You’re one of the growing community who have embraced the BluCave work zone!
Thank you for purchasing BluCave Audio Zone an innovative portable Bluetooth speaker with built-
in battery. This device can be easily connected with audio or video devices for your traveling and
daily needs.
The BT Speaker supports both Bluetooth and Aux-in function.

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and

• Do not place the product near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the product has been
damaged in any way.
• Do not place any sources of danger on the product, for example, lighted candles.
• Keep the product away from direct sunlight, naked flames or heat.
• Do not disassemble the unit and do not try to repair it yourself. In case of questions or problems turn
to our customer service.
• After use under humid circumstance, immediately clean the product with a soft dry cloth and let it dry
in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
• The battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

2. BATTERY CARE
The device contains a built in rechargeable lithium battery. Please charge the battery for at least 8 hours
before your first use of device.
• If the device is not used for a long period of time the battery may be low.
Please charge the battery.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Use only the supplied USB micro cable to recharge the battery. Improper charging may damage the
battery and the device.
• Do not attempt to open the rechargeable battery or battery pack.
There are no serviceable parts inside.
• Avoid storing the device in extremely hot or cold environment.
A device with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged.
• Do not dispose of products containing batteries in a fire as they may explode. Batteries may also
explode if damaged. Please dispose them according to local regulation.
Care of the environment
• Batteries and rechargeable batteries do not belong in household garbage.
• For battery disposal, please check with your local council.
Warning
• Never remove the casing of this apparatus.
• Never lubricate any part of this apparatus.
• Never place this apparatus on other electrical equipment.
Caution
• Removal of the built-in battery invalidates the warranty and may destroy the product.
• Always bring your product to a professional to remove the built-in battery.
Note
• Battery life and number of charge cycles vary by use and settings.
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all parts from the packaging and check them for damage in transit. Keep packaging materials
out of reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation!

5. BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
Pairing with your Bluetooth enabled device (should be within 10 meters)
1. Turn on the Audio Zone by moving “Power switch” to the “ON” position. The LED will flash in red and
blue color.
2. Navigate to the Bluetooth function on the device you wish to pair with the Audio Zone. (Refer to the
device owner’s manual to locate Bluetooth function).
3. Enable Bluetooth.
4. Select “Search” or “Discover” devices.
5. Press “Bluetooth pairing key” on the Sound Zone
6. Select “BluCave Audio” device when shown on your device.
7. If requested, type the password or PIN 0000
After completing the steps above, a message on your device will appear confirming that your device is now
paired/connected. The blue LED light on the Audio Zone will now stay solid, indicating successful pairing.
In case of unsuccessfully pairing, switch the Audio Zone “OFF” and repeat process.
Notice:
• If you turn the Audio Zone off and leave Bluetooth enabled on your device when you next turn on the
Audio Zone it will automatically connect.
• If while in use you take your device beyond the 20 meter range the Audio Zone will disconnect.
Should you return within range in less than 10 minutes your device will reconnect to the speaker
automatically.

7. NFC CONNECTION
NFC: Near Field Communication, is a way of
automatically paring your Audio Zone and a Bluetooth
enabled device.
If your device supports NFC simply ensure it is enabled
(refer to device manual) and then bring the Device close
to or touch the Audio Zone as shown right.
Your Bluetooth device will ask you Whether you want
to pair the Audio Zone, Confirm “Yes” or “OK”, then the
pairing Process is completed.
8. MICROPHONE
Your Audio Zone includes a microphone enabling it to be used as a speaker phone when pair to your smart
phone.

10.BATTERY CHARGING
The device has built-in rechargeable lithium battery. To charge the battery connect the included USB micro
lead of the Audio Zone and either a computer or AC adapter with USB port. When charging is completed, the
red light will go off.
The Audio Zone simply sides into the BluCave
carry cabinet for convenient storage.
NOTE:
• Audio Zone occupies 2 spaces in the
BluCave Carry Cabinet
• Ensure you align the side rails with the
slots in the side of the case.
• Audio Zone only compatible with
BluCave Carry Cabinet*
• To Maximise sound quality keep Carry

12.PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
1. To remove your Audio Zone from the protective case first press the two clips on either side and push
them forward to release the front cover. (Fig 01)
2. Once the front cover is removed the Audio Zone can be slid out of the protective case. (Fig 02 & 03)
3. To replace simply place the Audio Zone in the case and push the front cover on until the two clips
“Click” into place. (Fig 03)

13.PRODUCT CARE
Your device is designed to be portable, as an electronic device and it must be treated carefully. Whilst it
includes a protective case putting unnecessary pressure on it or striking the device against other objects
may cause damage.
• Do not drop, crush, or apply excessive force to the device.
• Do not expose your device to moisture, extreme or prolonged heat, cold, humidity, or other adverse
conditions. Avoid storing it in damp, humid or wet places. As it is not waterproof.
• Clean the unit with a soft cloth or damp chamoi.
• Never use solvents.
• Do not open the device there are no user serviceable components inside.
• This device contains magnets. Keep items such as credit cards and video screen away from this
device to avoid damage or malfunction.
14.DISPOSAL
General information
Never dispose of products bearing the symbol opposite in the household waste. You are obliged to
dispose of these used electrical and electronic devices separately. Ask your local authority about
the facilities for controlled disposal. Separate disposal passes used devices for recycling or other
forms of reuse. This helps prevent harmful substances from infiltrating the environment.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries:
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries.
Disposal in the domestic waste is prohibited! Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous
substances are marked with the icons opposite to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is forbidden.
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection points of
your community, in our stores, or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold! In doing so, you
fulfill your statutory obligations and help protect the environment.
