Contents
This cable remote may only be installed and started up for the first time by an authorized technician who will be
responsible for adherance to the applicable standards and installation regulations. We cannot accept any liability
for damage and losses due to non-compliance with these instructions. Read this manual completely before starting
up the cable remote. Particularly observe the safety instructions!
Important:
Operating instructions must be observed and handed over to the user! The appliance must be discon-
nected from the mains on all phases prior to installation!
1. Safety notes
The FXK cable remotes enables the instantaneous water heaters DEX, DSX, DCX and DBX to be comfortably con-
trolled even if the appliance is relatively inaccessible and the temperature consequently cannot be set as required.
The communication between the cable remote and the instantaneous water heater is bi-directional. Due to this
technology the data transfer is secured even under difficult installation conditions.
Note: A single FXK is used for one device only! There is no priority circuit between the cable remote and the set-
ting options at the appliance. All operation modules are coequal. Please observe that by interference of a second
user the water outlet temperature can change. The cable must be installed, sheltered and protected against exces-
sive traction.

1. The transmission adapter has to be assembled inside the instantaneous water heater.
Attention!
Before assembling the transmission adapter disconnect the instantaneous water heater from the
mains supply.

2. Remove the small cable lead-through (6) according to the installation type and insert the grommet.
3. Fix the transmission adapter with the mounting screw.
4. Plug the jack of the ribbon cable on the main-PCB.
5. Insert the interconnection cable through the small grommet and connect the strands as follows:
+ yellow
DA green
CL brown
– white
Shld shielding
6. Fix the cable with the tie (cable relief).
5. Installation
The remote control should be sticked on the wall with the included hook-and-loop tape or durable double sided
adhesive tape. To position the cable remote it is furnished with a plain surface area underside.

The cable remote is equipped with the following functions:
1. Arrow keys
You can set the required temperature gradually to a lower or higher value using the arrow keys and . The
outlet temperature can be selected from 20 °C to 60 °C.
Note: If temperature is set below 20 °C with arrow key the display shows “--“ and the appliance switches off
the heating function.
2. Programme buttons
The two programme buttons and allow to quickly select the preset temperature. When pressing a pro-
gramme key, the preset temperature is selected and displayed.
The factory setting for programme is 35 °C and for programme 48 °C. You can assign your own settings for
the programme keys:
• Prolonged pressing (approx. 4 sec.) of the programme key saves the previously selected temperature. This
newly set temperature is now available to you each time you press the corresponding programme key.

2. 依據安裝類型移除小型電纜引線口並插入金屬扣眼。
3. 用固定螺釘固定好傳輸適配器。
4. 在主電線上插入帶狀電纜的插座。

遙控器有以下功能：
1. 上下方向鍵
您可以通過上下方向鍵逐步降低或提高水溫。出水溫度選擇範圍為20℃-60℃。
注：如果用向下方向鍵將溫度設定低於20℃以下，熱水器將自動停止加熱，顯示為“--”。
2. 程式按鈕
通過兩個程式按鈕1 和 2可以快速選擇水溫。只要按一個程式按鈕，預設的溫度就可以自動選擇並
顯示出來。
程式按鈕 1 的出廠設定溫度為35℃，程式按鈕 2 的出廠設定溫度為48℃。您可以通過程式按鈕重
新設定您想要的溫度。
· 長按程式按鈕（大約4秒鐘）保存選定的溫度。每次只要按一下程式按鈕，便能選取設定的溫
度。
