at man løs-
ner mutterne (13) med en pipenøkkel. Still inn
støtten til riktig høyde og skru til mutterne igjen
(14).
• Helnettet kan tas av for vask ved å løsne bor-
relåsen, og remmene trekkes ut gjennom åp-
ningene.
Sittebredde
• Ønsket sittebredde justeres ved å løsne de
svarte ngermutterne på undersiden av setet
(15). Trekk sidestøtten til ønsket stilling og vin-
kel, og stram til ngermutterne (16).
Sittedybde
• Ønsket sittebredde justeres ved å løsne de
svarte ngermutterne på undersiden av setet
(17). Trekk platen ut til ønsket dybde og trekk
til ngermutterne (18).

ADJUSTMENTS
Push-Handle adjustment
•To adjust the angle of the handle press in
both buttons (19). Angle the handle and re-
lease the buttons again (20).
Please note! The handle should be folded
when lifting the pushchair or using on the
stairs. Gripping the frame in front of the joint
will give better control of the child and the
pushchair and therefore be safer (21).
Tilt adjustment
• The tilt of the seat can be adjusted by pul-
ling the bar upwards
(22). Tilt the seat to the desired angle and
release the bar (23).

Håndtaksjustering
• For å justere vinkelen på håndtaket, trykk inn
de to knappene (19). Vinkle håndtaket og slipp
knappene (20).
Husk på å felle ned håndtaket ved trappekjø-
ring og løft. Et håndtak i chassiset foran ledde-
ne gir økt kontroll over vognen og barnet, og
dermed større sikkerhet ( 21).
Tiltjustering
• Setevinkelen justeres ved å trekke staget
oppover (22). Vinkle setet til ønske vinkel og
slipp staget (23).

ASSEMBLY
Back extender
• Place the extender piece in the tubes on
the back piece of the pushchair (24).
• Attach the loops around the knobs on the
back of the seat (25)

Ryggforlengelse
• Skyv forlengelsesdelen ned på ryggens bakre
stag (24).
• Sett ringene på knottene på ryggen (25).

ATTACHING THE CUSHIONS
Slip the pocket at the back cushion over the
upper edge of the back support. Pull down
the bottom edge of the cushion, through the
gap between the seat and back, stretching it
so that it connects to the Velcro fastening on
the seat base (4). Finally, slip the pockets on
the seat cushion over the side supports (6).
Fasten the cushion with the Velcro fastening
under the seat base (5).
BRAKE
Brake by pushing down the lever with one
foot (12). You release the brake by lifting the
lever with one foot (13).

FASTSETTING AV PUTENE
Tre overdelen av ryggstøttens pute over den
øvre delen av ryggstøtten. Trekk nedre del av
ryggstøttens pute ned gjennom mellomrommet
mellom setet og ryggen. Strekk den ut og fest
den på baksiden av ryggstøtten med stroppe-
ne (4). Til slutt, tre seteputens lommer over si-
destøttene (6). Fest puten på borrelåsfestene
på undersiden av setet (5).
BREMS
Sett på bremsen ved å trykke ned bremsear-
men med foten (12). Løsne bremsen ved å løf-
te
opp bremsearmen med foten (13).
